武汉市农业学校简介

武汉市农业学校创建于1978年，位于武汉市西大门的东西湖区走马岭，校园面积165亩，建筑面积五万平方米，藏书13万册，高级讲师36人，是武汉市政府授予的“师德建设先进集体”、“科技兴农先进单位”、“职业教育先进集体”等，二十三年来己培养毕业生一万多人。1991年被评为国家级重点中等A级学校。开办的专业有园艺、园林规划设计与施工、园林花卉、畜牧与饲料加工、畜牧兽医、计算机网络技术、计算机及应用。其中园艺专业为市级重点专业，畜牧兽医为省级重点专业。

漫步农校校园，这里处处展现给人们的是现代都市农业的“新概念”。不必说那绿树掩映、花团锦簇的校园之秀，不必说那晨曦伴着朝霞莘莘学子朝读之美，去看一看那里的供教学实习之用的花园吧，金盏菊、一串红、紫罗兰、兰花、月季，300多个品种的鲜花，在灿烂的阳光下绽放出五彩缤纷的颜色。园艺专业是学校的特色骨干专业之一，学生们在这里打造着绿叶与鲜花的事业，将来服务于武汉市的山水园林城市建设，服务于都市人的生态需要。再看一看那些在特禽动物养殖场里喂养着的可爱的小动物有，珍珠鸡、七彩山鸡、贵妃鸡、鸽子、鹌鹑，叫叫嚷嚷、挤挤撞撞，一片热闹。这些是学校畜牧兽医专业的专业教学成果，园了多少年来学习一技之长的农户们的发家之梦，也让饲养宠物的城里人大开眼界。

规模在全国农业中专校办鸡场名列前茅的校实验蛋鸡场，现代化的鸡舍、一流的饲料加工设备，为专业师生练兵习武提供了充足的保障。

A brief introduction to Wuhan Agricultural School

Wuhan Agricultural School, founded in 1978, is located in Zoumaling, Dongxihu District, the west gate of Wuhan City. It has a campus area of 165mu, a construction area of 50, 000 square meters, a collection of 130000 books and 36 senior lecturers. It is awarded by Wuhan Municipal Government as “Advanced Collective of Teachers’ moral Construction”, “Advanced Unit of promoting Agriculture through Science and Technology”, “Advanced Collective of Vocational Education” and so on. It has trained more than 10, 000 graduates in the past 23 years. In 1991, it was rated as a national key secondary school. The specialties are horticulture, garden planning, design and construction, garden flowers, animal husbandry and feed processing, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, computer network technology, computer and application. Among them, horticulture is a municipal key major, and animal husbandry and veterinarian is a provincial key major.
