济宁职业技术学院是2000年10月经山东省人民政府批准成立的全日制国办普通高等职业院校，坐落在儒家文化发源地孔孟之乡、礼仪之邦的山东省济宁市区。地理位置优越，人文底蕴深厚。绿树成荫，环境优雅，是读书求知的理想境地。

学院现有教职工647人，专任教师348人，教授、副教授173人，博士、硕士309人。217名企业工程师、技师担任兼职教师。全日制在校生11650人，成人教育、远程开放教育在校生3000余人。学院占地955亩，建筑面积31万平方米，固定资产总值3.9亿元。

Jining Vocational and Technical College is a full-time state-run higher vocational college established with the approval of the people’s Government of Shandong Province in October 2000. it is located in the urban area of Jining, Shandong Province, the birthplace of Confucian culture, Confucius and Mencius. The geographical location is superior and the cultural heritage is profound. With shady trees and elegant environment, it is an ideal place for reading and seeking knowledge.

The college now has 647 staff, 348 full-time teachers, 173 professors and associate professors, 309 doctors and masters. 217 enterprise engineers and technicians serve as part-time teachers. There are 11650 full-time students and more than 3000 students in adult education and distance open education. The college covers an area of 955 mu, with a construction area of 310000 square meters and a total fixed assets of 390 million yuan.

In the course of running higher vocational education, the college adheres to the development strategy of “quality institute, characteristic development institute, talent strengthening institute, cultural casting institute, high-quality construction institute”, and establishes the school-running orientation of “based on Jining, serving Lunan, centering on the leading industries such as equipment manufacturing and biotechnology, training production, construction, service and management front-line high-end technical and skilled professionals”, and practicing the school motto of “Zongde is capable”.
