工商管理学院是湖北经济学院办学规模最大、实力最强的院系之一。学院现有教职员工38人,全日制在校本科生、硕士研究生共计1100余人。学院设有工商管理系、市场营销系及人力资源管理系等3个系,开办工商管理、市场营销、人力资源管理等3个本科专业和预备经理特色班、连锁经营管理、创业管理等特色方向。

学院拥有实力雄厚和结构合理的师资队伍。在教师中,教授12人,副教授14人,高级职称的教师占80%;博士(含在读)24人,占教师的73%;有1人为国务院政府特殊津贴专家,有4人为湖北省有突出贡献的中青年专家或省、校级学科带头人,有6人为硕士生导师,有10位教授担任湖北省商业经济学会、湖北省市场营销学会、中国高校市场学研究会、中国企业管理学会等学术团体的副会长、秘书长、副秘书长及常务理事等职。

学院坚持以学科为龙头,以教学为中心,大力推进学科专业和课程体系的建设与改革。工商管理学科2012年被评为省级一级重点特色学科;企业管理学科为湖北省第四批硕士学位点立项建设学科,并与湖北大学开展联合培养硕士研究生教育;
2009年被批准为湖北省“楚天学者计划”设岗学科,目前有“楚天学者”3人、“彩虹学者”1人;湖北企业文化研究中心2012年获批为湖北省高校人文社会科学重点研究基地。市场营销专业于2005获得湖北省品牌专业市场营销建设项目立项,2010年验收通过并成为我校首个湖北省高等学校本科品牌专业,2008年获批国家级特色专业建设点,实习基地“中百集团”2012年获批为“湖北高校省级实习实训基地”并入选国家大学生校外实践教育基地建设项目。《市场营销学》、《管理学》为湖北省精品课程,以此带动了《人力资源管理》、《商务谈判》《现代推销学》、《企业战略管理》等校级精品课程的建设。同时,率先在国内推出了“校企合作”人才培养模式,与多家企业建立了校企合作关系,相继组建了“中百仓储经理预备班”、“中商营运经理预备班”等,成立了“稻花香人力资源培训基地”、“中百集团零售管理人才培训基地”等,通过积极探索与实践,有效实现了人才培养与企业需要的有机结合,开创学校、企业及学生“三赢”的良好局面,产生了积极的社会影响。

学院重视学术队伍建设,努力营造学术研究氛围,以促进科学研究上台阶、出精品。湖北企业文化研究中心、湖北省商业经济学会等机构,成为教师从事科学研究的良好平台。学院教师已承担国家及省部级科研课题60余项,其中有3项国家社会科学基金项目、1项国家自然科学基金项目;承担出版“十一五”国家规划教材《市场营销学》等30部(含专著);在《管理世界》、《企业管理》等国家级权威刊物发表论文400余篇,其中有20余项获湖北省人民政府、武汉市人民政府等部门授予的各类奖励,有10多份调研报告被湖北省委办公厅《决策参考》采用。屡次荣获学校科研“先进集体”称号。

学院围绕人才培养目标,在强化课堂理论教学的同时,加强校园文化建设和丰富第二课堂内容。以“学术讲座”、“专业沙龙”、“营销策划大赛”、“模拟企业经营挑战赛”、“创业设计大赛”、“商务谈判大赛”、“大学生职业规划大赛”等为主线的“学术活动月”;以“腾龙杯”、“开拓杯”为核心的文体活动,以及丰富多彩的学生社团活动和形式多样的社会实践活动等等,为广大学生增强竞争意识、创新精神与实际动手能力提供了广阔的舞台,有20余人在省级学科竞赛中获奖。多年来,工商管理学院毕业生一次就业率达到90%以上,2009、2010、2011、2012、2013年连续获得学校“就业优胜单位”称号,毕业生因综合素质高、专业知识扎实和实际动手能力强而受到用人单位的一致好评。学院党委被评为校“优秀基层党组织”,“湖北省高校‘两访两创’活动先进集体”与“湖北省高校思想政治工作教育先进工作集体”。

A brief introduction to the School of Business Administration of Hubei University of Economics

The School of Business Administration is one of the departments with the largest scale and strongest strength in Hubei Institute of Economics. The college has 38 faculty and staff, including more than 1100 full-time undergraduates and postgraduates. The college has three departments, namely, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Marketing and the Department of Human Resources Management. It offers three undergraduate majors, including business administration, marketing and human resources management, and characteristic classes for preparatory managers, chain management and entrepreneurial management.

The college has a strong and well-structured teaching staff. Among the teachers, 12 are professors, 14 are associate professors, 80% are teachers with senior professional titles, and 24 are doctors (including reading), accounting for 73% of the teachers. One is a special subsidy expert of the State Council, four are young and middle-aged experts or provincial and school-level discipline leaders who have made outstanding contributions in Hubei Province, and six are mentors of master’s degree. Ten professors served as vice presidents, secretaries, deputy secretaries and executive directors of Hubei Business Economics Society, Hubei Marketing Society, China University Marketing Research Association, China Enterprise Management Society and other academic organizations.

The college insists on taking discipline as the leader and teaching as the center, and vigorously promotes the construction and reform of discipline, specialty and curriculum system. The discipline of business administration was rated as the first-level key characteristic discipline at the provincial level in 2012, and the discipline of business management was the fourth batch of master’s degree construction disciplines in Hubei Province, and carried out joint training of postgraduate education with Hubei University.

In 2009, it was approved to set up a post for the Chutian Scholars Program in Hubei Province. at present, there are 3 Chutian Scholars and 1 Rainbow Scholars. Hubei Corporate Culture Research Center was approved as a key research base of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities in Hubei Province in 2012. The marketing major was established by the Hubei Brand Specialty Marketing Construction Project in 2005, passed the acceptance in 2010 and became the first undergraduate brand major of colleges and universities in Hubei Province, and was approved as a national characteristic specialty construction site in 2008. Zhongbai Group, the internship base, was approved as “Hubei University Provincial practice and training Base” in 2012 and was selected as the national college students’ off-campus practical education base construction project. “Marketing” and “Management” are excellent courses in Hubei Province, which promotes the construction of school-level high-quality courses such as “Human Resource Management”, “Business negotiation”, “Modern Marketing”, “Enterprise Strategic Management” and so on. At the same time, we took the lead in launching the talent training mode of “school-enterprise cooperation” in China, established school-enterprise cooperation relations with many enterprises, and successively set up “Zhongbai warehouse manager preparatory class”, “Chinese business operation manager preparatory class” and so on. “Daohuaxiang Human Resources training Base”, “Zhongbai Group Retail Management personnel training Base” and so on, through active exploration and practice. It has effectively realized the organic combination of talent training and the needs of enterprises, created a good situation of “win-win” for schools, enterprises and students, and produced a positive social impact.

The college attaches importance to the construction of the academic team and strives to create an atmosphere for academic research so as to promote scientific research to a higher level and produce high-quality works. Institutions such as Hubei Enterprise Culture Research Center and Hubei Commercial Economics Society have become a good platform for teachers to engage in scientific research. College teachers have undertaken more than 60 national, provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, including 3 National Social Science Foundation projects, 1 National Natural Science Foundation project, and 30 books (including monographs) published in the Eleventh five-year Plan textbook “Marketing”. More than 400 papers have been published in state-level authoritative journals such as “Managing the World” and “Enterprise Management”, of which more than 20 have been awarded various awards by the Hubei Provincial people’s Government and the Wuhan Municipal people’s Government, and more than 10 research reports have been adopted by the General Office of the Hubei Provincial CPC Committee for decision-making. Repeatedly won the school scientific research “advanced collective” title.

Centering on the goal of personnel training, the college strengthens the construction of campus culture and enriches the content of the second classroom while strengthening classroom theory teaching. “academic activity month” with “academic lectures”, “Professional Salon”, “Marketing Planning Competition”, “simulated Enterprise Management Challenge”, “Entrepreneurship Design Competition”, “Business negotiation Competition”, “College students’ career Planning Competition” and so on. The sports and sports activities with “Tenglong Cup” and “Pioneer Cup” as the core, as well as rich and colorful student community activities and various forms of social practice activities, and so on, it provides a broad stage for students to enhance their sense of competition, innovative spirit and practical ability, and more than 20 people have won awards in provincial discipline competitions. Over the years, the one-time employment rate of graduates of the School of Business Administration has reached more than 90%, and they have successively won the title of “employment winning unit” in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. graduates have been praised by employers for their high comprehensive quality, solid professional knowledge and strong practical ability. The party committee of the college was rated as “excellent grass-roots party organization”, “advanced collective of ‘two visits and two innovation’ activities of colleges and universities in Hubei Province” and “advanced work collective of ideological and political work education in colleges and universities in Hubei Province”.

It’s a long journey. I won’t stop pursuing it. The college will, as always, take discipline construction as the leader, teaching reform as the center, scientific research as the support, personnel training as the foundation, and serving the local economy as the purpose. with the goal of bringing up a first-class academic team, producing first-class research results and cultivating first-class management talents, we will strive to build the School of Business Administration of Hubei University of Economics into a first-class and well-known school of business administration in central China.
