东风总医院简介

东风总医院，全名为东风汽车公司总医院暨湖北医药学院附属东风医院，是一所集医疗、教学、科研、防保、康复、急救为一体的大型综合性国家三级甲等医院。医院先后荣获全国百佳医院、全国百姓放心示范医院、湖北三级优秀医院、湖北最佳文明单位、省级价格诚信单位等多项荣誉称号。

医院前身为始建于1927年的武汉市第一医院，1969年支援二汽(现东风汽车公司)建设整体搬迁十堰，几易其名直至东风总医院。40多年来，医院始终恪守“厚德仁术、济世康民”文化理念，全力保障了东风汽车事业发展和秦巴人民安康。

医院占地面积150余亩，建筑面积15万平方米;开放床位1400张，临床医技科室55个;年门诊量110余万人次，年出院患者4万人次;在职职工1700余人，拥有全国“白求恩奖章”获得者戴宗晴教授为首的一大批专家团队。其中高级职称200余人，博士、硕士160余人，副教授以上职称60余人，30多人任职硕士生导师。

医院拥有普外科、心血管内科、心胸外科、血液内科、肿瘤科、口腔科等19个省、市级临床重点专科，配置了3.0T磁共振、256层螺旋CT等600余台(套)共价值3亿元的高端设备，开展的器官移植、微创腔镜、心血管疾病介入诊疗、肿瘤综合治疗、急救创伤、口腔医学等品牌技术引领区域医疗发展。

作为附属医院，医院高度重视科研教学工作，承担着湖北医药学院第二临床学院、口腔医学院、护理学院的研究生和本科教学任务。医院搭建了肝脏外科研究所、器官移植研究所、心血管研究所、骨科研究所、神经精神疾病研究所、药物分析与筛查实验室等一流的科研平台。2010年以来，医院发表统计源以上期刊论文1100余篇，SCI论文100余篇，荣获5项国家自然科研基金，6项湖北省科技进步奖。截止目前，医院共有600多项科研成果和临床技术填补了鄂西北医学史空白，其中50多项处于国内领先、国际先进水平。

Brief introduction of Dongfeng General Hospital

Dongfeng General Hospital, whose full name is Dongfeng General Hospital of Dongfeng Automobile Company and affiliated Dongfeng Hospital of Hubei Medical College, is a large-scale comprehensive national Grade 3A hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and protection, rehabilitation and first aid. The hospital has won a number of honorary titles, such as the National ParknShop Hospital, the National people’s rest assured demonstration Hospital, Hubei third-level excellent Hospital, Hubei Best civilized Unit, Provincial Price Integrity Unit and so on.

The hospital, formerly known as the first Hospital in Wuhan, was founded in 1927. In 1969, it supported the construction of the second Automobile Company (now Dongfeng Motor Company) to relocate Shiyan as a whole, and changed its name to Dongfeng General Hospital. For more than 40 years, the hospital has always adhered to the cultural concept of “virtuous benevolence and helping the healthy people of the world”, and made every effort to ensure the development of Dongfeng automobile industry and the well-being of the people of Qinba.

The hospital covers an area of more than 150mu with a construction area of 150000 square meters; it has 1400 beds and 55 clinical medical and technical departments; there are more than 1.1 million outpatients and 40,000 patients discharged annually; and more than 1700 employees are on the job. It has a large team of experts headed by Professor Dai Zongqing, winner of the Bethune Medal. Among them, there are more than 200 senior professional titles, more than 160 doctors and masters, more than 60 associate professors and more than 30 master’s degree supervisors.

The hospital has 19 provincial and municipal clinical key specialties, such as general surgery, cardiovascular internal medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, hematology, oncology, stomatology, etc., equipped with more than 600 sets of high-end equipment with a total value of 300 million yuan, such as 3.0T magnetic resonance, 256 layers of spiral CT, etc. brand technology leads the development of regional medical treatment, such as organ transplantation, minimally invasive endoscopy, interventional diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, comprehensive treatment of tumor, emergency trauma, stomatology and so on.

As an affiliated hospital, the hospital attaches great importance to scientific research and teaching, and undertakes the graduate and undergraduate teaching tasks of the second Clinical College, College of Stomatology and College of Nursing of Hubei Medical College. The hospital has set up first-class research platforms such as liver surgery Institute, Organ Transplantation Institute, Cardiovascular Research Institute, Orthopaedics Institute, Neuropsychiatric Research Institute, Drug Analysis and screening Laboratory and so on. Since 2010, the hospital has published more than 1100 journal papers and more than 100 SCI papers, and won 5 National Natural Research funds and 6 Hubei Science and Technology Progress Awards. Up to now, there are more than 600 scientific research achievements and clinical technologies in the hospital to fill the gaps in the medical history of northwest Hubei, of which more than 50 are in the leading domestic and international advanced level.
