福建省邵武第一中学，创办于1905年，已有百年的办学历史，现为省一级达标学校，共有42个高中教学班，在校生2358人，教职工187人。其中特级教师1人，中学高级教师53人，中学一级教师76人。具有硕士学位的3人。

学校坐落在风景宜人的熙春山下，富屯溪畔，校园面积55894.34平方米，建筑面积为44388平方米。整个校园按照规范化、绿化、美化和现代化的高标准建设,分有教学区、活动区和生活区。教学区有瑞榴教学楼、逸夫楼、现代教育中心大楼、实验综合楼、地理园、生物园;活动区由篮球场、排球场、羽毛球场、乒乓球馆、标准田径场和雨盖跑道等组成;生活区有教师住宅小区、学生食堂膳厅和学生公寓等。教学设施设备完善，建成“五室”、“四系统”的校园现代教学网络。

多年来，学校以“为每位学生的可持续发展奠基”为办学理念,全面推进以培养学生创新精神和实践能力为中心的素质教育，致力于创造一个优化的学习和工作环境。学校被教育部确定为首批“全国中小学现代教育技术实验学校”，并先后被授予全国信息技术实验成果突出学校、省级文明学校、省“先进基层党组织”、省级先进教工之家、省“绿色学校”、省普通中学“创优”先进集体、国家体育锻炼标准实施办法先进单位等十多项省级以上荣誉称号。

学校深化教育教学改革，坚持“以现代教育技术为突破口，以教育科研为先导，以优化课堂教学为主渠道，全面推进素质教育”的办学思想，形成了以现代教育技术带动教育科研发展，用课题研究促进课堂教学质量提高的良好教学风尚。学校为高一级院校输送了大批的合格新生。教师的教学论文、课件、课例等多次获全国、省级大奖，学生参加各级各类竞赛捷报频传，教育教学质量稳步提高。目前学校正按照创建学习型学校、争当学者型教师的高标准要求，以创新的管理推动学校向省级示范性普通高级中学的目标迈进。

According to the high standards of standardization, greening, beautification and modernization, the whole campus is divided into teaching area, activity area and living area. The teaching area consists of Ruigui teaching building, Shaw building, modern education center building, experimental complex building, geographical park and biological park; the activity area is composed of basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis hall, standard track and field and rain-covered runway; living areas include teachers’ residential areas, student canteens, canteens and student apartments. The teaching facilities and equipment are perfect, and the campus modern teaching network of “five rooms” and “four systems” is built.

Over the years, with the concept of “laying the foundation for the sustainable development of each student”, the school has comprehensively promoted quality education centered on cultivating students’ innovative spirit and practical ability, and is committed to creating an optimized learning and working environment.
