湖南大学毕业生就业指导中心(就业办)，隶属湖南大学招生与就业指导处，主要工作职责是：根据国家的就业方针、政策以及学校的有关要求制定毕业生就业工作实施办法;向社会发布毕业生求职信息;收集用人单位需求信息并及时向学生发布;接待用人单位，组织校园招聘活动;开展就业咨询与指导;维护和拓展毕业生就业市场;负责就业协议书的管理，编制毕业生就业方案;负责毕业生派遣、档案的归档、转递工作。

毕业生就业指导中心目前已初步建立起校内较为完善的毕业生就业市场和就业服务体系，实现了教育、管理和服务三位一体。多年来的工作得到了广大毕业生和用人单位的普遍欢迎和好评，学校多次被教育部、湖南省教育厅评为“毕业生就业工作先进单位”，湖南大学就业网被中国大学生在线评为“全国十佳服务类网站”。建立全国一流的毕业生就业指导中心是我们的工作目标，作为学校连接社会的窗口和桥梁，中心将以优良的环境、完善的设施、周到的服务，尽可能满足用人单位对招聘工作的各种服务需求。
