仲恺农业工程学院简介

仲恺农业工程学院创办于民国十六年(1927年)，是一所以伟大的爱国主义者廖仲恺先生名字命名，以现代农业科学为特色，以农、工学科为优势，农、工、理、经、管、文、法、艺八大学科协调发展，服务于区域经济和现代农业的多科性教学研究型、具有硕士学位授予权的省属本科纪念大学，是全国第一批卓越农林人才教育培养计划高校。

学校坐落在历史文化名城——广州，校园集云山之神秀，汇珠水之灵气，是读书治学的理想园地。现有海珠校区、白云校区、番禺钟村农场，全日制在校本科生、研究生20000余人，拥有中国华南地区最大的雅思考点，是教育部在广州地区指定的两个TOEFL
IBT考点之一。

仲恺农业工程学院学科建设

截止到2015年，生物化工学科为省级优势重点学科，园林植物与观赏园艺、农产品加工及贮藏工程为省级特色重点学科。学校于2006年获得硕士学位授予权。

截止到2015年，有化学工程与技术、食品科学与工程、林学、植物保护等4个一级学科硕士学位授权点拥有20个二级学科硕士点，农业推广、风景园林、兽医3个专业学位类别(其中农业推广硕士专业学位含15个培养领域)。

截止2015年，拥有12个副高职称授权学科。分别为：

1、化学工程与技术 2、作物学 3、生物学 4、农林经济管理 5、植物保护 6、园艺学

7、林学 8、机械工程 9、食品科学与工程 10、 草学 11、环境科学与工程 12、畜牧学。

截止到2015年6月，学校具有高级专业技术职务专任教师423人，具有硕士学位以上专任教师的648人;现有十百千万人才工程第二层次人选1人，973首席科学家1人，广东省教学名师2人，广东省高校”千百十工程”省级培养对象12人，广东省高校优秀青年教师10人，珠江科技新星4人，省级科技创新团队1个，校级科技创新团队14个。

Brief introduction of Zhongkai Institute of Agricultural Engineering

Zhongkai Institute of Agricultural Engineering was founded in 1927. It is named after Mr. Liao Zhongkai, a great patriot, characterized by modern agricultural science, with the advantages of agriculture and engineering. The coordinated development of agriculture, engineering, science, economics, management, liberal arts, law and art serves the multi-disciplinary teaching and research type of regional economy and modern agriculture, and the provincial undergraduate memorial university with the right to grant master’s degree. Is the country’s first batch of outstanding agricultural and forestry personnel education and training program colleges and universities.

The school is located in Guangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city. The campus gathers the spirit of clouds and mountains and the aura of pearl water. It is an ideal place for reading and learning. The existing Haizhu Campus, Baiyun Campus and Panyu Zhongcun Farm have more than 20000 full-time undergraduates and graduate students. They have the largest IELTS test center in South China and are the two TOEFL designated by the Ministry of Education in Guangzhou.

Discipline Construction of Zhongkai Institute of Agricultural Engineering

By 2015, biochemical discipline is the provincial dominant key discipline, garden plants and ornamental horticulture, agricultural products processing and storage engineering are provincial characteristic key disciplines. The school was granted the right to grant a master’s degree in 2006.

By 2015, there are 4 master’s degree programs in chemical engineering and technology, food science and engineering, forestry and plant protection, with 20 master’s degrees in second-level disciplines. There are three professional degree categories: agricultural extension, landscape architecture and veterinary medicine (including 15 training fields for master’s degree in agricultural extension).

As of 2015, there are 12 disciplines authorized by the title of deputy high school. They are:

1. Chemical Engineering and Technology 2, Biology 3, Biology 4, Economic Management of Agriculture and Forestry 5, Plant Protection 6, Horticulture

7. Forestry 8, Mechanical Engineering 9, Food Science and Engineering 10, Grass 11, Environmental Science and Engineering 12, Animal Husbandry.

As of June 2015, the school had 423 full-time teachers with senior professional and technical positions and 648 full-time teachers with master’s degree or above. At present, there are 1 person at the second level of the 1 billion talent project, 1 chief scientist in 973, 2 famous teachers in Guangdong Province, 12 provincial training objects of the “Ten Ten Project” in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province, and 10 outstanding young teachers in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province. there are 4 science and technology new stars in the Pearl River, 1 provincial science and technology innovation team and 14 school-level science and technology innovation teams.
