安徽省淮南第四中学，始建于1976年，坐落在舜耕山下，学校环境优美，师资雄厚，人文荟萃，校风淳朴，2000年被评为淮南市示范重点中学,2008年4月被安徽省教育厅正式批准为“省示范高中”。

目前学校拥有新建成的400米塑胶标准体育运动场地、足球场、蓝排球、网球、羽毛球、风雨操场、器械训练场馆等现代化的体育设施，更给四中平添了一道亮丽的风景，其建设的标准和使用功能在全市堪称一流。学校现有学生宿舍9500平米，生均住宿面积6平米以上，有能同时容纳600名师生同时就餐的新建食堂，学校还有实验室、图书室、教师阅览室、音乐室、美术室等，有力地保障着各项教学教研活动的正常进行。

Huainan No. 4 Middle School in Anhui Province, founded in 1976, is located at the foot of Shun Geng Mountain.
