高邮市第二中学，是2003年11月经扬州市教育局批准成立的一所优质高级中学，于2008年8月整体搬迁。学校位于高邮市城东新区，西面我市邮文化、古文化、水文化标志与象征的邮都文化广场;南邻沟通市内外、辐射城乡的高邮新车站;北过珠光大桥连通秦邮路。新二中占地148亩，建筑面积近3.3万平米，新校区按照“三星级”学校标准建设。现有43个教学班，2047名学生，1200多名住校生。实验大楼配有一流的实验设备;图书馆和多媒体教学网络，能满足学生阅读、训练、个性发展的需要。
