黄河水院简介

黄河水利职业技术学院，坐落于历史文化名城、中国优秀旅游城市开封，是首批28所国家示范性高等职业院校之一。

学院始建于1929年3月，原名河南省建设厅水利工程学校，创办人为著名人士张钫，首任校长陈泮岭。1931年6月，升格为河南省立水利工程专科学校。1942年5月，升格为国立黄河流域水利工程专科学校。1958年11月，升格为黄河水利学院。1961年9月，改建为黄河水利学校。1998年3月，改制为黄河水利职业技术学院。

办学力量

学院占地面积1400多亩，建筑面积48万平方米，职业氛围浓厚、教育设施先进、校园风景优美。开辟校内实验、实训场地255亩，拥有各类校内实验、实训场馆187个。

在80多年的沧桑变幻中，黄河水院走出了10万多名高技能优秀人才，活跃在祖国的大河上下、大江南北，他们中的大多数已成为所在行业的骨干力量，有的还成为了著名专家、学者和领导干部。水利部原部长杨振怀赞誉学院为“黄河技干摇篮”。

学校现有教职工908人，其中专任教师727人，教授
、副教授191人，博士、硕士473人，享受国务院特殊津贴教师、国家教学名师、河南省教学名师、全国水利职教名师等47人，国家级教学团队2支。在校全日制专科生18600余人、成人教育学生2000人。拥有12个
院(系)，开设水利、测量、土木、机电、旅游等66个专业，其中国家级精品专业1个，国家级教学改革试点专业2个，国家重点建设专业5个，省级示范名牌专业16个，拥有国家级精品资源共享课程13门，是河南省国家级精品资源共享课程最多的高校。

合作交流

学院联合81家水利企事业单位和13所水利高职院校，以中国水利职教协会和黄河水院为依托成立了中国水利职业教育集团，搭建了校企合作管理平台。学院与500多家企事业单位合作，形成了校企合作、工学结合的长效机制，为毕业生就业提供了广阔的舞台。

Brief introduction of Yellow River Water Institute

The Yellow River Water Conservancy Vocational and Technical College, located in Kaifeng, a famous historical and cultural city and an excellent tourist city in China, is one of the first 28 national demonstration higher vocational colleges.

The college was founded in March 1929, formerly known as Henan Province Construction Department Water Conservancy School, founded by a famous person Zhang Kui, the first president Chen Panling. In June 1931, it was upgraded to Henan Provincial hydraulic Engineering College. In May 1942, it was upgraded to the National College of hydraulic Engineering in the Yellow River Basin. In November 1958, it was upgraded to the Yellow River Institute of Water Conservancy. In September 1961, it was rebuilt into Yellow River Water Conservancy School. In March 1998, it was transformed into Yellow River Water Conservancy Vocational and Technical College.

School-running strength

The college covers an area of more than 1400 mu, with a construction area of 480000 square meters, with a strong professional atmosphere, advanced educational facilities and beautiful campus scenery. Open up 255 mu of experimental and training venues on campus, with 187 experimental and training venues of all kinds.

In the vicissitudes of life of more than 80 years, the Yellow River Water Institute has emerged more than 100000 high-skilled talents, active in the big rivers of the motherland, north and south, and most of them have become the backbone of their industry. some have also become famous experts, scholars and leading cadres. Yang Zhenhuai, former minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, praised the college as the “cradle of the Yellow River technical stem”.

Teachers’ strength

The school has 908 faculty members, including 727 full-time teachers and professors.

There are 191 associate professors, 473 doctors and masters, 47 teachers who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council, national teachers, Henan teachers, national water conservancy vocational teachers, etc., and 2 national teaching teams. There are more than 18600 full-time junior college students and 2000 adult education students. Have 12.

Colleges (departments) offer 66 majors such as water conservancy, surveying, civil engineering, mechatronics, tourism, etc., including 1 national high-quality major, 2 national teaching reform pilot majors, 5 national key construction majors, 16 provincial demonstration brand-name majors, and 13 national high-quality resource sharing courses. it is the university with the largest number of national high-quality resource sharing courses in Henan Province.

Cooperation and communication

Jointly with 81 water conservancy enterprises and institutions and 13 water conservancy higher vocational colleges, the college has established the China Water Conservancy Vocational Education Group and set up a school-enterprise cooperation management platform based on the China Water Conservancy Vocational Education Association and the Yellow River Water Institute. The college cooperates with more than 500 enterprises and institutions to form a long-term mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation and the combination of work and learning, which provides a broad stage for the employment of graduates.
