东营市第二中学是东营市人民政府2000年3月批准成立的一所市直普通高级中学。学校先后荣获全国校园足球特色学校、全市心理健康教育特色学校,山东省依法治校先进学校、山东省英语特色教育重点实验学校、山东省青少年科技辅导员协会单位会员,市级教学质量优胜学校、市级文明校园、市级文明单位和全市教育系统先进集体及“2014年市直事业单位绩效考核A级单位”等20余项荣誉和称号。

办学规模

学校2006年9月迁入现址,坐落于东西城中心位置,位于东青高速公路以东,黄河路以北。学校占地面积355亩,建筑面积4万多平方米,建有教学楼2栋、图书楼1栋、科技楼1栋、餐厅1栋、师生公寓楼7栋。

新校确址于“生态新城”规划区内,位于东三路以西、海河路以北、水城路以南。新校占地约356亩,规划办学规模为100个教学班,5000名在校生,总建筑面积16.8万平方米,其中地上建筑面积15.5万平方米,地下建筑面积1.3万平方米。设计图书综合楼(含人防工程及地下停车场)1栋、教学楼3栋、实验楼2栋、艺术科技楼1栋、礼堂1栋、风雨操场1栋、食堂2栋、学生公寓6栋、教师公寓1栋,体育运动场2个。计划定于2016年9月整体迁入办学。

学校现有50个高中教学班,2600余名在校学生,教职工182人,其中专任教师145人(中学高级教师46人、中学中级教师77人),学历达标率100%;市级及以上优质课和精品课一等奖40人,市级及以上教学能手45人;全国优秀教师1人。43名教师入围东营市梯级教师培养队伍,首批市级名师工作室1个。

学校坚持“育人为本、成人成才”的德育理念
