西北工业大学航海学院简介

西北工业大学航海学院主要从事水中兵器、水下航行器、海洋工程等领域的科学研究和人才培养。其前身是1956年5月始建于西北工学院的第三机械系，1989年4月成立航海工程学院，2003年7月更名为航海学院。

师资力量

拥有教职工150余人，其中院士3人，国家教学名师1人，千人计划1人，陕西省教学名师2人，国务院学科评议组成员2人，国家级专家5人次，享受国务院政府特殊津贴6人，新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选2人，国防科工委511(学术技术带头人)3人，新世纪优秀人才计划9人。拥有长江学者创新团队1个、国防科技创新团队2个、国家级教学团队1个、陕西省教学团队3个。先后有40余人次荣获全国优秀教师、全国师德先进个人、中国青年科技奖、中国青年女科学家等国家级、省部级荣誉。

学科专业

现设机械工程与自动控制、电子与通信、声学与信息和环境工程4个系，以及航空声纳研究发展中心和水下航行器技术等9个中心、研究所;拥有机械设计制造及其自动化、能源与动力、探测制导与控制、电子信息、水声工程、信息对抗、环境工程等7个本科专业，兵器科学与技术、信息与通信工程等2个一级学科博士学位授予点，水声工程、船舶与海洋结构物设计、声学等6个二级学科博士学位授予点，18个硕士学位授予点;有“武器系统与运用工程”、“水声工程”等2个国家二级重点学科，“兵器科学与技术”、“船舶与海洋工程”、“信号与信息系统”3个国家一级学科及其博士后流动站。

平台条件

建有“水下信息与控制”国家级重点实验室和“声学工程与检测技术”国家专业实验室，以及高速水洞、大型消声水池、水下物理场仿真、水下动力推进、声与振动控制、导航与控制仿真中心等多个大型实验室。

教学成果

获国家优秀教学成果一等奖1项;拥有工信部实验教学示范中心1个、陕西省“水中兵器人才模式培养示范区”1个、国家精品课程3门、陕西省精品课程5门;出版专著和教材48部，其中10余部获国家及部级优秀教材奖。

人才培养

获“ 全国优秀 博士学位论文”6篇、“全国先进班集体标兵”
2个、“全国先进班集体”1个;毕业生中，有的成长为中国工程院院士、国家教学名师、长江学者、千人计划人才，有的荣获“全国十大杰出青年”、“全国劳动模范”等荣誉称号。

与美国、英国、法国、澳大利亚、俄罗斯美等国家的著名大学、研究院所建立了科技合作和人才联合培养关系，与俄罗斯国立海洋技术大学联合成立了“海洋科学与信息技术研究所”。

A brief introduction to the School of Navigation, Northwestern University of Technology

The Navigation School of Northwestern Polytechnic University is mainly engaged in scientific research and personnel training in the fields of underwater weapons, underwater vehicles, marine engineering and so on. Its predecessor is the third Department of Machinery, which was founded in May 1956 in Northwest Institute of Technology. The Institute of Navigation Engineering was established in April 1989, and its name was changed to the College of Navigation in July 2003.

Teachers’ strength

It has more than 150 teaching staff, including 3 academicians, 1 national teacher, 1 Thousand talents Plan, 2 teachers in Shaanxi Province, 2 members of the discipline evaluation team of the State Council, 5 national experts, 6 people enjoying the special allowance of the State Council, 2 national candidates for the 10 million talents project in the new century, 3 people from the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (academic and technological leaders), and 9 people from the Outstanding talents Program for the New Century. It has 1 Changjiang Scholar Innovation team, 2 National Defense Science and Technology Innovation team, 1 National Teaching team and 3 Shaanxi Teaching team. More than 40 people have won national, provincial and ministerial honors such as national excellent teachers, national advanced individual teachers, China Youth Science and Technology Award, Chinese young female scientists and so on.

Discipline and specialty

There are four departments of mechanical engineering and automatic control, electronics and communications, acoustics and information and environmental engineering, as well as nine centers and research institutes, including the Aeronautical Sonar Research and Development Center and underwater vehicle technology. It has 7 undergraduate majors in mechanical design and manufacturing and its automation, energy and power, detection guidance and control, electronic information, underwater acoustic engineering, information countermeasure and environmental engineering. 2 first-tier discipline doctoral degrees are awarded in weapons science and technology, information and communication engineering, underwater acoustic engineering, ship and marine structure design, acoustics, etc., and 18 master’s degrees are awarded. There are two national second-level key disciplines, such as “weapon system and Application Engineering” and “underwater Acoustic Engineering”, and three national first-level disciplines and their postdoctoral mobile stations, such as “weapon Science and Technology”, “ship and Ocean Engineering” and “signal and Information system”.

Platform condition

It has set up the national key laboratory of “underwater Information and Control” and the national professional laboratory of “Acoustic Engineering and testing Technology”. As well as high-speed water tunnel, large anechoic pool, underwater physical field simulation, underwater power propulsion, sound and vibration control, navigation and control simulation center and other large laboratories.

Teaching achievement

It has won one first prize for national excellent teaching achievements, one experimental teaching demonstration center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, one demonstration area for the training of underwater weapons talents in Shaanxi Province, 3 national high-quality courses and 5 high-quality courses in Shaanxi Province. forty-eight monographs and teaching materials have been published, of which more than 10 have won national and ministerial awards for excellent teaching materials.
