萍乡三中

萍乡三中是江西省优质高中建设项目学校、江西省重点学校，国家奥林匹克教育示范学校。她有着八十年办学历史，有着优良的办学传统、辉煌的办学成就和丰厚的文化底蕴。学校拥有高素质的教师队伍，有高级教师107人，中级教师86人，市级以上学科带头人6人，特级教师1人，28名在读硕士研究生，56个教学班级，在校学生人数2630人，在职教职员工249人。

学校座落在繁华的市区中心，校园占地面积为120亩。建筑面积4万多平方米。教学楼、科技楼、学生公寓楼、图书馆等主要建筑布局合理;鱼池、广场、宣传栏、休闲花园等设施错落有致;标准的塑胶跑道田径运动场建设在校园的东面，整个校园绿草如茵，环境优雅，花园式的校园给师生提供了良好的工作、学习环境。

学校荣誉

2002年：该校被定为”江西少体育传统项目学校”称号。10月9日，该校被省确定为“省优质高中工程建设学校”。该校党总支被评为萍乡市党员电化教育先进单位，三中支部被评为2002年度先进支部。

2003年：省市中学生运动会在我市举行，该校获江西省中学生田径运动会团体总分第四名，市中学生田径运动会高中组总分第一名和道德风尚奖。
