东华大学继续教育学院

学校简介

东华大学是教育部直属的全国重点大学，国家正式批准立项的“211工程”重点建设院校，由教育部和上海市人民政府共建共管，是中国首批具有博士、硕士、学士三级学位授予权的学校，并设有博士后流动站。学校的前身华东纺织工学院建于1951年6月。1985年9月学校更名为中国纺织大学。1999年8月，学校更名为东华大学。

东华大学成人教育始于1956年，学院依托学校优势，适应经济建设对人才的需求，已为国家培养夜大、函授、脱产学习的本、专科毕业生21600余名，各类培训及继续教育学员24000余人。学院先后荣获“全国普通高校成人高教先进单位”、“上海市成人高校先进集体”、“上海市推进学习型社会建设优秀品牌建设单位”，“上海市2006-2010年成人教育先进集体”等称号。2001年6月，东华大学成为教育部正式批准的全国现代远程教育试点高校。同年11月，网络教育学院正式成立。东华网院也是上海七所现代远程教育试点高校网络教育学院协作组的成员。

学院坚持“继续教育、自主办学”原则，大力推进非学历教育，稳步提高学历教育质量，加强现代远程技术的运用，努力办成一个有特色、多层次、国际化的继续教育学院。

东华大学继续教育学院开设有服装艺术设计、环境艺术设计、工业设计、数字媒体、动漫、会展艺术与技术、表演、国际经济与贸易、物流管理、工商管理、市场营销、会计学、行政管理、英语、日语等专业的成人高等学历教育。

取得正式学籍的学生，在规定年限内，修完并通过教学计划规定的全部课程和教学环节，将获得教育部电子注册的毕业证书;本科学生在学制时间内获得毕业证书的同时，若符合学位授予条件者，可申请成人高等教育学士学位。

交通环境

学院地处东华大学延安西路校区，校园环境优美宜人，系“上海市花园单位”，校区内图书馆、食堂、运动场各类设施一应俱全。学院交通便利，毗邻地铁三、四号线延安西路站，市内多路公交均可直达。

Brief introduction of the school

Donghua University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, and the key construction institutions of the “211 Project” officially approved by the state are jointly built and managed by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal people’s Government. It is the first batch of schools in China with the right to grant doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degrees, and has postdoctoral mobile stations. The predecessor of the school, East China Institute of Textile Technology, was founded in June 1951. In September 1985, the school changed its name to China Textile University. In August 1999, the school changed its name to Donghua University.

Adult education of Donghua University began in 1956. Relying on the advantages of the school and meeting the needs of economic construction for talents, the College has trained more than 21600 undergraduate and junior college graduates for night university, correspondence and part-time study, and more than 24000 students for all kinds of training and continuing education. The college has won the titles of “National Adult higher Education Advanced Unit”, “Shanghai Adult higher Education Advanced Collective”, “Shanghai excellent Brand Building Unit for promoting the Construction of Learning Society”, “Shanghai Adult Education Advanced Collective from 2006 to 2010” and so on. In June 2001, Donghua University became a national modern distance education pilot university officially approved by the Ministry of Education. In November of the same year, the Institute of online Education was officially established. Donghua Network Institute is also a member of the network education college cooperation group of seven modern distance education pilot universities in Shanghai.

The college adheres to the principle of “continuing education and independent education”, vigorously promotes non-diploma education, steadily improves the quality of diploma education, strengthens the use of modern distance technology, and strives to become a distinctive, multi-level and international college of continuing education.

The School of continuing Education of Donghua University offers higher education for adults majoring in clothing art design, environmental art design, industrial design, digital media, animation, exhibition art and technology, performance, international economy and trade, logistics management, business management, marketing, accounting, administration, English, Japanese and so on.

Students who have obtained formal student status will obtain a diploma electronically registered by the Ministry of Education after completing and passing all the courses and teaching links specified in the teaching plan within the prescribed number of years. Undergraduate students who obtain a diploma within the academic system may apply for a bachelor’s degree in adult higher education if they meet the requirements for awarding a degree.

Traffic environment

The college is located in the Yanan West Road Campus of Donghua University with a beautiful and pleasant campus environment. It is a “Shanghai Garden Unit” with all kinds of facilities such as library, canteen and sports ground on the campus. The college has convenient transportation, which is adjacent to Yan’an West Road Station of Metro Line 3 and 4, and can be directly reached by multiple buses in the city.
