宽甸教育局主要职责

(一)全面贯彻党和国家的教育方针、政策和法规，研究制定全国教育事业的具体方针、政策并组织实施。

(五)统筹管理本部门的教育经费;参与拟定教育经费筹措、教育贷款、教育收费和教育基建投资等方面的规章和办法;按照党中央、国务院和省国家确定的教育经费增长的原则，监测各区、县(国家)教育经费的筹措和使用情况，按有关规定对全国教育基本建设和局属教育事业单位经费及国有资产进行管理;指导全国教育系统内部勤工俭学和校办产业工作。

(六)负责全国各类学校网点布局规划调整工作，学校基建、校舍和校产及教育用地的管理。

(七)负责管理全国学历教育及考试工作。会同有关部门研究制定我国家各级各类学校招生计划。负责继续教育、成人自学考试、扫除青壮年文盲。

(八)负责管理并协调、指导教育系统的外事工作;负责具有大学以上学历出国留学人员的审核;负责协调同港、澳、台地区的教育交流。

(九)负责国家教育局机关和局属单位劳动工资、人事调配、编制管理及领导干部的考核、管理工作;指导全国教育系统思想政治工作和精神

文明建设。

(十)指导全国各级各类学校的思想品德教育、体育卫生艺术教育和国防教育工作。

(十一)组织和指导全国教育科研和教研工作;指导教育理论研究、教育学会工作。
