吉林工程技术师范学院坐落在风光秀美的历史名城吉林省省会长春市，是中国第一所专门为职业中专和职业高中培养师资的全日制本科师范院校，也是东北三省和内蒙古地区唯一一所独立设置的全日制本科职业师范院校，被誉为职业教育师资的摇篮。

办学规模

学校以职教师资教育为核心功能，以应用型专业教育为主线，形成了职技高师教育、高等工程教育、高等技术教育“三位一体”，职教教师培养与培训“双重支撑”的办学格局。在办学属性上，坚持学术性、职业性和师范性的“三性”统一;在办学特色上，打造“双师”型师资队伍，培养“双师”型人才，突出创新能力与实际操作能力的培养与训练，使学生既有师能又有技能;在内涵及载体建设上，始终致力于职教师资培养、职教师资培训、职教科学研究、职教信息服务这四个中心的建设;在服务职教全局上，注重发挥职教师资保障、职教科研引领、教育教学示范和职教文化建设四大母机功能。

院系设置

学校始终遵循“优势专业立品牌、新增专业上质量、拟增专业抓特色”的工作思路，不断加大专业建设的力度，建立起了符合学校办学实际、适应职业教育和吉林省经济社会发展需要的专业体系，现已涵盖工、文、管、理、经、教育、艺术7个学科，专业结构更趋合理(我校2014年度新增设普通本科专业1个《化学工程与工业生物工程(081305T)》、新增设高职高专专业2个《电气自动化技术(580202)》和《汽车检测与维修技术(580402)》

办学荣誉

我校的技能鉴定工种涵盖33个本科专业;有稳定的校外实践教学基地100余个。学校被人社部确定为国家职业技能鉴定试点校，被国家语委确定为国家级语言文字规范化示范校，学校电工电子实验教学中心、先进制造技术实验教学中心、自动化控制技术实验教学示范中心、食品科学与工程实验教学示范中心被确定为省级实验教学示范中心。2013年吉林工程技术师范学院-吉林省荣发服装厂被确定为国家级大学生校外实践教育基地。

Located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, Jilin Engineering and Technical normal College is the first full-time normal college in China to train teachers for vocational secondary schools and vocational high schools. it is also the only full-time vocational normal college set up independently in the three provinces of Northeast China and Inner Mongolia, which is known as the cradle of vocational education teachers.

School scale

Taking the teacher education of vocational education as the core function and the applied professional education as the main line, the school has formed the “trinity” of vocational and technical normal education, higher engineering education and higher technical education, and the pattern of “double support” in the training and training of vocational teachers. In terms of the nature of running a school, we should adhere to the “three-nature” unity of academic, professional and normal nature; in terms of the characteristics of running a school, we should build a contingent of “double-division” teachers, train “double-division” talents, and highlight the cultivation and training of innovative ability and practical operation ability. so that students have both teachers and skills. In terms of connotation and carrier construction, it is always committed to the construction of four centers: vocational education teacher training, vocational education teacher training, vocational education scientific research and vocational education information service; in serving the overall situation of vocational education, we should pay attention to giving full play to the four functions of the mother machine: the guarantee of vocational education teachers, the guidance of vocational education scientific research, the demonstration of education and teaching and the construction of vocational education culture.

College and department setting

The school has always followed the working idea of “establishing a brand for superior majors, improving the quality of new specialties, and planning to increase the quality of specialties”, and constantly strengthen the construction of specialties. It has established a professional system in line with the reality of running a school and adapted to the needs of vocational education and the economic and social development of Jilin Province. It now covers seven disciplines: engineering, liberal arts, management, science, economics, education and art. The specialty structure is more reasonable (our university added one new general undergraduate major “Chemical Engineering and Industrial Biological Engineering (081305T)”, two new higher vocational college majors “Electrical Automation Technology (580202)” and “Automobile Inspection and maintenance Technology (580402)”.

Honor of running a school

Our school’s skill appraisal work covers 33 undergraduate majors and has more than 100 stable off-campus practical teaching bases. The school is designated as the national vocational skills appraisal pilot school by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Affairs, and the national language standardization demonstration school by the State language Commission. The school electrical and electronic experimental teaching center, advanced manufacturing technology experimental teaching center, automatic control technology experimental teaching demonstration center, food science and engineering experimental teaching demonstration center have been identified as provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers. In 2013, Jilin normal University of Engineering and Technology-Jilin Rongfa Garment Factory was identified as a national off-campus practical education base for college students.
