同济大学建筑与城市规划学院

同济大学建筑与城市规划学院具有广泛和深厚的历史基础。1952年在全国高等院校调整时由同济大学土木系、圣约翰大学建筑系、浙江大学建筑系、中国美院建筑系，多方整合而成同济大学建筑系;1986年发展为建筑与城市规划学院。
历任系主任有：黄作燊教授、吴景祥教授、冯纪忠教授、李德华教授;历任院长有：李德华教授、戴复东教授、陶松龄教授、郑时龄教授、陈秉钊教授、王伯伟教授、吴志强教授、吴长福教授。现任院长为李振宇教授。

城市规划、历史建筑保护工程、景观学等专业均为全国同类高校中首批设置的专业。一级学科在全国各高校中最早招收建筑学科研究生(1954年)，首批设立博士点(1981年)，最先设立一级学科博士后流动站(1988年)。城市规划专业是国家和上海市重点学科，建筑学专业为全国重点学科。2004年建筑学专业通过国家最高评估7年免检，2010年城市规划专业通过国家最高评估6年免检。

学院现设有建筑系、城市规划系、景观学系等3个系，共有4个本科专业、5个硕士点和5个博士点。专业设置涵盖从规划设计、建筑设计、景观设计等广泛的设计领域，建构了国内最齐全的学科建制，形成了学科群整体发展优势。

目前学院已成为国内同类院校中专业设置齐全、本科生招生规模最大，世界上同类院校中研究生培养规模第一，具有全球性影响力的建筑规划设计教学和研究机构，成为本学科重要的国际学术中心之一。为国家和地方承担了大量重点科研课题，培育了一代代的杰出建设人才，可谓桃李满天下。

近年来学院以“生态城市环境”、“绿色节能建筑”、“文化遗产保护”和“数字模拟设计”为学科发展重点，正在原有基础上进一步形成新的强势学科，通过学科交叉平台建设形成新的优势学科群。我们以建设和谐和永续发展的人居环境为己任，以建设处于世界第一方阵的规划、建筑、景观类院校为目标，坚持学院精神传统，依托广泛国际合作，联合国内兄弟院校，联手同济姐妹学科，齐心协力全心全意，与祖国一起迎接新的辉煌。

The School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University has an extensive and profound historical foundation. In 1952, the department of architecture of Tongji University was integrated by the Department of Civil Engineering of Tongji University, the Department of Architecture of St. John University, the Department of Architecture of Zhejiang University and the Department of Architecture of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, and developed into the School of Architecture and Urban Planning in 1986.

Successive department heads are: professor Huang Zuozhan, Professor Wu Jingxiang, Professor Feng Jizhong and Professor Li Dehua. Previous presidents are: professor Li Dehua, Professor Dai Fudong, Professor Tao Songling, Professor Zheng Shiling, Professor Chen Bingzhao, Professor Wang Bowei, Professor Wu Zhiqiang, Professor Wu Changfu. The current dean is Professor Li Zhenyu.

Urban planning, historic building conservation engineering, landscape and other majors are the first majors in similar colleges and universities in the country. The first-tier discipline was the first to recruit graduate students in architecture in colleges and universities across the country (1954), the first batch of doctoral programs were set up (1981), and the first first-tier discipline postdoctoral stations were set up (1988). The major of urban planning is a national and Shanghai key discipline, while the major of architecture is a national key discipline. In 2004, the architecture major was exempted from inspection for 7 years through the national highest evaluation, and in 2010, the urban planning major was exempted from inspection for 6 years through the national highest evaluation.

The college now has 3 departments, including the Department of Architecture, the Department of Urban Planning and the Department of Landscape Architecture, with 4 undergraduate majors, 5 master’s degree programs and 5 doctoral programs. The professional setting covers a wide range of design fields, such as planning and design, architectural design, landscape design and so on, which constructs the most complete discipline system in China and forms the overall development advantage of the discipline group.

At present, the college has become a teaching and research institution of architectural planning and design with complete professional settings, the largest scale of undergraduate enrollment, the largest scale of postgraduate training in similar colleges and universities in the world, and has become one of the important international academic centers in this discipline. It has undertaken a large number of key scientific research projects for the country and localities, and cultivated generations of outstanding construction talents, which can be said to have students all over the world.

In recent years, the college has focused on “eco-urban environment”, “green energy-saving buildings”, “cultural heritage protection” and “digital analog design”. New strong disciplines are being further formed on the original basis, and new dominant discipline groups are formed through the construction of interdisciplinary platforms. We take building a harmonious and sustainable living environment as our responsibility, building planning, architecture, and landscape colleges and universities in the first square in the world as our goal, adhering to the college’s spiritual tradition, relying on extensive international cooperation, brother colleges and universities within the United Nations, join hands with Tongji sister disciplines, make concerted efforts and wholeheartedly to meet the new glory with the motherland.
