山西大学文学院简介

文学院是山西大学历史最悠久的院系之一，其历史可以追溯到1902年(清光绪二十七年)山西大学堂的中学专斋。

2001年中文系与古代文学研究所合并，组建了文学院。经过百年建设，文学院现已成为山西省语言文学类基础研究型人才和应用人才的培养基地。现设有汉语言文学、新闻学、汉语国际教育、戏剧影视文学和广告学五个本科专业，全日制在研究生一百多人。百年来，学院共培养了本科生和硕士研究生近7000人，为国家和山西地方经济建设做出了巨大的贡献。

学院前景

山西大学文学院与山西大学同龄，是山大历史最悠久的院系之一,
创办于清光绪二十七年(1901年)九月。其前身为山西大学堂中斋，由晋阳书院、令德堂书院合并而成，“登崇俊良、尊广道艺”是其最初之校训。新成立的文学院响亮地提出了两个奋斗目标：一、在省内成为文化产业开发的先锋军，为历史文化大省的建设、为山西经济发展做出贡献;二、在全国，跻身“双十强”，培养一批一流教授，占领学科高地。这个时期的院址先在文瀛湖畔之贡院，后移往侯家巷。2001年中文系与中国古代文学研究所合并，成立文学院。文学院在百馀年山大的发展历程中一直占有极为重要的地位，一大批国内著名学者，如黄侃、李亮工都曾在文学院执教。一百多年来，文学院和山西大学一样经历风雨，执着前行。中华人民共和国成立后，文学院的教学与学术研究获得了全新发展;改革开放后文学院的发展又上了一个台阶，形成了以国学为基础，以应用为发展目标的“山西省文化研究与传播人才培养基地”;进入二十一世纪以来，文学院各项事业获得飞速发展。今天，文学院在教学、科研和学科建设等方面已经基本成熟，形成了笃实深厚、开放活泼的总体风貌，是山西高校中文学科的标杆与旗帜。

院系设置

文学院下设4系2所1中心，即文学系、汉语言系、新闻系、戏剧影视系、古代文学研究所、方言研究所、比较文学与世界文学研究中心。共有汉语言文学、汉语国际教育、新闻学、广告学和戏剧影视文学5个本科专业。其中，中国古代文学、汉语言文字学、文献学具有硕士学位授予权，中国古代文学学科为省重点学科。

师资力量

文学院师资力量雄厚，学科设置完善，现建有古代文学研究中心、比较文学与世界文学研究中心、新文学研究中心，组织开展学术活动。并且具有中国古代文学、汉语言文字学、中国古典文献学、中国现当代文学、比较文学与世界文学、文艺学、民俗学、新闻学、传播学、广播电视艺术学、戏剧戏曲学、汉语国际教育专业硕士、新闻与传播专业硕士等13个学科的硕士学位授予权。其中，中国古代文学是山西省重点学科，汉语言文学专业是山西省本科品牌专业
。

全院现有教职工68人，专职教师56，其中教授14人，副教授20人，教师中有博士学位的7人。40岁以下的青年教师基本实现了硕士化。

本院教师承担了28部教材的编写任务，出版专著35部，多项研究在全国独树一帜。

办学条件

文学院办学条件优越，建有传媒实验室、影视观摩室、报纸编排系统实验室等实验教学场所，总面积500平方米，有价值260万元的各种实验设备。其配置可满足本院学生和教师进行摄像、摄影、编辑、观摩等教学、实验使用。资料室使用面积为130平方米，现有图书25963册，专业杂志350种，价值58万元;影像资料350余种;并有全省唯一的学生书库，有图书1671册，同时每年增补300余册。古代文学研究所有专业资料室，藏书二万余种。

A brief introduction to the School of Arts of Shanxi University

The College of Liberal Arts is one of the oldest departments of Shanxi University. Its history can be traced back to 1902 (the 27 year of Guang Xu of the Qing Dynasty).

In 2001, the Department of Chinese merged with the Institute of Ancient Literature to form the College of Arts. After a hundred years of construction, the College of Arts has become a training base for basic research and applied talents of language and literature in Shanxi Province. At present, there are five undergraduate majors in Chinese language and literature, journalism, Chinese international education, drama, film and television literature and advertising, with more than 100 full-time graduate students. Over the past hundred years, the college has trained nearly 7000 undergraduates and postgraduates, making great contributions to the local economic construction of the country and Shanxi.

College prospects

The School of Arts of Shanxi University is of the same age as Shanxi University and is one of the oldest departments of Shanxi University.

Founded in September of the 27 year of Guang Xu of the Qing Dynasty (1901). Its predecessor is Zhongzhai of Shanxi University, which is formed by the merger of Jinyang Academy and Ling de Tang College. “Deng Chong Junliang and respect Guang Taoyi” is its initial school motto. The newly established liberal arts college has loudly put forward two goals: first, to become the vanguard of the development of the cultural industry in the province, to contribute to the construction of a major historical and cultural province and to the economic development of Shanxi; and second, to become one of the “top ten” in the whole country. train a number of first-class professors and occupy the highland of the discipline. The site of this period was first in the tribute courtyard on the bank of Wenying Lake, and then moved to Houjiaxiang. In 2001, the Department of Chinese merged with the Institute of Ancient Chinese Literature to form the College of Arts. The College of Liberal Arts has played a very important role in the development of the University for more than a hundred years. A large number of famous domestic scholars, such as Huang Kan and Li Lianggong, have taught in the College of Arts. For more than a hundred years, the College of Arts has experienced the same ups and downs as Shanxi University. After the founding of the people’s Republic of China, the teaching and academic research of liberal arts colleges have achieved a new development; after the reform and opening up, the development of liberal arts colleges has reached a higher level, which is based on Sinology. “Shanxi Cultural Research and Communication Talent training Base” with application as the development goal; since the 21 century, various undertakings of the liberal arts college have developed rapidly. Today, the liberal arts college has basically matured in teaching, scientific research and discipline construction, forming a solid, profound, open and lively overall style, which is the benchmark and banner of Chinese subjects in Shanxi colleges and universities.

College and department setting

The College of Arts has four departments and two centers, namely, the Department of Literature, the Department of Chinese language, the Department of Journalism, the Department of Drama, Film and Television, the Institute of Ancient Literature, the Institute of dialects, and the Research Center for Comparative Literature and World Literature. There are 5 undergraduate majors in Chinese language and Literature, Chinese International Education, Journalism, Advertising and Drama Film and Television Literature. Among them, ancient Chinese literature, Chinese philology and philology have the right to grant master’s degrees, and ancient Chinese literature is a provincial key discipline.

Teachers’ strength

The faculty of the liberal arts college is strong, and the discipline setting is perfect. It now has the ancient literature research center, the comparative literature and world literature research center, and the new literature research center, and organizes and carries out academic activities. It also has the right to grant master’s degrees in 13 disciplines, including ancient Chinese literature, Chinese language philology, Chinese classical philology, modern and contemporary Chinese literature, comparative literature and world literature, literature and art, folklore, journalism, communication, radio and television art, drama drama, master of Chinese international education and master of journalism and communication. Among them, ancient Chinese literature is a key discipline in Shanxi Province, and Chinese language and literature major is an undergraduate brand major in Shanxi Province.

At present, there are 68 faculty members and 56 full-time teachers, including 14 professors, 20 associate professors and 7 teachers with doctoral degrees. Young teachers under the age of 40 have basically achieved a master’s degree.

The teachers of our college have undertaken the task of compiling 28 teaching materials and published 35 monographs, many of which are unique in the country.

Conditions for running a school

The liberal arts college has excellent conditions for running a school, with experimental teaching places such as media laboratory, film and television viewing room, newspaper arrangement system laboratory, etc., with a total area of 500m2 and various experimental equipment worth 2.6 million yuan. Its configuration can meet the needs of students and teachers in our college for teaching and experimental use, such as camera, photography, editing, observation, etc. The reference room covers an area of 130square meters, with 25963 books, 350 professional magazines, worth 580000 yuan, more than 350 kinds of video materials, and the only student library in the province, with 1671 books and more than 300 additional copies every year. The Institute of Ancient Literature has a professional reference room with a collection of more than 20,000 books.
