Functions of Meixian Education Bureau
1. Implement the state's educational principles, policies and regulations, study and draft local educational rules and regulations or detailed rules for implementation, and organize their implementation.

7. To organize and guide schools at all levels and types within the scope of management to carry out teaching research and educational reform, to solicit and distribute teaching materials and teaching reference materials, to be responsible for relevant management work, and to guide the educational management information and statistical work within the scope of management.
8. Work with relevant departments to manage the salary, welfare, job evaluation, job promotion and management of retirees of the system, and do a good job in the comprehensive management of public security, public security, and the investigation and handling of cases of violation of discipline in the system, coordinate and do a good job in the publicity and education of law and discipline between teachers and students.
9. To plan and guide the construction of teachers and educational administrative cadres of all levels and types of schools within the scope of management.
