华中师范大学法学院简介

华中师范大学法学院是在原华中师范大学法学专业和法律系的基础上成立的。华中师范大学法学专业于1988年经国家教育部批准正式设立，是华中师范大学最早开设的非师范专业之一。

法学院现有法学、知识产权2个本科专业招收和培养全日制本科生，此外，还与本校经济与工商管理学院合作开设有法学-经济学交叉培养实验班进行交叉复合型本科人才培养。学院拥有法学一级学科硕士学位授予权，已经招生的硕士二级学科有经济法学、民商法学、诉讼法学、宪法与行政法学、刑法学、国际法学等6个。

学院设有法律硕士教育中心，是经国家学位办正式批准的全国法律硕士专业学位研究生培养单位，面向全国招收和培养法律硕士专业学位研究生。学院拥有“公共政策与法治”二级学科博士点，招收和培养博士研究生。

科研能力

学院的法学学科具有较高的学术水平和较强的科研能力，在法学界享有较高声誉，尤其是商法学科，依据有关部门的权威统计，2009-2011年华中师范大学法学院商法学科的核心科研能力名列全国法学院校第五位;2013年，学院的法学学科被评为湖北省省级一级重点学科。学院设有华中师范大学农村法律问题研究中心、知识产权研究所、商法研究中心、投资法律问题研究中心等学术研究机构。

师资力量

法学院拥有一支结构合理、规模适中、教学科研水平高的教师队伍。学院现有教职工44人，专任教师35人，其中教授15人、副教授10人，博士生导师7人，硕士生导师21人，长江学者特聘教授1人，教育部新世纪人才1人，国家知识产权首批领军人才1人，武汉市2014年度“黄鹤英才计划”1人，具有博士学位的教师达93.75%，近半数教师具有在美国、英国、德国、荷兰、中国台湾地区的海外(境外)长期访问交流的经历。学院教师具有较高的学术水平和较强的科研能力，多名教师获省部级及以上科研奖和教学奖，多位老师受各级国家机关邀请参与立法、司法和政策咨询工作。学院高度重视人才培养工作，强调学术研究与教学并重，理论与实践相结合，以高水平的科研成果为教学服务，已培养了6000余名毕业生，毕业生质量广受社会好评。目前在校学生人数近千人。

法学院现任领导班子为：名誉院长张新宝教授，院党委书记李克武教授，副院长丁文教授，副院长常健教授，院党委副书记曾艳梅，院长助理兼法硕中心主任文杰教授，院工会主席刘元璋副教授，院党政办公室主任张艳。

A brief introduction to the School of Law of Central China normal University

The Law School of Central China normal University was established on the basis of the former law major and law department of Central China normal University. The law major of Central China normal University was formally established in 1988 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is one of the earliest non-normal majors offered by Central China normal University.

At present, the Law School enrolls and trains full-time undergraduates majoring in law and intellectual property. In addition, it also cooperates with the School of Economics and Business Administration of the University to set up a cross-training experimental class of law and economics to train cross-compound undergraduate talents. The college has the right to grant a master’s degree in the first-tier discipline of law, and has enrolled students in six second-level disciplines, including economic law, civil and commercial law, procedural law, constitution and administrative law, criminal law, and international law.

The college has a master of law education center, which is a national law master’s degree training unit officially approved by the national degree office, recruiting and training law master’s degree postgraduates across the country. The college has a second-level doctoral program in Public Policy and the Rule of Law, which enrolls and trains doctoral students.

Scientific research ability

The law discipline of the college has a high academic level and strong scientific research ability, and enjoys a high reputation in the law field, especially the commercial law discipline. according to the authoritative statistics of the relevant departments, the core scientific research capability of the commercial law discipline of the Law School of Central China normal University ranked fifth in the national law colleges from 2009 to 2011; in 2013, the law discipline of the college was rated as a provincial-level key discipline in Hubei Province. The college has academic research institutions such as the Rural legal issues Research Center of Central China normal University, the intellectual property Research Institute, the Commercial Law Research Center, and the Investment Law Research Center.

Teachers’ strength

The law school has a team of teachers with reasonable structure, moderate scale and high level of teaching and scientific research. At present, the college has 44 faculty and 35 full-time teachers, including 15 professors, 10 associate professors, 7 doctoral supervisors, 21 master’s supervisors, 1 specially appointed professor of Yangtze River scholars, 1 new century talent of the Ministry of Education, 1 national intellectual property rights leader, 1 Wuhan Huanghe Talent Program in 2014, and 93.75% teachers with doctoral degrees. Nearly half of the teachers have long-term experience of overseas visits and exchanges in the United States, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands and Taiwan. College teachers have a high academic level and strong scientific research ability, a number of teachers have won provincial and ministerial level and above scientific research awards and teaching awards, and many teachers have been invited by state organs at all levels to participate in legislative, judicial and policy consulting work. The college attaches great importance to personnel training, attaches equal importance to academic research and teaching, combines theory with practice, and serves teaching with high-level scientific research achievements. It has trained more than 6000 graduates, and the quality of graduates has been widely praised by the society. At present, there are nearly a thousand students in the school.
