Jiaxing is a famous historical city with strong cultural accumulation. Liu Yuxi, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty, Lu Zhi, the great prime minister, Wu Zhen, the great painter and calligrapher of the Yuan Dynasty, Mao Dun, Shen Junru, Wang Guowei, Zhang Leping, Feng Zikai, Xu Zhimo, Jiang Baili, Jin Yong and Qian Junyi were all born in Jiaxing.

In the new century, with the rapid economic growth of Jiaxing, balanced regional development, learning from others and creating advantages, the people of Jiaxing have embarked on their own path of economic development. Education and training is an important foundation of economic development. In 2009, Jiaxing Mingde Vocational skills training School (referred to as “Mingde School”) was established, and Jiaxing Mingde Vocational skills training School was approved by Jiaxing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The vocational training school registered by Jiaxing Civil Affairs Bureau and with formal qualification for running a school (School license No.: Jialao Shimin 33040020000373) is a “3A” level social organization unit in Jiaxing. Jiaxing vocational skills training industry association vice chairman unit, the school focuses on vocational education, to “provide students with leading and practical vocational training services” as its life-long mission.
