武汉理工大学国际教育学院简介

武汉理工大学国际教育学院是武汉理工大学23个教学学院(部)之一，承担着武汉理工大学国际合作教育和来华留学生教育的实施与管理任务。学院位于学校马房山主校区，其优美的教学环境与先进的教学设施吸引着来自海内外的莘莘学子。

学院积极引进国外优质教育资源，融合国际先进的教学理念和管理经验，教师队伍实力雄厚，管理团队经验丰富，为中外学生提供了良好的学习环境与畅通的留学平台。目前学院共有在校生2600余人，其中包括来自100多个国家和地区的800余名外国留学生。

作为学校实施国际化战略的窗口，学院已与美国、英国、澳大利亚、法国、加拿大、瑞典等10多个国家百余所高校及教育机构建立了良好的教育合作关系。现有国际合作教育统招项目中英车辆工程本科项目、中澳金融学本科项目和本科交流项目，自主招生项目中英艺术本科项目和CSCSE-SQAHND项目，国际合作教育项目涉及工程类、商科类和艺术类共14个专业。此外学院还负责来华留学生教育管理和校内各专业、各层次国际交流生项目。

学院设有教育部授权的托福(TOEFL)考试中心和国家汉办/孔子学院总部授权的汉语水平考试(HSK)网考考点，与英国大使馆文化教育处建立“雅思考试中国合作伙伴”关系，成为雅思考试官方白金级合作单位，英国威尔士大学在学院设立了斯旺西语言考试中心(武汉)，为该校学生提供英国大学的入学语言测试。同时，学院在英国设有海外办事处，为该校赴英学子提供服务。

自2002年建院以来，学院得到长足发展，已经形成完善的学生培养体系，畅通的出国通道，国际合作办学水平在全国重点大学中居于规模较大、办学规范、培养质量高的领先位置。目前已培养了中外学生5000余名。其中国际合作教育项目学生毕业率达99%，成绩合格且有留学意愿的学生均已出国深造，已毕业学生就业率高，就业领域涉及材料、建筑、交通、IT、汽车、金融和外贸等行业，就业地域遍及美国、英国、德国、法国、澳大利亚、荷兰、俄罗斯、巴基斯坦、沙特、南非、摩洛哥、蒙古、印尼等100多个国家以及国内的北京、上海、广州、武汉、深圳、厦门等大中型城市。毕业生凭借扎实的专业知识、良好的外语和跨文化沟通能力，在各自的工作岗位上创造了骄人的业绩，成为就业领域的中坚力量，为加强中外友好交流与合作做出了积极的贡献。

A brief introduction to the School of International Education, Wuhan University of Technology

The School of International Education of Wuhan University of Technology is one of the 23 teaching colleges (departments) of Wuhan University of Technology, which undertakes the implementation and management of international cooperative education and the education of foreign students in Wuhan University of Technology. The college is located in the main campus of Mafangshan, and its beautiful teaching environment and advanced teaching facilities attract students from home and abroad.

The college actively introduces foreign high-quality educational resources, integrates international advanced teaching ideas and management experience, has a strong team of teachers and experienced management team, and provides a good learning environment and a smooth platform for Chinese and foreign students to study abroad. At present, the college has more than 2600 students, including more than 800 foreign students from more than 100 countries and regions.

As a window for the school to implement the internationalization strategy, the college has established good educational cooperation with more than 100 universities and educational institutions in more than 10 countries, including the United States, Britain, Australia, France, Canada, Sweden and so on. The existing international cooperative education programs include the Sino-British vehicle Engineering undergraduate Program, the Sino-Australian Finance undergraduate Program and the undergraduate Exchange Program, the independent enrollment Program, the Sino-British Art undergraduate Program and the CSCSE-SQAHND Program, and the International Cooperative Education Program covers 14 majors in engineering, business and art. In addition, the college is also responsible for the education and management of foreign students in China and international exchange programs for all majors and levels.

The college has a TOEFL test centre authorized by the Ministry of Education and a Chinese proficiency test (HSK) online test center authorized by the National Hanban / Confucius Institute headquarters. it has established a “IELTS China Partnership” with the Culture and Education Section of the British Embassy to become the official platinum partner of the IELTS test. The University of Wales has set up Swansea language Test Centre (Wuhan). Provide English university entrance language tests for the students of the university. At the same time, the College has an overseas office in the UK to provide services for its students going to the UK.

Since the establishment of the college in 2002, the college has made great progress, and has formed a perfect student training system, a smooth passage abroad, and the level of international cooperation in running schools occupies a leading position in the national key universities with large scale, standard of running schools and high training quality. So far, more than 5000 Chinese and foreign students have been trained. Among them, the graduation rate of students in the international cooperative education program is 99%. The employment rate of graduates is high, and the employment fields include materials, construction, transportation, IT, automotive, finance and foreign trade. Employment can be found in more than 100 countries, including the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Australia, the Netherlands, Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Morocco, Mongolia and Indonesia, as well as large and medium-sized cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shenzhen and Xiamen. With their solid professional knowledge, good foreign language and cross-cultural communication skills, graduates have made remarkable achievements in their respective jobs, become the backbone of the employment field, and have made positive contributions to strengthening friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries.
