赤峰市第二中学

赤峰市第二中学是内蒙古自治区示范型普通高中、全国百强中学之一。该校位于赤峰市新城区玉龙大街西段，校园占地200余亩，建筑面积68000平方米，另有9000平方米的对外开放的体育馆，曾多次成功举办内蒙古自治区、赤峰市级别体育赛事。

硬件设施

赤峰市第二中学于2006年6月迁址赤峰市新城区，整个校园按照国家级示范中学的标准设计建设。设有教学区、运动区、生活区、休闲区。学校有9000平方米的篮球、排球、网球等运动场地，400米的国际标准田径运动场，以及功能齐全、设备先进的体育馆，曾于2014年成功举办内蒙古自治区第十三届运动会的部分赛事。[2]
学校内有现代化的物理、化学、生物实验室以及现代语言实验室和多媒体教室等。学校另有藏书量居内蒙古自治区前列的图书馆，藏书20余万册可供免费借阅 。

截至2014年，赤峰市第二中学共有特级教师5名，国家级骨干教师5名，自治区级学科带头人5人，自治区级骨干教师21名，市级学科带头人42名，自治区级教学能手16名，赤峰市级教学能手46名，教师队伍中研究生学历以上人数占教师总数的20%。

Chifeng No. 2 Middle School is a demonstration high school in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region and one of the top 100 middle schools in China. The school is located in the west section of Yulong Street, Xincheng District, Chifeng City. the campus covers an area of more than 200mu, with a construction area of 68000 square meters and an open gymnasium of 9000 square meters. It has successfully held sports events at the level of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region and Chifeng City for many times.

Hardware facilities

Chifeng No. 2 Middle School moved to the new urban area of Chifeng City in June 2006, and the whole campus was designed and built in accordance with the standards of the national model middle school. There are teaching area, sports area, living area and leisure area. The school has 9000 square meters of basketball, volleyball, tennis and other sports venues, a 400m international standard track and field field, and a fully functional and advanced gymnasium, which successfully held some events of the 13th Games of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region in 2014. The school has modern physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, as well as modern language laboratories and multimedia classrooms. The school also has a library with the largest collection of books in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region, with a collection of more than 200,000 books available for free.

In 2014, the school has a total of 63 classes in 6 grades of junior and senior high school, with more than 4300 students and 263 staff.

Teachers’ strength

As of 2014, Chifeng No. 2 Middle School had 5 special-grade teachers, 5 national backbone teachers, 5 autonomous district-level discipline leaders, 21 autonomous district-level backbone teachers, 42 municipal discipline leaders, 16 autonomous district-level teaching experts and 46 Chifeng city-level teaching experts. The number of teachers with graduate degrees or above accounts for 20% of the total.
