广西民族师范学院简介

地处中国通往东南亚门户城市、桂西南区域交通枢纽城市、具有悠久历史和光荣革命传统的广西壮族自治区崇左市，被誉为“南疆国门大学”。学校的前身是创办于1939年的广西省立龙州师范学校，历经广西省龙州师范学校、南宁专区龙州师范学校、南宁地区第二师范学校、南宁师范专科学校、南宁师范高等专科学校等阶段。2009年3月升格为广西民族师范学院，成为一所全日制普通本科院校。在75年的办学历程中，始终以造就精英人才、推动科学研究、服务社会进步、引领文化发展为己任，逐渐形成了“进德修业，崇学善成”的校训和“自强不息
和谐至善 尊师重道 知行合一”的办学精神。

学校校园占地面积1089亩，校舍建筑总面积23万平方米，教学仪器设备总值6980多万元，图书馆馆藏纸质图书87万册。有教职工580人，专任教师487人，其中高级职称135人，具有博士、硕士学位教师325人。全日制在校生11201人，少数民族学生5134多人，占45%，少数民族种类包括侗族、仫佬族、京族、苗族、瑶族、壮族等20多个。

学校设有中文系、外语系、经济与管理系、政治与公共管理系、音乐与舞蹈系、美术与设计系、数学与计算机科学系、物理与电子工程系、化学与生物工程系、体育与健康教育系、思想政治理论课教学部等11个教学系部。开设26个本科专业以及6个高职专业，隶属文学、理学、教育学、经济学、管理学、工学、法学、艺术学等8大学科门类。其中“数学”和“旅游管理”列入广西重点培育学科;“应用化学”学科获广西高校优势特色重点学科立项建设，并列入2013年度广西高校重点学科立项建设。

学校有“广西左江花山岩画研究院”、“广西边疆问题研究基地”、“桂西南特色植物资源化学重点实验室”等自治区级研究基地、广西高校重点实验培育基地。学校在民族文化、民族艺术、民族体育、边疆治理、桂西南植物资源等领域的研究取得丰硕成果，近年承担国家自然科学基金项目1项，国家社科基金项目6项。

学校利用地处中国通往东南亚最便捷陆路交通前沿地带的区位优势，积极开展对外交流与合作。先后与越南河内等国家大学所属外国语大学、越南东方大学、越南高平师范高等专科学校和泰国庄甲盛叻察帕大学等东南亚国家高等院校建立了校际合作关系，签订了实质性的合作项目协议，实现了合作办学，双方在教师和学生互派、图书资料交换、国际会议举办等方面进行了广泛而深入的合作，成效显著。

学校充分利用校内丰富的教学和科研优势，积极主动为地方基础教育和经济社会发展提供内涵丰富、形式多样的优质服务。近五年来，学校积极发挥社会服务的职能，承担了
“国培计划”项目、崇左市中小学校长培训班、崇左市骨干教师培训班、乡镇中心校学科辅导员培训班、崇左边防驻军及其他企事业单位业务技能培训、以及多种国家职业资格考试(包括会计、银行、导游、公关、市场营销、食品检验、化工检验等)培训10000多人次。学校还与中信大锰矿业有限责任公司、安琪酵母(崇左)有限公司、广西埃赫曼康密劳化工有限公司、广西中国—东盟青年产业园区、国家级开发区凭祥边境经济合作区、广西丰浩集团等企事业达成了合作，并在崇左部分企事业单位建立了校外实践教学基地，加强校企合作，依托学校的科研实力和人才资源，帮助企业解决生产中的技术难题，实现优势互补，实现企业与学校的双赢。

办学75年来，学院始终立足边境，给年轻的崇左市带来了强劲的发展动力。近年来，学生在全国大学生数学建模大赛、全国大学生电子设计竞赛、全国ITAT教育工程就业技能赛、全国大学生英语竞赛、“CCTV杯”全国大学生英语作文大赛、“CCTV杯”全国英语演讲大赛、全国语文规范化知识大赛、全国少数民族运动会等省部级以上竞赛中获奖项100多项。学校先后被授予“国家级语言文字规范化示范校”、“全国民族体育先进集体”、“全区普通高校就业工作先进集体”、“广西高校教学改革与管理先进单位”、“广西壮族自治区高等学校安全文明校园”、“广西壮族自治区文明卫生学校”、“广西大学生志愿者暑期‘三下乡’社会实践活动先进单位”等荣誉称号。

A brief introduction to Guangxi normal University for nationalities

Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region, which is located in the gateway city from China to Southeast Asia, the regional transportation hub city in southwest Guangxi, and Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region with a long history and glorious revolutionary tradition, is known as “South Xinjiang National Gate University”. The predecessor of the school is Lilongzhou normal School in Guangxi Province, which was founded in 1939. It has gone through the stages of Longzhou normal School in Guangxi Province, Longzhou normal School in Nanning District, second normal School in Nanning area, Nanning normal College, Nanning normal College and so on. In March 2009, it was upgraded to Guangxi normal University for nationalities and became a full-time ordinary undergraduate university. In the course of 75 years of running a school, it has always taken bringing up elite talents, promoting scientific research, serving social progress and leading cultural development as its own responsibility, and gradually formed the school motto of “promoting morality and cultivation, advocating good learning” and “continuous self-improvement”.

The school campus covers an area of 1089 mu, with a total construction area of 230000 square meters, teaching equipment worth more than 69.8 million yuan, and a library collection of 870000 paper books. There are 580 faculty members and 487 full-time teachers, including 135 senior professional titles and 325 teachers with doctoral and master’s degrees. There are 11201 full-time students, of whom more than 5134 are minority students, accounting for 45%. There are more than 20 ethnic minorities, including Dong, Mulao, Jing, Miao, Yao and Zhuang.

The school has 11 teaching departments, including Chinese Department, Foreign language Department, Economics and Management Department, Politics and Public Administration Department, Music and Dance Department, Art and Design Department, Mathematics and computer Science Department, Physics and Electronic Engineering Department, Chemistry and Biological Engineering Department, physical Education and Health Education Department and ideological and political Theory Teaching Department. There are 26 undergraduate majors and 6 higher vocational majors, which belong to eight disciplines, such as literature, science, pedagogy, economics, management, engineering, law, art and so on. Among them, “mathematics” and “tourism management” are included in the key training disciplines in Guangxi; “applied chemistry” has won the key discipline construction of Guangxi universities with advantages and characteristics, and included in the key discipline construction of Guangxi universities in 2013.

The school has autonomous district-level research bases such as “Guangxi Zuojiang Huashan Rock painting Research Institute”, “Guangxi Frontier Research Base”, “key Laboratory of Plant Resources Chemistry with Southwest Guangxi characteristics” and key experimental training bases of colleges and universities in Guangxi. The school has made fruitful achievements in the fields of national culture, national art, national sports, frontier governance, and plant resources in southwestern Guangxi. In recent years, it has undertaken 1 project of the National Natural Science Foundation and 6 projects of the National Social Science Foundation.

The school takes advantage of its location in the forefront of the most convenient land transportation from China to Southeast Asia to actively carry out foreign exchanges and cooperation. It has successively established intercollegiate cooperation with universities in Southeast Asian countries, such as Foreign Studies University in Hanoi, Vietnam, Oriental University in Vietnam, Gaoping normal College in Vietnam, and Chapa University in Chungjia, Thailand. Substantive cooperation project agreements have been signed, and cooperation in running schools has been realized. the two sides have carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation in the exchange of teachers and students, the exchange of books and materials, and the holding of international conferences. The results are remarkable.

The school makes full use of its rich advantages in teaching and scientific research to actively provide quality services with rich connotations and various forms for local basic education and economic and social development. In the past five years, the school has actively played the function of social service.

The “National training Program” project, the training course for primary and secondary school principals in Chongzuo City, the training course for backbone teachers in Chongzuo City, the training course for subject counselors in township central schools, the professional skills training of Chongzuo Frontier Garrison and other enterprises and institutions, and more than 10000 people have been trained in various national vocational qualification examinations (including accounting, banking, tour guides, public relations, marketing, food inspection, chemical inspection, etc.). The school also cooperated with CITIC Da Manganese Mining Co., Ltd., Angel yeast (Chongzuo) Co., Ltd., Guangxi Ehmann Camilao Chemical Co., Ltd., Guangxi China-ASEAN Youth Industrial Park, national development zone Pingxiang Border Economic Cooperation Zone, Guangxi Fenghao Group and other enterprises. Cooperation has been reached, and some enterprises and institutions in Chongzuo have established off-campus practical teaching bases to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation. Over the past 75 years, the college has always been based on the border, bringing a strong driving force for the development of the young city of Chongzuo. In recent years, students have won more than 100 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level, such as the National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College students, the National Electronic Design Competition for College students, the National ITAT Education Engineering Employment skills Competition, the National College English composition Competition, the CCTV Cup, the National English speech Competition, the National Chinese Standardization knowledge Competition, and the National Minority Games.
