内蒙古工业大学电力学院简介

内蒙古工业大学电力学院创办于1994年1月，是由内蒙古电力(集团)有限责任公司和内蒙古工业大学联合创办的一所普通高等学校。学院立足电力，面向社会办学，开展本科、专科、硕士研究生各层次的普通高等学历、成人学历教育和继续教育，为内蒙古自治区经济建设和社会发展，特别是为电力能源工业培养输送高级专门人才，做出了积极贡献。

学院教学、科研工作稳步发展，积极走产、学、研相结合之路，有6项科研项目在电力企业得到应用并已取得很好的经济效益和社会效益。学院为内蒙古自治区和电力工业培养输送了大批高级专业技术人才，已经形成了培养电力工业人才的强大基地。在新的世纪里，迎接挑战，与时俱进为建设一流的电力高等学校而努力奋斗。学院于2005年10月正式归入内蒙古工业大学。并且成为内蒙古工业大学一个校区—-金川校区。

系部设置

目前，电力学院有3个系(电力工程及其自动化系、风能与动力工程、自动化系)、5个行政部门(学院办公室、学生工作办公室、教务中心)、75名教职员工和1950多名在校生，全日制研究生近200名。

学科建设

学院现有电气工程及其自动化.自动化2个4年制本科专业和电气工程及其自动化硕士点，以及电气工程及其自动化、热能与动力工程2个专科专业。其中，电气工程及其自动化专业在栗文义教授的带领下，该专业被评为首批“自治区品牌专业”，并被授予自治区重点学科，并于2009年被列为“第四批高等学校特色专业建设点”。学院师资力量雄厚，梯队结构合理，现有教授5人，副教授16人，硕士生导师10人，教师队伍中，具有硕士及以上学位的有28人。学院设施先进，现已建成继电保护仿真、蒙西电网仿真、220KV变电站仿真、330MW和200MW发电机组仿真等5个实验实习培训基地。

The College of Electric Power of Inner Mongolia University of Technology, founded in January 1994, is an ordinary university jointly established by Inner Mongolia Electric Power (Group) Co., Ltd and Inner Mongolia University of Technology. The teaching and scientific research work of the college has developed steadily, and has actively taken the road of combining production, learning and research. Six scientific research projects have been applied in electric power enterprises and have achieved good economic and social benefits. The college has trained a large number of senior professional and technical personnel for the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region and the electric power industry, and has formed a strong base for training talents in the electric power industry. In the new century, we should meet the challenges and keep pace with the times to build a first-class electric power university. The college was officially incorporated into Inner Mongolia University of Technology in October 2005. And become a campus of Inner Mongolia University of Technology-Jinchuan campus.

Department setting

At present, the Institute of Electric Power has 3 departments (Department of Electric Power Engineering and Automation, Department of Wind Energy and Power Engineering, Department of Automation), 5 administrative departments (College Office, Student work Office, Educational Administration Center), 75 faculty members and more than 1950 students, and nearly 1950 full-time graduate students.

Discipline construction

The College has existing electrical engineering and its automation. There are two 4-year undergraduate majors in automation and a master’s degree in electrical engineering and automation, as well as two specialties in electrical engineering and automation, thermal and power engineering. Among them, the major of electrical engineering and automation, under the leadership of Professor Li Wenyi, was awarded as the first batch of “Autonomous region Brand Specialty” and was awarded the key disciplines of the Autonomous region. and in 2009 was listed as the “fourth batch of characteristic professional construction points of colleges and universities”. The faculty of the college is strong, and the echelon structure is reasonable. There are 5 professors, 16 associate professors, 10 master’s degree supervisors and 28 teachers with master’s degree or above. The college has advanced facilities and has built five experimental training bases, such as relay protection simulation, Mengxi power grid simulation, 220KV substation simulation, 330MW and 200MW generator set simulation.
