江西冶金职业技术学院简介

江西冶金职业技术学院是经江西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的集文、理、工、商等学科为一体的综合性全日制公办高等专科院校。江西冶金职业技术学院始建于1978年。

科研建设

学校先后两次被评为“全国职业教育先进单位”，是江西省教育系统“规范管理年”和“质量提升年”活动先进单位，荣获“首届中国(江西)十大职业教育培训品牌”，“江西省第一批高级技能人才培养示范基地”、“江西省最佳就业认同奖”、“全省职业教育工作先进单位”、江西省“全省绿化模范单位”

学术交流

学科建设

截至2009年，学校开设了冶金技术、数控技术、电气自动化、护理、学前教育等40多个专业;其中冶金技术专业是国家重点建设专业，数控技术应用、机电技术应用、电子商务是国家重点支持建设专业。

师资力量

截至2009年，学校有专兼职教师486人，其中正、副教授146人，讲师和一级实习指导教师185人。

教学建设

截至2009年，学院位于新余市仙女湖区，固定资产1亿多元，占地面积900多亩，建筑面积15万平方米，专业实验室、实训场所100多个，教学仪器设备价值6000多万元，图书馆藏书10余万册;拥有教学大楼6栋，职工宿舍楼5栋，学生公寓楼14栋，食堂6个，办公楼、图书馆、实验楼、影剧院、招待所各1栋(座);拥有可供2700名学生同时实训的5个大型生产实习厂房，各类专业实训教室52个。

　学院建校三十余年来，已为社会培养各级、各类专业技术人才五万余名，毕业生以过硬的专业技能深受社会赞誉!由于我院隶属冶金集团公司，品学兼优的毕业生可以分配在冶金系统工作，因而在就业上占有行业优势，就业质量和就业率在全国同类院校中均名列前茅。

学院始终坚持职业教育发展方向，依据冶金行业，基本形成了冶金技术，材料成型技术，机械制造与自动化，数控技术、机电一体化等名牌专业和具有冶金行业特色的学科体系，初步确立了“校企合作”的办学模式、“工学交替”的育人模式和“教、学、做”为一体的教学模式，先后为社会培养了大批普通高职毕业生，为冶金行业输送大量高、中级技术人才。
