武汉航海职业技术学院简介

武汉航海职业技术学院建校于1955年，是教育部批准、交通部审核的公办综合性普通高等院校，2012年入选中国海军士官生试点培养院校，是全国交通职业教育工作先进单位、全国技能人才教育突出贡献单位、湖北省职业教育先进单位、湖北省最佳文明单位。

学校坐落在九省通衢、美丽的江城武汉，现有喻家湖校区、东湖校区二个校区，下设航海技术系、旅游系、船舶工程系、轮机工程系、汽车工程系、经
济与管理学院、航运物流学院、信息工程学院、培训学院、继续教育学院、国际教育学院、研究生处等12个办学单位，各类在校学生8000余名，累计为社会培
养10万余名各类高级专业技术人才，其中大多数已成为中国航运、中国海军、国际物流的骨干力量。

武汉航院所取得的成就以及在国内外所享有的声誉，得到了中央领导的充分肯定和高度评价，时任全国人大委员长吴邦国同志为武汉航海职业技术学院亲笔题写“中国长航国际海员培训中心”。

办学特色

学校秉承“学汇四海、技术报国”的办学理念，开设有航海技术、旅游管理、国际航运业务管理、报关与国际货运、连锁经营与管理、计算机技术、轮机工程、电子
商务、酒店管理、物流管理、楼宇智能等32个本、专科专业，建有GPS实验室、航运物流实验室、雷达模拟实验室、电工、电子技术及测量实验室、汽车工程、
信息工程等43个校内专业实验室，157个校外实训基地，形成了以航海、旅游为品牌，以汽车、物流、信息技术为特色的综合类高等院校。其中，轮机工程技术、国际航运业务管理、船舶工程技术等三个专业是中央财政重点支持专业，轮机工程技术、航海技术是省级重点专业，《航海学》、《海上酒店基础》和《导游业务》等多门课程为省级精品课程，
航海技术实验室、物流实验室、信息工程实验室、旅游实验室是高职高专重点建设实验室。

办学60年来，武汉航院积极支持国家海军建设，毕业生遍及“辽宁号”航空母舰、亚丁湾国际护航、东海舰队、北海舰队，为建设海洋强国，积极贡献着武汉航院人自己的力量。

学校鼓励和支持学生深造，与武汉大学、武汉理工大学、中南财经政法大学签署有本科联合办学协议，我校在校生，可同时攻读211重点大学相关本科学历证书。

学校高度重视国际交流与合作，与韩国庆熙大学、印度夏尔达大学签署联合办学协议，开展“国内2年、国外2年”的本科教育模式，和“国内3年、国外3年”的研究生模式。

Brief introduction of Wuhan Navigation Vocational and Technical College

Wuhan Navigation Vocational and Technical College, founded in 1955, is a public comprehensive institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education and examined by the Ministry of Communications. It was selected as a pilot training college for non-commissioned officers in China in 2012. It is an advanced unit of national transportation vocational education, an outstanding contribution unit of national skilled personnel education, an advanced unit of vocational education in Hubei Province, and the best civilized unit in Hubei Province.

The school is located in the thoroughfare of nine provinces and the beautiful city of Wuhan. There are two campuses, Yujiahu Campus and Donghu Campus, which are composed of Navigation Technology Department, Tourism Department, Marine Engineering Department, Marine Engineering Department, Automotive Engineering Department and Jingjing.

There are more than 8000 students in 12 schools, including the School of Economics and Management, the School of Shipping and Logistics, the School of Information Engineering, the Institute of training, the School of continuing Education, the Institute of International Education and the Graduate Department.

School-running characteristics

Adhering to the school-running concept of “learning from all over the world and technology serving the country”, the school offers navigation technology, tourism management, international shipping business management, customs declaration and international freight transportation, chain operation and management, computer technology, marine engineering and electronics.

Business, hotel management, logistics management, building intelligence and other 32 undergraduate and specialist disciplines, including GPS laboratory, shipping logistics laboratory, radar simulation laboratory, electrician, electronic technology and measurement laboratory, automotive engineering,

Information engineering and other 43 on-campus professional laboratories and 157 off-campus training bases have formed comprehensive colleges and universities with navigation and tourism as brands and characterized by automobile, logistics and information technology. Among them, marine engineering technology, international shipping business management and marine engineering technology are the key majors of central finance. Marine engineering technology and navigation technology are provincial key majors, and many courses such as “Navigation”, “Maritime Hotel Foundation” and “Tour Guide Business” are provincial high-quality courses.

Navigation technology laboratory, logistics laboratory, information engineering laboratory and tourism laboratory are the key construction laboratories in higher vocational colleges.

Over the past 60 years of running a school, Wuhan Aviation Academy has actively supported the construction of the national navy, with graduates from the aircraft carrier “Liaoning”, the Gulf of Aden International escort, the East China Sea Fleet and the North Sea Fleet, in order to build a marine power, actively contribute to the strength of Wuhan Aviation Academy.
