广东海洋大学图书馆

广东海洋大学图书馆的历史源于1935年创立的广东省立汕头高级水产职业学校。70多年来学校几度迁徙和易名，图书馆事业在曲折中不断发展。1997年1月，随着原湛江水产学院和原湛江农业专科学校实质合并，湛江海洋大学图书馆成立。2002年4月，原湛江气象学校图书馆并入，湛江海洋大学图书馆由此覆盖了主校区、霞山校区和海滨校区。2005年6月，湛江海洋大学图书馆随校名变更为广东海洋大学图书馆。

馆舍设施

主校区图书馆位于校园中心区域，依山傍海，气势恢宏，与周围错落有致的楼群及雕塑相映成趣，构成一幅中西风格相统一、自然与人文相协调的和谐风景。

全馆建筑总面积25604平方米，其中主校区达20087平方米。主校区设有文献借阅、文献阅览、电子阅览、特色阅览、休闲阅览等十八个功能区，均为640平方米的大开间结构，阅览座位3000多个。
高速局域网采用1000M光纤连接校网络中心机房，三校区网络端口600多个。拥有光盘资源管理、图书采购查重、图书荐购、电子阅览室管理等系统。采用深圳大学图书馆管理软件，实现了采购、编目、流通、期刊管理、馆藏检索等系列网络化计算机管理。

主要资源

馆藏图书220万册，中外文数据库21个，自建纸本特色文献专题4个，中外文报刊3000多种。[1]
计算机管理系统、监控系统、消防报警系统、背景音乐系统集藏书、借阅服务、网络信息资源利用于一体，构建起服务、教学、业务、保障四个高度现代化的功能体系，彰显了现化化、数字化图书馆的基本特征。

中文数据库主要有：CNKI中国期刊全文数据库、 CNKI中国博士学位论文全文数据库、
CNKI中国优秀硕士学位论文全文数据库、CNKI年鉴我国全文数据库、CNKI国家科技成果数据库、CNKI中国工具书网络出版总库、CNKI中国高等教育期刊文献总库、万方数据库、维普中文科技期刊数据库、维普考试系统、读秀搜索平台、中国数字图书馆数字图书等。

主要服务

基础服务方面包括图书借阅、书刊阅览、电子阅览、特藏阅览、休闲阅览、咨询服务、用户教育、网络服务、新书通报、图书荐购等，研究咨询方面包括科技查新、论文检索、定题服务、收引检索、学科导航等，还有论文提交、接受捐书、文印服务、在线展览、投稿指南、参考借鉴等其他服务。1995年获得农业部科技查新站资格，与教育部查新站华南农业大学图书馆建立了联合查新业务。

科学管理

管理方面，1995年启用了深圳大学图书馆管理软件，实现了采购、编目、流通、期刊管理、馆藏检索等一系列的网络化计算机管理。2001年加入了基于STCW78/95国际公约建立的学校船员教育和培训质量体系。2006年建立了ISO9001：2000质量管理体系，并顺利通过了由国家认证认可委员会(CNAB)授权的深圳环通质量认证中心第三方审核，成为广东省首家、全国第二家以图书馆为独立单位获得该质量管理体系资格认证的机构。该体系的建立和运行有效提高了管理水平，管理工作走上了科学化和体系化发展的良性轨道。

The history of the library of Guangdong Ocean University originates from Guangdong Lishantou Advanced Fisheries Vocational School, which was founded in 1935. Over the past 70 years, the school has moved and changed its name several times, and the library cause has been developing continuously in the midst of twists and turns. In January 1997, with the substantial merger of the former Zhanjiang Fisheries College and the former Zhanjiang Agricultural College, the Library of Zhanjiang Ocean University was established. In April 2002, the library of Zhanjiang Meteorological School was merged, and the library of Zhanjiang Ocean University covered the main campus, Xiashan campus and seaside campus. In June 2005, the name of the library of Zhanjiang Ocean University was changed to the Library of Guangdong Ocean University.

Library building facilities

The main campus library is located in the central area of the campus, near the mountain and the sea, magnificent, reflecting with the surrounding buildings and sculptures, forming a harmonious landscape with the unity of Chinese and Western styles and the coordination of nature and humanities.

The total construction area of the museum is 25604 square meters, of which the main campus is 20087 square meters. The main campus has eighteen functional areas such as literature borrowing, literature reading, electronic reading, characteristic reading and leisure reading, all of which have a large bay structure of 640square meters and more than 3000 reading seats.

The high-speed local area network uses 1000m optical fiber to connect the central computer room of the school network, and there are more than 600 network ports in the three campuses. It has CD-ROM resource management, book purchase and duplicate check, book recommendation and purchase, electronic reading room management and other systems. The library management software of Shenzhen University is used to realize a series of network computer management, such as purchasing, cataloging, circulation, periodical management, collection retrieval and so on.

Main resources

The library has a collection of 2.2 million books, 21 Chinese and foreign language databases, 4 special topics of self-built paper books, and more than 3000 kinds of Chinese and foreign language newspapers and periodicals. [1]

The computer management system, the monitoring system, the fire alarm system and the background music system integrate book collection, lending service and the utilization of network information resources, and construct four highly modern functional systems of service, teaching, business and security. It shows the basic characteristics of modern and digital library.

Main service

The basic services include book lending, books and periodicals reading, electronic reading, special collection reading, leisure reading, consulting services, user education, network services, new book notification, book recommendation and purchase, etc. research and consultation includes scientific and technological novelty search, paper retrieval, topic-setting services, collection and retrieval, subject navigation, as well as other services such as paper submission, acceptance of donated books, printing services, online exhibitions, contribution guides, references and other services. In 1995, he was qualified for the scientific and technological novelty search station of the Ministry of Agriculture, and established a joint novelty search service with the library of South China Agricultural University, which is the novelty search station of the Ministry of Education.

Scientific management

In terms of management, the library management software of Shenzhen University was launched in 1995 to realize a series of network computer management, such as purchasing, cataloging, circulation, periodical management, collection retrieval and so on. In 2001, we joined the school crew education and training quality system based on the STCW78/95 international convention. The ISO9001:2000 quality management system was established in 2006, and successfully passed the third-party audit of Shenzhen Huantong quality Certification Center authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Commission (CNAB), becoming the first institution in Guangdong Province and the second institution in China to obtain the qualification certification of the quality management system with the library as an independent unit. The establishment and operation of the system has effectively improved the level of management, and the management has embarked on a benign track of scientific and systematic development.
