兰州理工大学技术工程学院是由兰州理工大学与深圳市华育昌国际科教开发有限公司联合举办的全日制普通本科院校。2004年2月被国家教育部首批确认为“独立学院”。学院坐落于甘肃省省会兰州市，与兰州理工大学毗邻。校园环境优雅，基础设施先进，办学条件优越。办学以来，累计向社会输送毕业生万余名。
学院依托兰州理工大学雄厚的办学实力和优越的教育资源以及深圳市华育昌国际科教开发有限公司在科教资源开发和研究方面的综合优势，根据现代科学技术发展趋势和经济社会发展需求设置学科专业，办学起点较高，办学机制科学，办学特色鲜明，办学质量保证。

专业设置

学院目前有在校生9000余人，设有10个系，5个教学部，1个工程训练中心，33个本科专业，形成了以机械、电气、土木、材料、化工等工科专业为主，兼备理学、文学、管理学专业，特色鲜明的专业结构体系。学院建有西北地区一流的工程训练中心，以及物联网工程、通信工程、机械加工、工业自动化、工程测量等多个专业实验室，建立了200余家校外实习实训基地，多家职业技能认证机构在学院挂牌。

教学质量

学院秉承兰州理工大学优良的办学传统，始终将人才培养作为办学的根本任务。学院构建了具有自身特色的人才培养方案，不断深化教学改革，强化教学管理，狠抓教学质量，注重学生实践能力和创新能力的培养。形成了重点大学委托培养、分级教学培养、校企联合培养等多种培养模式。建立了教学全过程闭环管理的“教学质量监控与保障体系”和“实践教学体系”，
切实保证了人才培养质量。

经过十余年的发展，学院已经建成了一支德才兼备、结构合理、学缘结构优化的师资队伍。一批资深的专家教授担任学院的专业负责人，同时还聘请了包括“长江学者”、“全国教学名师”在内的数十名客座教授。

合作交流

学院面向全国招生，招生纳入国家普通高校统招计划，与1000余家企事业单位建立了固定合作关系，取得了良好的成绩。经甘肃省人事厅统计公布的毕业生就业率连续九年均超过90%，位居全省独立学院榜首，全省普通高校前五位。学院也被甘肃省人社厅授予
“甘肃省普通院校毕业生就业工作先进单位”荣誉称号。学院考研数量和质量逐年提高，部分学生考取了西安交通大学、山东大学、中国人民大学、湖南大学、西北工业大学等985、211高校的硕士研究生。

The School of Technical Engineering of Lanzhou University of Technology is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university jointly organized by Lanzhou University of Technology and Shenzhen Huayuchang International Science and Education Development Co., Ltd. In February 2004, it was first recognized as an “independent college” by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province, adjacent to Lanzhou University of Technology. Adhering to the fine school-running tradition of Lanzhou University of Technology, the college always regards personnel training as the fundamental task of running a school. The college has constructed a talent training program with its own characteristics, constantly deepening teaching reform, strengthening teaching management, paying close attention to teaching quality, and paying attention to the cultivation of students’ practical ability and innovative ability. Electrical engineering and its automation and mechanical design and manufacturing and automation major are characteristic construction majors of colleges and universities in Gansu Province. The Engineering training Center and the Electrical Control and Automation Experimental Teaching Center were appraised as the “Experimental Teaching demonstration Center of Gansu Colleges and Universities”, and the Internet of things Engineering Laboratory was named as the “key Laboratory of Gansu Colleges and Universities”.
