北京市日坛中学是一所地处京城中央商务区CBD中心的正在全面建设中的市级高中示范校。位于长安街与东大桥路交汇点东50米，毗邻国贸中心。得天独厚的区位优势使日坛中学成为名副其实的现代化、国际化学校，为造就高水平的骨干老师和优秀人才创造了优越的条件。

学校荣誉

日坛中学始建于1963年，1978年被北京市、朝阳区政府确定为重点中学，1988年被确定为首批学校内部体制改革试点校，1991年被命名为“全面育新人，办学有特色”示范校。1997年被确定为中央教科所素质教育国家级课题实验基地，2000年被评为全国学校艺术教育先进单位，并连续七年被授予市级“首都文明单位”。历年来还多次被评为德育先进校，市教科研先进校，教学成果显著校，电化教学优类校，科技活动示范校，北京市中小学百所课间操示范校。

教学设备

日坛中学在CBD地区占地近50亩，教学楼、综合实验楼、多功能厅设施现代化。有理化生实验室、计算机房、语音室、多媒体教室、网络中心、劳技教室等专用教室15个;图书馆藏书12万册;开办了音像阅览室、计算机备课中心;管弦乐团排练室、乐器室;全楼各教室都装有闭路电视系统和教学评价系统，每个教室都可以上网。

管理体制

日坛中学拥有一支治学严谨，素质优良，业务过硬，讲求奉献的教师队伍。全校教职工272人，教师中研究生(包括主要课程班结业)45人，特高、中级教师160人，大专以上学历99.4%，形成以特级教师陈正宜为代表的特高级教师群体和以获得“全国模范教师”、“北京市先进工作者”光荣称号的任炜东为代表的优秀青年教师集体，区级学术带头人，骨干老师、市、区兼职教研员等强大教育教学阵容。

Beijing Ritan Middle School is a municipal high school demonstration school under construction which is located in the CBD center of the central business district of Beijing. School honor

Ritan Middle School was founded in 1963 and was identified as a key middle school by Beijing and Chaoyang District Government in 1978. In 1988, it was identified as the first batch of pilot schools for internal system reform. In 1991, it was named as a demonstration school of “comprehensively educating new students and running a school with characteristics”. It was designated as the national experimental base of quality education in the Central Institute of Education in 1997, and the advanced unit of art education in national schools in 2000, and has been awarded the municipal “Capital Civilization Unit” for seven consecutive years.
