东北师范大学文学院的前身是东北大学文学院,创建于1946年,最初成立于辽宁本溪。1948年秋,东北大学与吉林大学合并,首先设立文学院,由张松如(公木)教授任院长,吴伯箫教授任副院长,下设国文系等三个单位,国文系系主任由副院长吴伯箫兼任,后不久改由张毕来教授专任。1950年,东北大学与东北三省原有6所大学合并,正式命名为东北师范大学并由教育部直属,以原国文系为基础设中国语言文学系,由学校直属,下设语言教研室和文学教研室,其后逐渐发展为七个教研室。1999年增办新闻学专业,2001年2月,文学院以中文系为主体正式成立。现任院长王确教授,党委书记刘雨教授。

在近六十年的历程中,先后有作家萧军,舒群,诗人和翻译家穆木天教授,作家和文学史家李辉英先生,作家吴伯箫教授,诗人及学者张松如(公木)教授,词学家唐圭璋教授,古代文学史家杨公骥教授,现代文学史家、红学家张毕来教授,文章学家吴伯威教授,外国文学史家李江先生,诗人、文学理论家蒋锡金教授,文学理论家李树谦教授,古代文学史家逯钦立教授,文字学家孙常叙教授,训诂学家何善周教授,语言学家郎峻章教授,现代文学史家孙中田教授,古代文学史家苏兴教授,文字学家王凤阳教授,语文教育家朱绍禹教授,儿童文学研究专家蒲漫汀教授,民间文学专家汪玢玲教授等一大批知名学者在中文系(文学院)任教,为中文系的建立和发展开创了辉煌的历史,奠定了博大而坚实的基础。

文学院现设有中国语言文学系、新闻系、汉语国际教育学院、古籍整理研究所共四个单位,办有社科类核心期刊《古籍整理研究学刊》,建有“中国文学研究所”等11个院级专业研究机构。现有中国语言文学、新闻学2个本科专业。拥有汉语言文学一级学科博士点,中国古典文学、中国现当代文学、文艺学、汉语言文字学等四个二级学科博士点,中国古典文学、中国现当代文学、文艺学、汉语言文字学、比较文学与世界文学、语文课程教学论、传播学、中国古典文献学、中国历史文献学等9个二级学科硕士点,建有国家中文学科人才培养和科学研究基地、中国语言文学博士后科研流动站和2个省级重点学科。

文学院现有教职工89人,其中教授24人(博士生导师15人),副教授24人,教师队伍中具有硕士、博士学位的比例为85%,现有在职攻读博士学位教师16人。教师队伍中有全国中文教学指导委员会委员1名,教育部跨世纪学术带头人1名,省级学术带头人3名,省拔尖人才r4名,省管优秀专家2名,获国务院津贴者6名,获宝钢全国高校优秀教师教育基金奖、曾宪梓教育奖、华为奖等13人。近三年来,学院教师主持了国家社科基金项目、联合国教科文组织等国家及省部级项目80余项,出版学术专著40余部,主编教材70余部,发表学术论文总数达600余篇,先后荣获国家、省部级科研奖励20余项;现建有省级精品课程1门,校级精品课程4门;语文教学论、语言学、文艺学、古籍整理研究等学科先后分别主持召开了大型国际国内学术研讨会四次,并产生了积极反响。

学院现有在校博士研究生134人,硕士研究生512人,高校在职教师硕士及教育硕士研究生230人,本科生1007人,函授生752人。

长期以来,文学院坚持以基础教育为中心的指导思想,坚持以教师教育为主、以汉语言文学研究型人才培养为辅的教育教学方向,努力把文学院建设成为国内一流的中文教育与人才培养基地。多年来,学院汉语言文学专业以国家文科基地建设为中心,以中国语言文学为重点专业,以新闻学为重点建设专业,以中国古代文学、中国现当代文学、文艺学、汉语言文字学等为优势学科方向,形成了良好的专业布局结构和学科发展态势。

文学院学养深厚、学风优良,学生基本理论和知识扎实,基本技能与实践能力强,就业率高、社会评价好,60多年来,文学院为国家和社会培养了1万2千余名学生,他们从学校走向四面八方,成为国家现代化建设的重要力量,并涌现出国家级骨干教师、著名作家与学者等一大批优秀人才。

多年来,文学院积极开展对外交流与合作,与国内外许多高校中文学科建立了学术联系,聘请了一批知名专家为我院客座教授。学院与日本、韩国、中国香港等地高校保持常年交流合作关系,先后派出10余名教师到香港教育学院、日本创价大学、樱美林大学、早稻田大学、大谷大学、神户女子大学、韩国东兴大学、莫斯科大学等学校任教或做访问学者。1996年始,文学院与香港教育学院合作开办香港教育学院学生暑期普通话沉浸课程。2004年始,与韩国中学汉语教师协会合作,接收韩国中学汉语教师到文学院攻读硕士课程和学位。2004年始,与澳门大学合作推荐本科生到澳门大学攻读硕士学位。2005年始,与香港教育学院合作开办3+1和4+1本科教育模式。2007年始,与马来西亚等东南亚国家合作,开始招收培养对外汉语教育硕士。

历经半个多世纪的建设与发展,文学院不断赓续传统、继承优势、保持特色,努力在发展壮大中创造新的成绩,为国家的发展和社会的进步做出了应有的贡献。

Professor Wang Fenling, an expert in folk literature, and a large number of well-known scholars teach in the Chinese language Department (College of Arts), which has created a brilliant history and laid a broad and solid foundation for the establishment and development of the Chinese Department.

The Academy of Literature now has four units, namely, the Department of Chinese language and Literature, the Department of Journalism, the Institute of International Education of Chinese, and the Institute of Ancient Books arrangement, as well as the Social Science Core Journal of Ancient Books arrangement and Research, and 11 college-level professional research institutions such as the Institute of Chinese Literature. There are 2 undergraduate majors in Chinese language and Literature and Journalism. It has doctoral programs in the first-tier disciplines of Chinese language and literature, four second-level doctoral programs in Chinese classical literature, modern and contemporary Chinese literature, literature and art, and Chinese philology. The faculty now has 89 staff, including 24 professors (15 doctoral supervisors) and 24 associate professors. 85% of the teachers have master’s and doctoral degrees, and there are 16 in-service doctoral teachers. Chinese teaching theory, linguistics, literature and art, ancient books collation and other disciplines have presided over four large-scale international and domestic academic seminars, and produced positive responses.

At present, the college has 134doctoral students, 512master’s degree students, 230in-service teachers and master’s degree students, 1007 undergraduate students and 752 correspondence students.

More than 10 teachers have been sent to the Hong Kong Institute of Education, Soka University of Japan, Cherry Merrill Lynch University, Waseda University, Otani University, Kobe Women’s University, South Korea Dongxing University, Moscow University and other schools to teach or serve as visiting scholars. Since 1996, the Faculty of Arts has partnered with the Hong Kong Institute of Education to launch a summer Putonghua immersion course for students of the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
