宁波大学简介

宁波大学(Ningbo
University)，简称宁大，位于浙江省宁波市高教园区北区，是中华人民共和国教育部、浙江省、国家海洋局和宁波市共建的浙江省首批重点建设高校，教育部“卓越医生教育培养计划”“卓越农林人才教育培养计划”改革试点高校，国家“111计划”建设高校，是一所在改革开放中成长起来的新兴地方综合性大学。在学校创建和发展过程中，众多海内外“宁波帮”和“帮宁波”人士给予了大量帮助和广泛支持。

师资力量

截止2015年12月，学校现有教职工2600余名，其中教学科研人员1600余名。现有正高职称人员317名，副高职称人员719名，博士学位人员815名;中国科学院、工程院共享院士5名、加拿大两院院士1名，国务院水产学科评议组成员1名、国家“千人计划”专家5名，国家“百千万人才工程”
入选者7名、国家万人计划科技创新人才1名，长江学者特聘教授1名、国家杰出青年基金获得者2名、享受国务院特殊津贴者15名、教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选者14名、教育部优秀青年教师资助计划3名，国家、省级突出贡献专家12名，省特级专家1名、省千人计划4名、钱江学者特聘教授12名。

教学建设

截至2013年10月，学校拥有1门国家级精品公开视频课、5门国家精品课程、6个国家特色专业建设点、1个国家级实验教学示范中心、3项国家级双语教学示范课程建设项目和3本“十二五”首批普通高等教育本科国家级规划教材;获得了首批国家“卓越医生教育培养计划”。

科研成果

截至2013年10月，学校获得了国家科技进步二等奖5项，教育部自然科学一等奖、浙江省科学技术一等奖、浙江省哲社优秀成果一等奖等共12项;2012年获得国家自然科学奖二等奖1项。

Brief introduction of Ningbo University

Ningbo University (Ningbo

University), located in the north of Ningbo higher Education Park, Zhejiang Province, is the first batch of key universities in Zhejiang Province jointly built by the Ministry of Education of the people’s Republic of China, Zhejiang Province, the State Oceanic Administration and Ningbo City. It is a new local comprehensive university that has grown up in the course of reform and opening up. In the process of the establishment and development of the school, many “Ningbo gang” and “help Ningbo” people at home and abroad have given a lot of help and extensive support.

Teachers’ strength

As of December 2015, the school has more than 2600 teaching staff, including more than 1600 teaching and research personnel. At present, there are 317 senior professional titles, 719 deputy senior professional titles, 815 doctoral degree personnel, 5 shared academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 1 academician of the two Canadian academies, 1 member of the Fisheries discipline Review team of the State Council, 5 experts of the national “Thousand talents Plan”, and the national “10 million Talent Project”.

There are 7 candidates, 1 scientific and technological innovation talent of the National Ten Thousand talents Plan, 1 specially appointed professor of the Yangtze River scholars, 2 winners of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, 15 recipients of special subsidies from the State Council, 14 selected members of the Ministry of Education’s “Outstanding talents support Program for the New Century”, 3 excellent Young Teachers funding Program of the Ministry of Education, and 12 national and provincial outstanding contribution experts. There are 1 provincial special expert, 4 provincial Thousand talents Plan and 12 specially appointed professors of Qianjiang scholars.

Teaching construction

As of October 2013, the school has 1 national high-quality open video course, 5 national high-quality courses, 6 national specialty construction sites, 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center, 3 national bilingual teaching demonstration curriculum construction projects and 3 national undergraduate planning textbooks for general higher education during the Twelfth five-year Plan. Won the first batch of national “excellent doctor education and training plan”.

Scientific research achievements

As of October 2013, the school has won 5 second prizes for national scientific and technological progress, 12 first prizes for natural science of the Ministry of Education, first prize for science and technology of Zhejiang Province, first prize for outstanding achievements of Zhejiang philosophy Society, etc., and one second prize of National Natural Science Award in 2012.
