同济大学汽车学院

1978年，热能动力机械(动力)专业恢复招生。

1988年秋，同济大学“机械设计及制造”专业(服务方向为汽车设计及制造)正式向全国招生。同济大学在机械工程系下设立汽车教研室，成立汽车研究室。

1991年4月，汽车工程系正式成立。下设工程机械专业、汽车专业、热能动力与装置专业，1996年重组成新的汽车工程系，包括汽车专业和车用发动机专业。1999年7月29日，同济大学汽车营销管理学院成立。2002年，同济大学新能源汽车工程中心成立。

2002年4月28日，在汽车工程系、新能源汽车工程中心、汽车营销管理学院的基础上，同济大学汽车学院正式成立。2004年9月，汽车学院全体迁入位于上海国际汽车城的同济大学嘉定校区。

学院设有机械工程一级学科博士后流动站、管理工程一级学科博士后流动站、车辆工程博士点、动力机械及工程博士点、车辆工程硕士点、动力机械及工程硕士点和车辆工程学士点。

截止至2012年底，汽车学院学院在职教工152名，教授32名，副教授36名，其中30名博士生导师，专职教师中80%具有博士学位。学院拥有国家“十五”“863”电动汽车重大专项首席科学家、“十一五”国家节能与新能源汽车总体专家组组长万钢教授;“973”首席科学家余卓平教授;聘请中国工程院院士郭孔辉教授为兼职博士生导师和大众—同济研究院院长;有2名教授入选中组部千人计划，教育部长江学者与创新团队1个，“长江学者”特聘教授1名，同济大学特聘教授3名，教育部跨世纪及新世纪人才3人，教育部优秀青年教师基金3人，上海市优秀学科带头人计划2人，上海市曙光学者2人，上海市浦江人才计划2人，上海市青年科技启明星1人，上海市优秀青年教师8人，“通用汽车中国高校汽车领域创新人才”一等奖2人，同济大学英才计划8人，同济大学教学名师1人。汽车学院还聘请了一批中外汽车技术领域的知名专家和客座教授，并与多个国家及地区的政府、高校、科研机构、企业有着广泛的科研协作关系、学术交流和人员交流。

汽车学院拥有世界先进水平的汽车及发动机研发试验设备，如汽车转鼓试验台、汽车废气排放测试分析仪、汽车道路模拟振动台，整车半消声室以及三坐标仪等。目前已建成上海地面交通工具风洞中心和汽车造型研究中心。

目前，在读全日制本科生900余人，硕士生600余人，博士生100余人。本科培养为双外语5年制其中一年为主修德语或法语(二外)，硕士生培养2.5年制，博士生培养3年制。

In the autumn of 1988, Tongji University “Mechanical Design and Manufacturing” major (service direction for automobile design and manufacturing) officially recruited students to the whole country. Tongji University has set up an automobile teaching and research office and an automobile research office under the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

In April 1991, the Department of Automotive Engineering was officially established. Under the construction machinery major, automotive major, thermal power and equipment major, in 1996 reorganized into a new automotive engineering department, including automotive major and automotive engine major. On July 29, 1999, the School of Automobile Marketing and Management of Tongji University was established. In 2002, the New Energy Automobile Engineering Center of Tongji University was established.

On April 28, 2002, on the basis of the Department of Automotive Engineering, the New Energy Automotive Engineering Center and the School of Automotive Marketing Management, the Automotive College of Tongji University was officially established. In September 2004, the Automotive College moved to Jiading Campus of Tongji University, which is located in Shanghai International Automobile City.

The college has postdoctoral stations for first-tier disciplines of mechanical engineering, postdoctoral stations for first-tier disciplines of management engineering, vehicle engineering doctoral programs, power machinery and engineering doctoral programs, vehicle engineering master programs, power machinery and engineering master programs and vehicle engineering doctoral programs.

By the end of 2012, there were 152 in-service faculty, 32 professors and 36 associate professors, including 30 doctoral supervisors, and 80% of the full-time teachers had doctoral degrees. The college has Professor Wan Gang, chief scientist of the national “Tenth five-year Plan”863” electric vehicle project and head of the national expert group on energy conservation and new energy vehicles during the Eleventh five-year Plan, and Professor Yu Zhuoping, the chief scientist of the “973”. Professor Guo Konghui, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was hired as a part-time doctoral supervisor and president of Volkswagen-Tongji Research Institute. Two professors were selected into the Thousand talents Plan of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, 1 Changjiang Scholars and Innovation team of the Ministry of Education, 1 specially appointed Professor of “Yangtze River Scholars”, 3 specially appointed professors of Tongji University, 3 cross-century and new century talents of the Ministry of Education, 3 Outstanding Young Teachers Fund of the Ministry of Education, 2 excellent discipline leaders in Shanghai, 2 shanghai dawning scholars and 2 shanghai Pujiang talents plan. There are 1 young science and technology star in Shanghai, 8 outstanding young teachers in Shanghai, 2 first prize of “General Motors innovative talents in Automobile Field in Chinese Universities”, 8 talents Program of Tongji University and 1 famous teacher of Tongji University. The Automotive Institute has also hired a number of well-known experts and visiting professors in the field of automotive technology at home and abroad, and has extensive scientific research cooperation, academic exchanges and personnel exchanges with governments, universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises of many countries and regions.

The Automotive Institute has the world’s advanced automobile and engine research and development test equipment, such as automobile drum test bench, automobile exhaust emission test analyzer, automobile road simulation shaking table, vehicle semi-anechoic room and three-coordinate instrument, etc. At present, Shanghai ground vehicle Wind Tunnel Center and Automobile styling Research Center have been built.

At present, there are more than 900 full-time undergraduate students, more than 600 master’s degree students and more than 100 doctoral students. Undergraduate training is a 5-year dual foreign language program, including one year majoring in German or French (second foreign language), 2.5 years for master’s degree students and 3 years for doctoral students.
