罗定职业技术学院

罗定职业技术学院是经广东省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案、由云浮市人民政府主办的公办全日制普通高等院校，其前身是创建于1928年的广东罗定师范学校，2001年5月升格为专科层次的综合院校。

学院坐落于西江南岸、粤西边陲的罗定市城区。校园环境优雅，文化底蕴深厚，人文氛围浓郁。学院开设有文化教育、电子信息、机械制造、财经、公共事业、艺术设计传媒、旅游和医疗卫生等八个职业门类共40多个专业。现有全日制在校生9900多人。学院自开办以来已为社会输送了20000多名毕业生，毕业生专业基础扎实，职业适应能力强，深受用人单位欢迎。

学院秉承“诚朴勤学”的优良传统，发扬艰苦奋斗，务实创新的办学精神，按照“基础教育与素质教育相结合、理论教育与实践教育相结合、专业教育与特色教育相结合”的育人理念，凝炼出“诚朴、勤学、砺能、求索”的校训，确立了“立足云浮，服务广东，面向中小企业和山区基础教育培养一专多能高素质技能人才”的办学定位。学院坚持“班子建设重团结、师资建设重团队、教学改革重内涵、专业建设重特色、人才培养重技能、学校管理重制度、校园建设重生态”的“七重”工作思路，遵循高职教育特点、规律，科学管理，依法治校。学院在教学实践中努力实现观念对接、知识对接和信息对接，实现毕业实习与就业工作紧密结合。

学院的办学凸显高职教育特点，强化实践教学环节，为学生获取“双证书”搭建平台。学院设立了“国家职业技能鉴定所”，是“云浮市南江文化研究中心”、“广东省社会科学普及示范基地”、“广东省中小企业培训示范基地”和“全国高校学生ISO9000内审员资格培训基地”，设有大学英语四六级考试、实用英语应用能力AB级考试、计算机高新技术水平考试、普通话水平测试、广东省音乐家协会考级委员会音乐考级(钢琴)、中国民族管弦乐学会考级委员会全国民族乐器古筝考级等多个考点，先后被上级有关单位评为“广东省语言文字工作先进单位”和“广东省社会科学普及先进示范基地”。

Luoding Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary university approved by the Guangdong Provincial people’s Government, filed by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Yunfu Municipal people’s Government. Its predecessor was Guangdong Luoding normal School, which was founded in 1928, and was upgraded to a comprehensive college at the junior college level in May 2001.

The college is located in the urban area of Luoding City on the south bank of the Xijiang River and the western border of Guangdong Province. The campus has an elegant environment, profound cultural heritage and rich humanistic atmosphere. The college offers more than 40 majors in eight professional categories, including culture and education, electronic information, machinery manufacturing, finance and economics, public utilities, art and design media, tourism and medical and health care. There are more than 9900 full-time students. Since its inception, the college has delivered more than 20000 graduates to the society. The graduates have a solid professional foundation and strong career adaptability, so they are very popular with employers.

Adhering to the fine tradition of “honesty and diligence” and carrying forward the school-running spirit of hard struggle, pragmatism and innovation, according to the educational concept of “the combination of basic education and quality education, theoretical education and practical education, professional education and characteristic education”, the college condensed the school motto of “honesty, diligence, ability and exploration”, and established the school motto of “based on Yunfu and serving Guangdong”. For small and medium-sized enterprises and basic education in mountainous areas to train high-quality talents with multiple abilities “. There are many test sites, such as CET-4 and CET-6, AB Test for practical English, computer High-tech Test, Putonghua proficiency Test, Music examination Committee of Guangdong musicians Association (Piano), National National Musical instrument Guzheng examination Committee of China ethnic Orchestra Society, and so on. It has been awarded as “Advanced Unit of spoken and written language work in Guangdong Province” and “Advanced demonstration Base for the Popularization of Social Sciences in Guangdong Province” by the relevant units at a higher level.
