重庆医科大学自2000年开办护理学专业专科教育,2001年成立护理系开办护理学专业本科教育,2003年获批二级学科硕士学位授权点,2006年6月护理学院成立并获批二级学科博士学位授权点,2011年护理学获批一级学科博士学位授权点、重庆市“十二五”重点学科,2012年获批博士后科研流动站。

学院自成立以来,依托半个多世纪的深厚历史积淀,秉承“以人为本、能力为先、国际视野、服务社会”的办学理念,开拓创新谋发展,凝心聚力育人才。目前,学院已成为护理学国家级高等学校特色专业建设点、重庆市高校人才培养模式创新实验区、重庆市高职高专教育示范专业,集博士、硕士、本科、专科等所有护理专业办学层次于一体、熔院校护理学教育、毕业后护理学教育、继续护理学教育、中外合作办学等各类办学形式于一炉的国内最大护理学教育基地之一。

学院在中国科学评价研究中心《2011年本科教育护理学专业排行榜》的145所院校中名列第一,在2012年教育部学位与研究生教育发展中心开展的第三轮学科评估中名列前茅。学院以“造就引领未来的护理从业者、研究者和领导者”为人才培养目标,广纳青年才俊,悉心雕琢人才,致力于护理学专业办学模式和护理人才培养模式的改革,“护理人才培养新模式的研究与实践”课题获得高等教育国家级教学成果二等奖,2012年当选为全国高等教育医学教育学会护理教育分会第四届理事会常务理事单位,2013年获批教育部地方高校第一批本科专业综合改革试点专业。

建院以来,学院向各级医院输送高等护理人才1万2千余人,多名本科毕业生到英国、澳大利亚等国家攻读护理硕士学位,形成毕业生遍布重庆、辐射西南、面向全国、走向世界的新格局。各届毕业生一次性就业率达99%以上,用人单位对毕业生综合素质满意率为99.5%。

学院位于重庆医科大学附属第一医院内,实行院校一体化管理。院长由重庆医科大学附属第一医院院长兼任,临床护理各教研室负责人由医院临床科室教授、护士长兼任,所有专业课教师均为现任或曾任临床一线优秀护理骨干,具有得天独厚的办学优势。

学院重视实践教学,拥有设施先进、总面积达3710平方米的“护理实验教学中心”(重庆市高等学校唯一护理学实验教学示范中心)和重庆医科大学6所附属医院在内的29个教学实习基地医院,重庆市急诊急救等7个专科护士培训基地也设在护理学院。

学院拥有一支教学经验丰富、临床技术精湛、治学严谨、年富力强的双师型教师队伍,由来自附属医院临床一线的医生、护理骨干和护理学院的教师共同组成。现有护理教师114人,其中高级职称42人,占36.84%;具有博士和硕士学历学位的28人,占24.56%;年龄≤45岁的教师占66.66%。护理学专业拥有博士生导师3人,硕士生导师25人,国家及重庆市自然科学基金评审专家3人,重庆市学术技术带头人及后备人选6人。部分教师在全国高等医学教育学会、中华医学会及中华护理学会担任学术职务,多名教师是《中华护理杂志》、《中国护理管理》、《中华护理教育》、《中国实用护理杂志》等杂志的编委或审稿专家。近年来,教师在核心期刊和统计源期刊发表护理论文400余篇、护理SCI文章5篇,参编护理教材、专著15部,承担各级各类科研项目90余项,获省部级科技奖3项。

学院坚持护理专业教育国际化理念,致力于搭建人才国际化培养平台。每年选派优秀教师参与国际交流项目、出席国际护理学术会议,积极拓展国际视野。近年来,已与美国、澳大利亚、加拿大等国家多所大学合作办学,实施了师生交换等教育项目,为造就国际化护理人才开拓了广阔前景。

学院以真情回馈社会,在服务中获得更大发展。作为重庆市护理学教育的龙头院校,近年来举办各类专科护士培训班20多期,各种继续护理学教育培训、护理教育研讨会10余次,接待国际、国内医学院校护理专业来院学习交流200多人次,组织志愿者社区护理服务3000多人次,为推进西部地区和全国护理教育发展作出了积极贡献。

Chongqing Medical University has set up nursing education since 2000, established nursing department in 2001 to offer undergraduate nursing education, approved second-level discipline master’s degree authorization point in 2003, nursing college established and approved second-level discipline doctorate authorization point in June 2006, nursing approved first-level discipline doctorate authorization point in 2011, Chongqing “12th five-year Plan” key disciplines, and approved postdoctoral research mobile station in 2012.

Since its establishment, the college has relied on more than half a century of profound historical accumulation, adhering to the school philosophy of “people-oriented, ability first, international vision, and serving the society”, pioneering and innovating and striving for development. At present, the college has become the construction point of characteristic specialty in national colleges and universities of nursing, the innovative experimental area of talent training mode in colleges and universities in Chongqing, and the demonstration major of higher vocational education in Chongqing. It is one of the largest nursing education bases in China, which integrates all nursing majors such as doctor, master, undergraduate and junior college, nursing education in colleges and universities, post-graduation nursing education, continuing nursing education, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, etc.

The College ranked first among 145 colleges and universities in the 2011 ranking of undergraduate Education Nursing majors of the China Science Evaluation Research Center, and ranked first in the third round of discipline evaluation conducted by the degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education in 2012. The college takes “bringing up nursing practitioners, researchers and leaders leading the future” as the talent training goal, recruiting young talents and carefully carving talents. It is committed to the reform of the school-running mode and training mode of nursing talents. The topic “Research and practice of the New Mode of Nursing Talent training” won the second prize of national teaching achievements in higher education. In 2012, he was elected as the executive member of the fourth Council of the Nursing Education Branch of the National Medical Education Association of higher Education. In 2013, he was approved by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of pilot majors for comprehensive reform of undergraduate majors in local colleges and universities.

Since its establishment, the college has sent more than 12,000 advanced nursing talents to hospitals at all levels, and a number of undergraduate graduates have studied for master’s degrees in nursing in Britain, Australia and other countries, forming a new pattern in which graduates spread all over Chongqing, radiate southwest, face the whole country, and go to the world. The one-time employment rate of graduates of each class is more than 99%, and the satisfaction rate of employers to the comprehensive quality of graduates is 99.5%.

The college is located in the first affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and implements the integrated management of colleges and universities. The dean is concurrently appointed by the dean of the first affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and the person in charge of each clinical nursing department of the hospital is the professor of the clinical department and the head nurse of the hospital. all professional teachers are or have served as excellent nursing backbone of clinical frontline. It has a unique advantage in running a school.

The college attaches importance to practical teaching, with advanced facilities and a total area of 3710 square meters of the “Nursing Experimental Teaching Center” (the only nursing experimental teaching demonstration center in Chongqing colleges and universities) and 29 teaching practice hospitals, including 6 affiliated hospitals of Chongqing Medical University. Chongqing emergency and other 7 specialist nurse training bases are also located in the nursing college.

The college has a team of double-qualified teachers with rich teaching experience, excellent clinical skills, rigorous scholarship and young age, which is composed of doctors from the clinical front line of affiliated hospitals, nursing backbone and teachers from nursing colleges. There are 114 nursing teachers, including 42 senior professional titles, accounting for 36.84%; 28 with doctoral and master’s degrees, accounting for 24.56%; and teachers aged less than 45 years old accounting for 66.66%. There are 3 doctoral supervisors, 25 master’s degree supervisors, 3 national and Chongqing natural science fund evaluation experts, and 6 academic and technical leaders and reserve candidates in Chongqing. Some teachers hold academic positions in the National Association of higher Medical Education, the Chinese Medical Association and the Chinese Nursing Association. Many teachers are editors or reviewers of magazines such as Chinese Journal of Nursing, Chinese Nursing Management, Chinese Nursing Education, Chinese Journal of practical Nursing and so on. In recent years, teachers have published more than 400 nursing papers and 5 nursing SCI articles in core journals and statistical journals, edited 15 nursing textbooks and monographs, undertaken more than 90 scientific research projects at all levels, and won 3 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.

The college adheres to the concept of internationalization of nursing education and is committed to building an international training platform for talents. Every year, excellent teachers are selected to participate in international exchange programs and attend international nursing conferences to actively expand their international horizons. In recent years, it has cooperated with many universities in the United States, Australia, Canada and other countries, and implemented educational projects such as teacher-student exchange, which has opened up broad prospects for bringing up international nursing talents.

The college rewards the society with true feelings and achieves greater development in the service. As a leading college of nursing education in Chongqing, it has held more than 20 training courses for all kinds of specialized nurses and more than 10 seminars on continuing nursing education and nursing education in recent years. It has received more than 200 people from international and domestic medical colleges to study and exchange nursing majors, and organized volunteer community nursing services for more than 3000 people, which has made positive contributions to promoting the development of nursing education in the western region and the whole country.
