历史沿革

泸县第四中学成立于1957年9月,成立之初一直到2002年12月,仍是一所县级初级中学。学校从1972年开始招收高中班。从1988年开始,为了推动学校的发展,县委县府作出了搬迁泸县第四中学的决定,搬迁到泸县兆雅镇燕子岩村,1989年9月,学校开始搬迁,到1993年全校搬迁完毕。

泸县第四中学是近几年来迅速发展壮大起来的极具影响力的一所农村普通高中,1989年开始在新的环境中,学校开始了新的发展。学校抓住高中教育发展的机遇,办学规模不断扩大:占地面积从原来的26亩扩展到120余亩,教学班从原来15个扩展到80个,学生从800多人扩展到现有在校生5300多人。学校在发展过程中强化管理,苦炼内功,办学层次不断提升

学校大事记

1994年 高考大打翻身仗,被市教育局领导誉为“泸州高中教育的一匹黑马”。

2002年 学校由一所初级中学升格为高级中学。

2003年 学校先后创建成泸州市校风示范学校和泸州市示范性普通高中。

2004年 学校创建成四川省校风示范学校。

2005年 学校先后创建成四川省实验教学示范学校和四川省现代教育示范学校,同年12月,学校创建成四川省示范性普通高中。

2005年 泸州市高一、二管理现场会在我校召开,会议发出“向

泸县四中学习”的号召。高三教学质量评估获泸州市A类学校一等奖。

制度建设

泸县四中在整个发展历程中,始终坚持以“一流的管理”来促“一流的质量”,“以制度管理”是学校管理的中心思想。
