南京航空航天大学继续教育学院

南京航空航天大学创立于1952年，是一所以工科为主，工、管、理、经、文、法协调发展，具有航空、航天、民航特色，国家211工程建设的重点大学，也是全国50余所建有研究生院的大学之一。学校现隶属于工业和信息化部。

学校占地总面积2565亩，建筑总面积72万平方米，图书馆馆藏图书296万余册。学校教职工2800余人，其中专任教师1400余人，有教授、副教授720人;专业技术人员中具有高级职称人员700余人。现有全日制在校生22000余人，其中：本科生15000余人，研究生5460余人。

学校拥有15个学院，设有本科专业41个，硕士点127个，博士点62个(其中一级学科点10个)，有9个博士后流动站，18个国家级和省部级重点学科，3个”长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授设岗学科。另设有无人机研究院、直升机研究所等68个研究机构和51个教学科研实验室，其中1个国家级重点实验室，9个部级重点实验室。南京航空航天大学坚持以人才培养为根本任务，素质教育为基础，以能力培养为主导，逐步建立起了符合教育规律和社会发展要求的、特色鲜明的人才培养体系，取得了一批高水平的教学成果，培养的人才以”基础厚、能力强、后劲足、素质高”而广泛受到用人单位的青睐。学校以“智周万物，道济天下”为校训，形成了“团结、俭朴、唯实、创新”的优良校风。

在办好全日制普通高等教育的同时，学校还面向行业、社会和经济建设需要举办各种类型的成人高等教育。1958年开办夜大学，1984年恢复招生。1987年设立函授大学。同年成立继续教育学院，统一归口、加强成人高等教育、高等教育自学考试和继续教育的管理。

成人高等学历教育目前开设了计算机科学与技术、电子信息工程、飞行器动力工程、交通运输、土木工程、机械工程及自动化、工业工程、信息管理与信息系统、英语、会计学、工商管理、国际经济与贸易等本科专业，计算机应用技术、机械及自动化、会计、计算机信息管理、电子商务、民航运输、飞机维修等专科专业。在江苏、上海、贵州、广东、广西、新疆、海南、浙江、山西、福建等地设立了20余个函授站。办学层次有高中起点专科、高中起点本科、专科起点本科等;学习形式有业余、函授。学历教育办学规模稳步发展，成人学历教育现有在校生6000余名。已为国防工业、民航系统和地方经济建设培养了14000余名本、专科毕业生。

南航成人教育有一支熟悉并热爱成人教育工作的管理干部队伍和相对稳定的专兼职结合的教师队伍。教学较早地实行了课程统考、教考分离、集体备课等制度。通过实践，不断总结修订教学计划，已有比较完整的课程教学基本要求等教学文件;形成了一整套管理工作的规章制度，建立起了良好的校风、教风、学风和考风。1996年在原国家教委组织对全国普通高等学校举办的函授、夜大学教育评估中，我校荣获“全国成人高等教育评估优秀学校”称号，2003年我校又被江苏省教育厅授予“成人高等教育学生管理工作先进集体”称号。

南航将本着稳定学历教育规模，大力发展继续教育，提高质量，办出特色的发展思路，进一步采取切实措施，加大投入，加强管理，深化改革，使成人教育与全日制本科生和研究生教育一起，向规模、结构、质量、效益相互协调、相互统一的方向发展。

Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, founded in 1952, is an engineering-based university with the coordinated development of engineering, management, science, economy, arts and law, with the characteristics of aviation, aerospace and civil aviation, and the construction of the National 211 project. it is also one of the more than 50 graduate schools in the country. The school now belongs to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The school covers a total area of 2565 mu, with a total building area of 720000 square meters and a library collection of more than 2.96 million books. The school has more than 2800 staff, including more than 1400 full-time teachers, 720 professors and associate professors, and more than 700 professional and technical personnel with senior titles. At present, there are more than 22000 full-time students, including more than 15000 undergraduates and 5460 postgraduates.

The school has 15 colleges, including 41 undergraduate majors, 127 master’s programs and 62 doctoral programs (including 10 first-level disciplines). There are 9 post-doctoral stations, 18 national and provincial-level key disciplines, and 3 specially appointed professors under the Yangtze River Scholars Award Program. In addition, there are 68 research institutions, including UAV Research Institute and helicopter Research Institute, and 51 teaching and research laboratories, including 1 national key laboratory and 9 ministerial key laboratories. Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics insists on taking talent training as the fundamental task, quality education as the foundation, and ability training as the leading factor. It has gradually established a talent training system with distinctive characteristics that meets the requirements of educational laws and social development. A number of high-level teaching achievements have been achieved, and the trained talents are widely favored by employers for their “solid foundation, strong ability, strong stamina and high quality”. The school takes “Zhi Zhou all things, Tao helps the world” as the school motto, and has formed a fine school spirit of “unity, frugality, realism and innovation”.

While running full-time general higher education well, the school also holds various types of adult higher education for industry, social and economic construction. Night university was opened in 1958 and enrollment resumed in 1984. A correspondence university was established in 1987. The Institute of continuing Education was established in the same year to unify and strengthen the management of adult higher education, self-study examination of higher education and continuing education.

Adult higher diploma education currently offers undergraduate majors in computer science and technology, electronic information engineering, aircraft power engineering, transportation, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and automation, industrial engineering, information management and information systems, English, accounting, business administration, international economics and trade, etc. Computer application technology, machinery and automation, accounting, computer information management, e-commerce, civil aviation transportation, aircraft maintenance and other specialties. More than 20 correspondence stations have been set up in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Guizhou, Guangdong, Guangxi, Xinjiang, Hainan, Zhejiang, Shanxi and Fujian. The level of running a school includes junior college at the starting point of high school, undergraduate course at the starting point of senior high school, undergraduate course at the starting point of junior college, etc., and the forms of learning are amateur and correspondence. The scale of diploma education has developed steadily, and there are more than 6000 students in adult diploma education. More than 14000 undergraduate and junior college graduates have been trained for the national defense industry, civil aviation system and local economic construction.

China Southern Airlines adult education has a team of management cadres who are familiar with and love adult education and a relatively stable team of full-time and part-time teachers. Teaching early implemented the system of unified curriculum examination, separation of teaching and examination, collective lesson preparation and so on. Through practice, constantly summing up and revising the teaching plan, there have been relatively complete teaching documents such as the basic requirements of course teaching, formed a set of rules and regulations for management, and established a good school spirit, teaching style, study style and examination style. In 1996, in the correspondence and evening university education evaluation organized by the former State Education Commission, our school was awarded the title of “National excellent School for Adult higher Education Evaluation”. In 2003, our school was awarded the title of “Advanced Collective in Student Management of Adult higher Education” by the Education Department of Jiangsu Province.

In line with stabilizing the scale of diploma education, China Southern Airlines will vigorously develop continuing education, improve quality, develop characteristic development ideas, and further take practical measures to increase investment, strengthen management, and deepen reform, so that adult education and full-time undergraduate and postgraduate education will develop in the direction of mutual coordination and unity in scale, structure, quality and benefits.
