兴文二中简介

四川省兴文第二中学校始建于清康熙年间，初名为“和山书院”，1930年发展为初级中学，1958年发展为高完中，1997年发展为宜宾市重点高中，2003年底创建为四川省示范性普通高中。学校曾先后成功创建四川省绿化示范校、四川省中小学实验教学示范校、四川省示范家长学校、四川省校风示范校、四川省科技教育示范校、四川省艺术教育特色学校、四川省卫生先进单位、清华大学社会实践基地等，获得了宜宾市文明单位、宜宾市先进集体、宜宾市园林式单位、宜宾市思想政治工作先进单位等荣誉称号。

学校设施

校园坐落在兴文县县城香山西路，北靠崇峻旖旎的香水山，南临绿波潋滟的宋江河，占地120余亩，校园整洁，校舍俨然，绿树成荫，鸟语花香，育人环境得天独厚。学校现有教学大楼四幢，标准教室八十余间;科学楼、综合楼设施齐备，标准超前;普通教室、多媒体教室、实验室、语音室、美术室、音乐室、体育场馆等均按省级示范性普通高中的标准装配;图书室藏书8万余册，实行计算机自动化管理;阅览室500余平方米，可同时接纳300余名读者。学生生活区环境舒适，现代化的食堂和公寓可为2000余名学生提供优质的食宿服务。

师资力量

学校现有47个高中教学班，在校学生2870余人，有教职工185人，其中专任教师165人，特级教师1人，高级教师47人，一级教师48人，国家级、省级优秀教师、优秀班主任、劳动模范和学科带头人24人，市级以上青年骨干教师26人。学校教育教学质量逐年稳步上升。2005年高考，在全省本科上线比例下降的情况下，我校的高考上线率却稳步上升，在全省当年省级示范性普通高中排行榜中获得了较好名次，获得了县委、县政府的嘉奖。2006年高考成绩取得了历史性突破，本科上线较上一年本科上线人数增加50.7%。2007年高考本科上线完成市上下达目标的322.2%，重点本科上线完成市上下达目标的214.3%。

A brief introduction to Xingwen No.2 Middle School

Xingwen No. 2 Middle School in Sichuan Province was founded during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, initially known as “Heshan Academy”, developed into a junior high school in 1930, developed into Gaowan Middle School in 1958, developed into a key high school in Yibin City in 1997, and was established as an exemplary ordinary high school in Sichuan Province at the end of 2003. The school has successfully established Sichuan Greening demonstration School, Sichuan Primary and Middle School Experimental Teaching demonstration School, Sichuan Model parents School, Sichuan School Spirit demonstration School, Sichuan Science and Technology Education demonstration School, Sichuan Art Education characteristic School, Sichuan Health Advanced Unit, Tsinghua University Social practice Base and so on. It has won the honorary titles of Yibin civilized unit, Yibin advanced collective, Yibin garden-style unit, Yibin ideological and political work advanced unit and so on.

School facilities

The campus is located in Xiangshan West Road, Xingwen County, with the majestic and beautiful Xiangshui Mountain in the north and the Song River in the south, covering an area of more than 120 mu. The campus is neat, the school building is like, shaded by trees, birds singing and flowers fragrant, and the educational environment is unique. The school now has four teaching buildings and more than 80 standard classrooms; the science building and comprehensive building have complete facilities and advanced standards; ordinary classrooms, multimedia classrooms, laboratories, language labs, art rooms, music rooms and stadiums are all assembled according to the standards of provincial demonstration high schools; the library has a collection of more than 80,000 books, which is managed automatically by computer; the reading room is more than 500 square meters, which can accommodate more than 300 readers at the same time. The living environment of the students is comfortable, and modern canteens and apartments can provide quality food and accommodation services for more than 2000 students.

Teachers’ strength

The school now has 47 high school teaching classes, with more than 2870 students and 185 teaching staff, including 165full-time teachers, 1 special-grade teacher, 47 senior teachers and 48 first-class teachers. There are 24 national and provincial excellent teachers, excellent head teachers, model workers and discipline leaders, and 26 young backbone teachers above the municipal level. The quality of school education and teaching is rising steadily year by year. In the 2005 college entrance examination, with the decline in the proportion of undergraduate students in the province, the passing rate of our school’s college entrance examination increased steadily, and won a better ranking in the provincial demonstration senior high school ranking in that year, and won the commendation of the county party committee and county government. The results of the college entrance examination in 2006 made a historic breakthrough, and the number of undergraduate students on-line increased by 50.7% compared with the previous year. In 2007, undergraduate students in the college entrance examination completed 322.2% of the city’s target, and key undergraduates completed 214.3% of the city’s target.
