石狮市中英文实验学校简介

石狮市中英文实验学校经市人民政府批准于2002年5月正式成立。这是一所由爱国侨领、香港知名人士投资创办的非营利性的全日制民办学校，是厦门双十中学的合作校，也是石狮一中和石狮第二实小的联办校。

学校坐落在石狮市城乡结合部的交通要道——灵秀镇塘园村，东邻万商云集的服装城，西依风景秀丽的灵秀山。校舍占地89.8亩，现有校舍建筑面积48646平方米,
总投资7491万元。学校环境也不断得到改善，设施越来越先进，拥有两千多人大餐厅、两千多人学生公寓、宽敞的室内体育活动室、健身舞蹈厅及高品位的图书馆、阅览大厅、英语俱乐部、建有电脑室、语音室、多媒体教室及各类学科专用教室、实验室等。

学校以“弘扬传统、突出英语、全面发展、强化管理”为办学特色，对每位学生负责，达到成功教育的目的。学校在完成国家规定的教学基础上，加强民族传统道德文化及学生三种习惯(行为习惯、生活习惯、学习习惯)的养成教育，突出英语学科，从小学一年级起开设英语课程，设立英语总监，聘请外籍教师，营造浓厚的学外语氛围，开展古诗文诵读活动，小学增设《三字经》、《论语》等课程，初中开设心理健康教育课，开展各类兴趣小组活动，培养学生全面发展的兴趣和技能。

Shishi Chinese and English Experimental School was officially established in May 2002 with the approval of the Municipal people’s Government. This is a non-profit full-time private school founded by patriotic overseas Chinese leaders and Hong Kong celebrities. It is a cooperative school of Xiamen Shuangshi Middle School and a joint school of Shishi No. 1 Middle School and Shishi No. 2 Middle School.
