肇庆医学高等专科学校

肇庆医学高等专科学校始建于1958年，前身为中山医学院肇庆分院，于2004年5月升格为肇庆医学高等专科学校，是广东省唯一一所独立建制的公办医学高等专科学校。

师资力量

据2014年12月学校官网显示，学院共有教学人员92名，其中专任教师80人，教辅人员8人。教学人员中高级职称有30人，其中教授1人、副教授13人;中级职称21人;初级职称9人。硕士学历有8人。具有“双师型”职称的教师有32人。

教学建设

2003年，护理专业被教育部等六部委确定为国家“紧缺人才培养培训”试点基地;2005年，护理专业被省教育厅遴选为广东省高职高专示范性建设专业;2006年，获国家财政资助的护理实训基地建设项目;2006年，获广东省财政重点资助护理实训基地建设项目。

教学成果

11月22日，由肇庆市总工会、肇庆市教科文卫工会主办的“肇庆市教科文卫工会第二届定向运动会”在广东省教职工定向运动活动基地—肇庆学院举行，荣获二等奖。

对外合作

据2014年12月学校官网显示，学院与香港理工大学护理学院合作，引进先进的护理教育改革思路;香港理工大学派遣师生到学校进行交流，并共同深入到农村，为少年儿童进行健康知识教育与指导。与台湾中山医学大学合作，邀请台湾的专家学者来校讲学，同时学校输送教师赴台进修学习。与澳门镜湖护理学院合作，选拔优秀应届毕业生赴澳门的医院进行临床实习。学校还与美国、加拿大、日本等国外多家院校和教育机构进行教育、学术、培训合作与交流。

学院荣誉

据2014年12月学校官网显示，学校先后被评为“广东省职业教育先进单位”、“教书育人先进集体”、“职业技术教育培训基地建设先进单位”、“国家紧缺(护理)人才培养培训试点基地”、“文明单位”、“文明校园”等荣誉称号。

校园环境

学校现有三个校区：端州校区、鼎湖校区和北校区。端州校区坐落在景色宜人的西江畔(端州区西江南路6号)，鼎湖校区毗邻国家4A级旅游风景区鼎湖山(鼎湖广利街道团结路)，北校区位于肇庆火车站西侧2公里外坑村(G321国道，肇庆大道)。总占地面积512亩，总建筑面积21万平方米。

Zhaoqing Medical College

Zhaoqing Medical College, formerly known as Zhaoqing Branch of Zhongshan Medical College, was founded in 1958 and upgraded to Zhaoqing Medical College in May 2004. it is the only independent public medical college in Guangdong Province.

Teachers’ strength

According to the school’s official website in December 2014, the college has a total of 92 teaching staff, including 80 full-time teachers and 8 teaching assistants. There are 30 middle and senior professional titles of teaching staff, including 1 professor, 13 associate professors, 21 intermediate titles and 9 junior titles. There are 8 people with master’s degree. There are 32 teachers with the title of “double-qualified”.

Teaching construction

In 2003, the nursing major was identified as the national “shortage personnel training and training” pilot base by the Ministry of Education and other six ministries; in 2005, the nursing major was selected as the demonstration construction major of higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province by the Provincial Department of Education; in 2006, the nursing training base construction project was funded by the state finance; in 2006, the nursing training base construction project was funded by Guangdong Province.

Teaching achievement

On November 22, the second orienteering Games of Zhaoqing Education, Science, Culture and Health Union, sponsored by Zhaoqing Federation of Trade unions and Zhaoqing Municipal Education, Culture and Health Union, was held in Zhaoqing College, the orienteering activity base of Guangdong Province, and won the second prize.

Cooperation with foreign countries

According to the school’s website in December 2014, the college cooperated with the School of Nursing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to introduce advanced ideas on nursing education reform. The Hong Kong Polytechnic University sent teachers and students to the school for exchanges and jointly went deep into the countryside to provide health knowledge education and guidance for children. In cooperation with Taiwan’s Sun Yat-sen Medical University, experts and scholars from Taiwan are invited to give lectures, and the school sends teachers to Taiwan for further study. Cooperate with Jinghu Nursing College of Macau to select outstanding fresh graduates to carry out clinical practice in hospitals in Macao. The school also carries out educational, academic and training cooperation and exchanges with many foreign universities and educational institutions such as the United States, Canada, Japan and so on.

College Honor

According to the school’s official website in December 2014, the school has been awarded the honorary titles of “Advanced Unit of Vocational Education in Guangdong Province”, “Advanced Collective of Teaching and Education”, “Advanced Unit of Vocational and Technical Education and training Base”, “National shortage (Nursing) personnel training pilot Base”, “civilized Unit”, “civilized Campus” and so on.

Campus environment

The school has three campuses: Duanzhou Campus, Dinghu Campus and North Campus. Duanzhou Campus is located on the bank of Xijiang River (No. 6 Xijiangnan Road, Duanzhou District). Dinghu Campus is adjacent to Dinghu Mountain, a national 4A tourist scenic spot (Dinghu Guangli Street Tuanjie Road). The north campus is located in Waikeng Village (G321 National Road, Zhaoqing Avenue) to the west of Zhaoqing Railway Station. It covers an area of 512mu with a total construction area of 210000 square meters.
