学校位于交通便利的郑州市嵩山路生态长廊南段，北临风光秀丽的南水北调滨河新区，是省教育厅直属全日制普通中等专业学校，首批国家级重点中专，全国教育系统先进集体，河南省职业教育先进单位。校内教学楼挺拔壮观，实验楼宽敞明亮，图书馆藏书丰富，学生公寓整洁舒适，是青年学子理想的学习场所。

学校专业设置

目前，学校办学层次有：普通中专、“3+2”分段制大专、郑州轻工业学院高职。普通中专有轻化工程、机电工程、经济管理、计算机与艺术设计四个系，开设19个专业，“3+2”分段制大专开设5个专业。建校以来，学校已培养出技术管理人才数万人，他们在各自的工作岗位上发挥着重要作用，许多毕业生已成为所在单位的领导或技术骨干。

学校师资力量雄厚

学校师资力量雄厚，拥有一支学术水平高、实践能力强、敬业爱岗、奉献进取的教师队伍。75%的教师具有高、中级技术职称，“双师型”教师比例达到50%以上。学校有省级职教专家2名、省级学科带头人2名、省级骨干教师6名、厅级学术技术带头人22名。学校教科研氛围浓厚，是全国轻工中专教育研究会常务理事单位，河南省中专教育研究会副会长单位，河南省文秘专业教学研究中心主任单位，80%以上的教师加入了各种学术团体。近年来，由学校教师主编、参编出版各类教材和专著百余部，发表及获奖论文千余篇。

Brief introduction of Light Industry in Henan Province

The school is located in the southern section of the ecological promenade of Songshan Road in Zhengzhou with convenient transportation, and faces the scenic Binhe New area of the South-to-North Water diversion Project to the north. It is a full-time ordinary secondary school directly under the Provincial Department of Education, the first batch of national key technical secondary schools, and the advanced collective of the national education system.
