广东文理职业学院

广东文理职业学院是广东省人民政府批准成立，国家教育部备案，面向全国招收国家任务生的全日制普通高等院校，隶属省教育厅。

学院坐落在南海之滨的中国首批对外开放沿海港口城市、中国优秀旅游城市、北部湾新兴科技工业城市——湛江市，这里人文荟萃，景色美丽，交通便利，水陆空交通网络直通全国各地，是莘莘学子理想的求学圆梦之地。

千亩“生态园林式”校园

学院秉承“生态文理、人文文理、特色文理、品牌文理”的办学理念，专业群涵盖文学、理学、工学、经济学、管理学、法学等多个学科门类，设有人文系、财经系、管理系、外语系、艺术与传媒系、信息工程系、机电工程系、思政部、建筑工程学院、汽车学院、国际教育学院、继续教育学院、学院研究发展中心、区域经济发展研究中心、粤西文化研究中心、电子电器研发中心、茶学研究所、岭南红橙研究所等“七系一部四院四中心二所”，35个专业，64个方向。现有在校生7800人，成教在校生3600多人，教职员工728人，专任教师325人，“双师型”教师196名。正、副教授等高级专业技术职称教师占38%，博士、硕士学位教师占53%，师资队伍专业知识精、业务能力强、教学经验丰富，高素质、高学历、高职称，结构合理。近年来，聘请了30多名著名专家、教授为学院的特聘教授和学科带头人;引进了50多名知名度高的专家、教授为各专业课程带头人;培养了80多名基础扎实，教学水平高、科研能力强的中青年骨干教师，充实了教师队伍。已形成完整的适应国家与地方经济社会发展需要的人才培养体系。先后聘请美国、英国、加拿大的专职外籍教师从事教学和科研工作，每年邀请海内外专家、学者来校讲学交流，使教育教学充满活力，让学生拓展视野，提升文化涵养。

学院坚持以就业为导向，以职业能力培养为特色，培养高素质强本领的应用型高端人才。不断开拓办学思路，与国家级示范性院校结为战略联盟，加强对口交流与支持，努力打造人才培养的创新平台。学院致力推进校企合作，建有3个校办工厂和一大批校外实训基地，注重学生自主学习能力和实践动手能力的培养，注重提升学生的综合素质。不断加强学生职业能力训练，积极引导学生学以致用，提高专业实践能力。学院培养的学生专业基础知识扎实、实践动手能力强、综合素质高，富有敬业创新精神，特别在组织管理能力、协调沟通能力和语言表达能力等方面深受用人单位好评。学院的总体就业率达98%以上，部分毕业生已走上领导岗位，大部分成为大中型企业的骨干和技术支柱，成为各条战线上的排头兵和主力军。

学院秉承“以人为本，以德施教”的教育管理理念，2006年以来分别获得“全国文明单位”、
“军民共建社会主义精神文明先进单位”等国家级荣誉和“广东省文明单位”、
“广东省军民共建先进单位”、湛江市“安全文明校园”、“园林式单位”等荣誉，连年被省、市评为“社会治安综合治理先进单位”。

学院党、政、工、团组织健全，建立了完善的思想政治工作体系，重视在青年学生、骨干教师和管理干部中发展党员，党建工作取得优异的成绩。几年来，学院党委分别被广东省教育工委、湛江市委、湛江市直属工委评为“先进基层党组织”、“十佳基层党委”。学院注重学生管理工作，学生管理工作制度健全，拥有一支擅长管理、经验丰富的辅导员管理队伍。人民解放军广东省军区湛江陆军预备役高炮旅批准建立学院教导队，学院实行”全日制全住校”准军事化管理。多年来，校园秩序井然、读书学习蔚然成风、人文情怀浓郁、环境舒适安全，赢得“学在广东文理”的社会美誉。

学院充分汲取和利用国内外名校的优质教育资源，引进知名大学的专业和课程，实施多元化国际合作办学模式，跟澳大利亚昆士兰职业技术学院、马来西亚英迪国际大学、厄瓜多尔圣灵大学等国外知名院校签署了相互教育、学术交流的合作协议，同时跟加拿大汤姆逊河大学、澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学进行游学等交流的合作，为我院学生出国深造搭建了绿色通道。学院不断探索办学的新路子，积极为地方经济建设、科技进步和社会事业发展培养更多的高素质人才，努力办成有影响力的品牌院校。
