广州美术学院图书馆简介

广州美术学院图书馆前身为中南美术专科学校图书馆，中南美术专科学校成立于1953年
，校址设在武汉市。1958年举校搬迁至广州现址，改名为广州美术学院，图书馆亦随之改为现名。

经过50年的发展变化，图书馆馆舍不断扩大,现有馆舍总面积达1.5万平方米，其中昌岗校区馆舍面积4000平方米，五层独立建筑，大学城校区馆舍面积1.1万平方米.总阅览座位1440个。全馆供师生查询和使用的终端工作站110台，其中昌岗路馆拥有50台，大学城馆拥有60台。

在馆藏方面，主要以收藏美术专业理论、技法书籍、画册、美术期刊及历代书画珍品为馆藏特色。这些资料在数量、质量、门类上都已形成了自已的特色与体系。到目前为止，全馆纸质文献资源总量约32.7万册,其中图书27.49万册，期刊合订本约2.8万册，仿真印刷品、拓片等1034件，宣传画邮票等藏品1.3万件，线装书等古旧书约0.79万册，收藏教师和校友著作及画册1664种，1784册。电子图书约12.9万册，中国学术期刊全文数据库等各类型数据库13个。艺术类图书占总馆藏58.08%，社科人文类图书占总馆藏41.92%。

服务项目

文献借阅服务

提供中外文图书(包括纸质图书和电子图书)借出馆外阅读的服务;提供中外文报刊、样本图书、工具书刊以及非书资料(样本)就室阅览(允许办理复印手续)的服务。

信息咨询服务

主要内容包括解答读者咨询、帮助读者利用本馆信息资源;提供本馆印刷型和电子型信息资源检索服务。

技术服务

利用各种技术设备，为读者提供多媒体资料、视听资料阅读与拷贝、复录以及打印、复印、过塑等服务。(大学城校区馆在三楼文印室办理)

Web信息服务

提供本馆馆藏目录检索服务;利用图书馆网页,提供读者借阅查询及新书通报;电子资源服务;解答读者网上咨;接受读者意见和建议;公告信息的发布等。

Brief introduction to the Library of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts

The library of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts was formerly known as the Library of Central South Academy of Fine Arts, which was established in 1953.

The school is located in Wuhan. In 1958, the school moved to the current site of Guangzhou and changed its name to Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and the library also changed its current name.

After 50 years of development and changes, the library building continues to expand, the total area of the existing library building is 15000 square meters, of which the Changgang campus building area is 4000 square meters, the five-story independent building, and the university city campus building area 11000 square meters. There are 1440 seats in total. There are 110 terminal workstations for teachers and students to inquire and use, of which 50 are Changgang Road Pavilion and 60 are University City Pavilion.

In the aspect of collection, it is mainly characterized by the collection of professional theories of art, books of techniques, picture books, art periodicals and treasures of calligraphy and painting of previous dynasties. These materials have formed their own characteristics and systems in terms of quantity, quality and categories. So far, the total volume of paper literature resources in the library is about 327000, including 274900 books, 28000 bound periodicals, 1034 simulation prints, rubbings, 13000 posters, stamps and other collections, and about 7900 ancient books such as thread-bound books. collect 1664 kinds of works and picture albums of teachers and alumni, 1784 copies. There are about 129000 e-books and 13 databases of various types, such as the full-text database of Chinese academic journals. Art books account for 58.08% of the total collection, and social sciences and humanities books account for 41.92% of the total collection.

Service Items

Literature lending service

Provide services for lending out-of-library reading of Chinese and foreign language books (including paper books and e-books); provide services for reading Chinese and foreign language newspapers and periodicals, sample books, tool books and non-book materials (samples) in the room (photocopying is allowed).

Information consulting service

The main contents include answering readers’ inquiries, helping readers to make use of the library’s information resources, and providing printed and electronic information resources retrieval services.

Technical service

The use of a variety of technical equipment to provide readers with multimedia materials, audio-visual materials reading and copying, copying and printing, photocopying, over-plastic and other services. (the campus pavilion of the university town is handled in the printing room on the third floor)

Web information service

Provide library catalogue retrieval service; make use of the library web page to provide readers with borrowing inquiry and new book notification; electronic resources service; answer readers’ online consultation; accept readers’ opinions and suggestions; release announcement information, etc.
