暨南大学华文学院

暨南大学华文学院于1993年6月经国家教育部、国务院侨办批准，由广州华侨学生补习学校并入暨南大学，与暨南大学对外汉语教学系及预科部合并组建而成。华文学院长期以来致力于华文教育和对外汉语教学，是暨南大学面向港澳台地区和海外开展华文教育、对外汉语教学及预科教育的专门学院。学院以“忠信笃敬”为校训，全力为学生提供高质量的教育课程。

华文学院被国务院侨务办公室确定为“华文教育基地”;被国家教育部确定为“国家对外汉语教学基地”、“支持周边国家汉语教学重点院校”，与教育部语言文字信息管理司共建“海外华语研究中心”;学院开设的“对外汉语”本科专业获广东省名牌专业;学院现为中国汉语水平考试(HSK)初、中、高级考点，国家汉办“汉语作为外语教学能力证书”考试点，中国普通高校对外联合招生考试点和暨南大学、华侨大学两校联合对外招生主考点。

目前，学院下设有汉语系、应用语言学系、华文教育系、海外华语研究中心、华文教育研究所、预科部、函授部、网络与教育技术中心八个系、所、中心建制的教学科研单位。学院高度重视教学质量，现有教职工202人，其中教授11人、副教授23人、博硕导师17人、博士39人、在读博士9人。

学院现开设有“汉语言”、“对外汉语”和“华文教育”三个本科专业，另设有汉语初级班、中级班、高级班、汉语速成班、商贸汉语班、粤语班、短期汉语班及各种类型的夏(冬)令营班，为海外学子提供多层次、多形式的汉语言文化学习和教育的途径;并招收、培养对外汉语教学研究方向的硕士学位研究生。预科教育开设有半年制A班、一年制B、C班、二年制D班、中级班和初级班。A、B班直升考试合格可直升本科，C班参加两校联招和全国联招考试可升读国内高校。学院现有来自美国、加拿大、日本、韩国、俄罗斯、法国、英国、澳大利亚、印尼、泰国、柬埔寨、香港、澳门、台湾等56多个国家和地区逾2000名学生。

学院重视与世界各地的海外华校、华文教育机构等的联系合作。与新加坡华夏管理学院联合招收语言学及应用语言学的硕士研究生;在印尼万隆、坤殿、棉兰等地设立函授点培养华文师资学历学生等，积极开拓在海外的华文教育。

近年来，华文学院为来华留学生、预科生，海外函授学生以及海外华文学校开发和编写多种教材，深受海内外华文和汉语学习者的好评。1994年，华文学院为柬埔寨编写的华文教材《中文》和《数学》共48册，经柬埔寨王国教育部审查通过，在全柬50多所中文学校发行使用，填补了柬埔寨华文教材的空白。为北美编写的教材《中文》共12册48本，自1997年9月在北美、欧洲等世界各地的中文学校发行使用以来，受到高度评价。该教材还开发了网络版、繁体版，制作教学光盘并先后获得省教育厅一等奖和国家电教二等奖。

华文学院占地147，129平方米，建筑面积达56394.05平方米，拥有应用语言学实验室、多媒体教材制作室、电教室、语音教室、生物实验室、化学实验室、图书馆等一批先进的教学设施;有足球场、篮球场、羽毛球场、网球场、乒乓球室、健身房等健身场所;有设施齐全、生活便利、安全卫生的学生公寓;有汇聚各国美食的学院餐厅。学院多媒体教学办公校园网已开通使用，可随时与世界各地进行联系沟通。

华文学院座落在中国南方的国际大都市广州，毗邻港澳，交通便利，物质和文化生活丰富。学院依山而建，树木葱郁、空气清新、环境幽雅，各种生活设施齐备;是广大中国学生和华裔青年、外国留学生学习汉语和中国文化的好去处。

The Chinese language College of Jinan University was established in June 1993 with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, merged by Guangzhou overseas Chinese students tutorial School into Jinan University, and merged with the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign language and the Preparatory Department of Jinan University. The Chinese language College has long been committed to Chinese language education and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Jinan University is a specialized college for carrying out Chinese language education, teaching Chinese as a foreign language and preparatory education in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas. The college takes “faithfulness and respect” as its motto and tries its best to provide students with high-quality educational courses.

The Chinese language College has been designated as the “Chinese language Education Base” by the overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council; the Ministry of Education has identified it as the “National Base for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign language” and “supporting key institutions of Chinese Teaching in neighboring countries”. The overseas Chinese language Research Center has been jointly established with the Department of language and text Information Management of the Ministry of Education, and the undergraduate major of “Chinese as a Foreign language” offered by the College has won the famous major of Guangdong Province. The college is now an elementary, intermediate and advanced examination center for the Chinese language proficiency examination (HSK), a pilot test for the Certificate of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign language, a joint foreign enrollment examination center for ordinary colleges and universities in China, and a joint foreign enrollment examination center for Jinan University and overseas Chinese University.

At present, the college has eight departments, institutes and centers for teaching and research, including the Department of Chinese language, the Department of Applied Linguistics, the Department of Chinese Education, the overseas Chinese language Research Center, the Institute of Chinese Education, the Preparatory Department, the correspondence Department, and the Network and Educational Technology Center. The college attaches great importance to teaching quality. There are 202 faculty members, including 11 professors, 23 associate professors, 17 doctoral supervisors, 39 doctorates and 9 doctoral students.

The college now offers three undergraduate majors: “Chinese language”, “Chinese as a Foreign language” and “Chinese Education”. In addition, there are Chinese elementary class, intermediate class, advanced class, Chinese crash class, business Chinese class, Cantonese class, short-term Chinese class and various types of summer (winter) camp classes. to provide overseas students with multi-level and multi-form ways to learn and educate Chinese language and culture. And recruit and train master’s degree postgraduates in the research direction of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Preparatory education offers half-year class A, one-year class B, class C, two-year class D, intermediate class and junior class. Classes An and B can be promoted to undergraduate students if they pass the straight entrance examination, while Class C can be admitted to domestic colleges and universities if they take part in the joint entrance examination and the national joint entrance examination. The college now has more than 2000 students from more than 56 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Russia, France, Britain, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

The College attaches importance to contacts and cooperation with overseas Chinese schools and Chinese educational institutions around the world. Jointly with the Huaxia School of Management in Singapore to recruit postgraduates in linguistics and applied linguistics; to set up correspondence centers in Bandung, Kundian, Medan and other places in Indonesia to train Chinese teachers and educated students, and actively develop Chinese language education overseas.

In recent years, the Chinese language College has developed and compiled a variety of teaching materials for overseas students, preparatory students, overseas correspondence students and overseas Chinese schools, and has been well received by Chinese and Chinese learners at home and abroad. In 1994, the Chinese language Institute compiled a total of 48 Chinese language textbooks “Chinese” and “Mathematics” for Cambodia, which were examined and approved by the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Cambodia and issued and used in more than 50 Chinese schools in Cambodia, filling in the gaps in Cambodian Chinese teaching materials. There are 12 volumes and 48 copies of the textbook “Chinese” for North America, which has been highly praised since it was released and used in Chinese schools in North America, Europe and other parts of the world in September 1997. The textbook has also developed the network version and the traditional version, produced the teaching CD and won the first prize of the provincial education department and the second prize of the national audio-visual education.

The Chinese language College covers an area of 147129 square meters and has a construction area of 56394.05 square meters.
