中国农业大学理学院由原应用化学学院、工程基础科学部、信息学院合并而成,下设应用学、化应用数学、应用物理、应用力学四个系。学院拥有农药学国家重点学科、国家理科基础科学研究和教学人才培养基地化学专业点(国家化学理科基地)、农业部农药化学及使用技术重点开放实验室、北京市实验教学示范中心(化学)、农业部农产品质量检验测试中心(北京)。其中化学系与北大化学专业为国家化学理科基地,我院拥有农业部重点实验室,其中农药学开创了中国农药学之先河,农药学为国家重点学科。理学院拥有东区逸夫楼、西区土化楼、新理学实验楼、药械与施药研究中心等楼群建筑。

中国农业大学理学院成立于2002年8月27日,由中国农业大学原应用化学学院、原工程基础科学部、原信息学院应用物理系普通组和计算机科学技术系数学组组成,分布在东、西两个校区,其中化学系及农药学国家重点学科硕士博士均在西区。

理学院下设四个科系:应用化学系、应用力学系,应用数学系和应用物理系,有应用化学、应用力学、

应用数学3个研究所。设应用化学、工程力学、数学三个本科专业;具有硕士学位授予点7个:农药学、农产品安全、分析化学、有机化学、固体力学、应用数学、运筹与管理;具有博士学位授予3个:
农药学、农产品安全、运筹于管理;与其他单位合办硕士授予点2个:生物物理、结构工程;合办博士授予点1个:车辆工程;设农药学博士后流动站1个;
国家“211工程”重点重点建设学科(农药学
)1个;农业部重点开放实验室1个;农业部农产品质量检验测试中心1个。学院现有本科生600人左右,硕士研究生120人,博士研究生60人。

师资力量

理学院师资力量雄厚,结构合理。理学院现有教职工171人,其中专职教师140人,教授30人,副教授65人,具有博士学位的教师约占70%,45岁以下教师约为77%;学院承担面向全校学生的化学、数学、物理和力学基础理论课的教学以及教学人才的培养任务的同时,还承担了国家科技攻关、国家自然科学基金、973、863计划及省部级和地方横向科研项目,取得丰硕的成果,多次获国家和省部级奖励;SCI论文在学校名列前茅,受到学校奖励。

理学院为全校开设数学、物理、化学、力学类本科生公共基础课47门,为本院开设专业课116门。2006年总标准学时为62834.5,是我校承担教学工作量最大的学院。

在教学工作中,学院特别强调两个并重与两个支撑,即公共课教学与专业课教学并重、教学与科研并重及专业课支撑公共课、科研支撑教学。同时学院强调高水平的教师为本科生上基础课,目前所有教授、博士生导师均开设本科生课程。

近5年学院主持教育部、北京市及学校的各类教改项目26项,发表教改论文百余篇,获国家级教学成果一等奖、二等奖各1项。

国际合作

学院注重国内外合作与交流,经常选派教师出国进修或者进行合作研究,并邀请外国专家来学院讲学。每年接受国内外访问学者、进修人员及时性研究人员上百人,与美国、英国、日本、德国等国家的大学及联合国粮农组织(FAO)等多个知名的国际机构有着密切的学术和信息交流关系。

科研工作

近5年主持973课题、
863课题、国家自然科学基金、“十五”攻关、国际合作及横向项目共260项;发表论文800余篇,其中被SCI、EI收录近300篇,2007年发表SCI、EI收录论文的数量名列学校各学院之首。

学科建设经费4510万元;出版专著和教材58部;申请发明专利29项,授权10项;成果鉴定7项;获得农药临时登记证的自主知识产权品种2个,完成新型施药机械产品2个。

获教育部科技进步一等奖1项、其它省部级二等奖2项。小麦化学杂交剂BAU-9403、手性农药环境行为、高效施药机具、系列微乳剂及微胶囊剂等研究达到国际先进水平。

人才培养

理学院设有农药学博士后流动站;农药学、农产品安全及运筹与管理3个博士点;数学、化学、力学3个一级学科硕士点;农药学、农产品安全、分析化学、有机化学、固体力学、应用数学、运筹与管理7个二级学科硕士点;化学、应用数学、工程力学三个本科专业。目前在校博士生73人,硕士生148人,本科生918人。

近几年学生创新能力及综合素质明显提高,有多名本科生、硕士生以第一作者发表了SCI收录论文,大多数博士生发表3篇以上SCI收录论文。

在全国大学生化学实验邀请赛、全国大学生数学建模赛、国际数学建模赛中取得了骄人的成绩。考研率、就业率位于学校前列。通过 “大学生村官”
、“红色1+1”等活动,学生的社会责任感明显增强。

A brief introduction to the School of Science of China Agricultural University

The School of Science of China Agricultural University is formed by the merger of the former College of Applied Chemistry, the Department of Engineering basic Sciences and the School of Information, and consists of four departments: applied Science, Chemical Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics and Applied Mechanics. The college has the national key disciplines of agropharmacy, the chemistry specialty point of the national science basic science research and teaching talent training base (national chemical science base), and the key open laboratory of pesticide chemistry and application technology of the Ministry of Agriculture. Beijing Experimental Teaching demonstration Center (Chemistry), Ministry of Agriculture Agricultural products quality Inspection and testing Center (Beijing). Among them, the Department of Chemistry and the chemistry major of Peking University are the national chemical science base, and our college has the key laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture, in which agropharmacy has created a precedent in Chinese agropharmacy, and agropharmacy is the national key discipline. The College of Science has a complex of buildings such as Yifu Building in the East District, Tuhua Building in the West District, New Science experiment Building, Pharmaceutical equipment and Drug Application Research Center, and so on.

The School of Science of China Agricultural University was established on August 27, 2002. it is composed of the former School of Applied Chemistry, the former Department of Engineering basic Science, the General Group of the Department of Applied Physics, and the Mathematics Group of the Department of computer Science and Technology of China Agricultural University. it is distributed in the eastern and western campuses, among which the master’s and doctorates of chemistry and national key disciplines of agropharmacy are in the western district.

The College of Science has four departments: applied Chemistry, Applied Mechanics, Applied Mathematics and Applied Physics, including Applied Chemistry, Applied Mechanics,

Set up three undergraduate majors of applied chemistry, engineering mechanics and mathematics; have 7 master’s degree awarding points: agropharmacy, agricultural product safety, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, solid mechanics, applied mathematics, operations and management; three doctoral degrees are awarded:

Agropharmacy, agricultural product safety, operation and management; two master’s degree awarding points with other units: biophysics and structural engineering; one doctoral award point: vehicle engineering; and one postdoctoral mobile station in agropharmacy.

One key open laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture and one quality inspection and testing center of agricultural products of the Ministry of Agriculture. The college now has about 600 undergraduates, 120 postgraduates and 60 doctoral students.

Teachers’ strength

The faculty of the College of Science is strong and the structure is reasonable. There are 171 faculty members in the College of Science, including 140 full-time teachers, 30 professors and 65 associate professors. Teachers with doctoral degrees account for about 70% and 77% of teachers under 45 years of age. While the college undertakes the teaching of basic theoretical courses of chemistry, mathematics, physics and mechanics for all students and the task of training teaching talents, it also undertakes the National Science and Technology Research Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, the 973,863 Program and the provincial and ministerial level and local horizontal scientific research projects. it has achieved fruitful results and won many national and provincial and ministerial awards; SCI papers are among the best in the school and are rewarded by the school.

The College of Science offers 47 public basic courses for undergraduates of mathematics, physics, chemistry and mechanics, and 116 professional courses for the college. The total standard class hours in 2006 is 62834.5, which is the largest teaching workload in our school.

In the teaching work, the college puts special emphasis on two equal emphasis and two supports, that is, equal emphasis on public course teaching and professional course teaching, equal emphasis on teaching and scientific research, and professional courses supporting public courses and scientific research supporting teaching. At the same time, the college emphasizes that high-level teachers provide basic courses for undergraduates. At present, all professors and doctoral supervisors offer undergraduate courses.

In the past five years, the college has presided over 26 teaching reform projects of the Ministry of Education, Beijing and the school, published more than 100 teaching reform papers, and won one national first prize and one second prize for teaching achievements.

International cooperation

The college pays attention to cooperation and exchanges at home and abroad, often sends teachers to study abroad or conduct cooperative research, and invites foreign experts to give lectures. Every year, there are hundreds of visiting scholars and advanced personnel at home and abroad, and have close academic and information exchange relations with universities in the United States, Britain, Japan, Germany and many well-known international institutions such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

In 2007, the number of papers published by SCI and EI ranked first among the colleges of the school.

The funding for discipline construction is 45.1 million yuan; 58 monographs and teaching materials are published; 29 invention patents are applied and 10 are authorized; 7 achievements are appraised; 2 varieties of independent intellectual property rights have been obtained with temporary registration certificates for pesticides, and 2 new types of pesticide application machinery products have been completed.

It won 1 first prize for scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Education and 2 second prizes at other provincial and ministerial levels. The research on wheat chemical hybrid agent BAU-9403, environmental behavior of chiral pesticides, efficient application equipment, series of microemulsions and microcapsules has reached the international advanced level.

Talent training

The College of Science has three postdoctoral programs in agropharmacy, three doctoral programs in agropharmacy, agricultural product safety and operations and management, three first-tier master’s degrees in mathematics, chemistry and mechanics, seven second-level master’s degrees in agropharmacy, agricultural product safety, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, solid mechanics, applied mathematics, operations and management, and three undergraduate majors in chemistry, applied mathematics and engineering mechanics. At present, there are 73 doctoral students, 148 master’s degree students and 918 undergraduate students.

In recent years, students’ innovative ability and comprehensive quality have been significantly improved. Many undergraduate and master’s degree students have published SCI papers as the first author, and most doctoral students have published more than 3 SCI papers.

It has made remarkable achievements in the National College students’ Chemistry experiment Invitational Competition, the National College students’ Mathematical Modeling Competition and the International Mathematical Modeling Competition. The examination rate and employment rate are in the forefront of the school. Through the “university student village official”
