北京长城研修学院(简称长城学院)成立于2000年,是经北京市教委批准、具有招生资格的民办高等教育机构,是中国民办教育协会高等教育专业委员会常务理事单位。学院坐落于北京亦庄经济技术开发区,与世界五百强企业(诺基亚、奔驰、摩托罗拉、可口可乐等)毗邻。校区环境典雅,占地170多亩,可同时容纳14000多人住宿和教学,学院拥有完善的教学设施和雄厚的师资力量,顾问专家、讲师团逾1600人。

目前与全国200多所教育单位及国内多所重点大学建立了良好的合作关系,并为亦庄开发区国内外多家企业开展战略咨询和企业管理咨询,为企业输出行业人才数万人。学院荣获2011年度最受认可“十大民办高校”荣誉称号、“全国民办高等教育机构优质特色院校”称号等多项殊荣。

一、规范办学

我院学生在校学习期间,可以参加国家统一自学考试,经考试合格者可以取得国家承认的高等自学考试相关专业的学历证书(该证书属教育部,教育部电子注册,网上可查询,符合学位授予条件的授予学士学位毕业生可报考国家公务员、研究生、参加司法考试及出国留学)。为了更好的适应社会发展、学院采取“双轨制”教育制度。轨制教学实行国家自考学历考试课程必修和职业资格项目课程选修的教学模式。

二、名师执教

学院实施人才强校战略,依托首都着名高校雄厚的师资力量,高薪聘请来自北京联合大学、北京大学、清华大学、中国人民大学、北京师范大学、北京外国语大学、中国政法大学等各大高校知名教授任教。同时学院也拥有一大批素质优良、充满活力的专职教师队伍。通过内培外引、实施“名师工程”、青年教师培养计划,提升教学师资队伍的整体素质。而担任就业指导课的教师,都是来自各行业知名的高层管理者和一线的工程师、设计师,使学生不仅可以学到理论知识,还增加了一定的实践经验,从而为学生的就业奠定了坚实的基础。

三、校园文化

我院率先把企业的拓展训练、潜能开发、成功学教育、激励教育、教练技术、智力开发、九型人格等教学方式引入到大学课程中,学院还开设了大学生素质训练、职业生涯规划、现代职业素养、公文写作、演讲与口才、公共关系学、创业培训、开拓创新等课程,多方面提高学生的综合素质和能力。院校每年度都要举办“迎新生”、“元旦”、“五一”、“十一”、“相约长城”等大型文艺晚会,并定期举办篮球、足球、乒乓球、排球、台球、象棋等各种文体竞赛,同时还组织了丰富多彩的校园活动,如“ 长城杯”知识竞赛及文化节、电脑节、外语节、艺术节、“ 学生记者招待会”、“新闻沙龙”、摄影展、书画展、演讲赛等。

四、学生管理

学校在普通高校教育管理的基础上,引入拟军事化管理模式,包括军队军训、入学军事教育、每日军事生活制度、理想教育和革命传统教育、军事夏令营、军学共建活动、“3.5”学雷锋,“5.4”青年节等系列活动,培养学生奋发向上、顽强拼搏的精神。增强学生的组织性、纪律性,帮助学生树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观。新生入学后,进行入学教育和军训,使学生熟悉学校规章制度,养成良好的生活习惯。每班都设有专职班主任,对学生进行跟班管理,负责学生的思想、纪律、安全、学习与生活。宿舍配备专职管理人员进行安全与卫生管理,学生宿舍有管理老师。为了让家长及时了解学生的思想、学习、生活状况,学院定期与家长进行沟通。学校设有健全的党支部、团委、学生会、班委,使教学管理科学化、规范化、制度化,充分服务于学生。

Beijing Great Wall Research Institute (referred to as Great Wall College), established in 2000, is a private higher education institution approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and qualified for enrollment. It is the executive director of the higher Education Professional Committee of China Private Education Association. The college is located in Beijing Yizhuang Economic and technological Development Zone, adjacent to the world’s top 500 enterprises (Nokia, Mercedes-Benz, Motorola, Coca-Cola, etc.). The campus has an elegant environment, covering an area of more than 170mu, which can accommodate more than 14000 people for accommodation and teaching at the same time.
