广东财经职业技术学院

广东财经职业学院坐落于广东省广州市，是一所经国家教育部批准成立备案，培养高技能人才的财经类普通高等学校。由广东省财政厅主管教学，归口广东省教育厅管理，坐落在国家级风景名胜区白云山北麓，是广州市花园式单位。

学院前身是组建于1980年的广东成人财经学院，1995年改建为广东财税高等专科学校，2001年7月更名为广东财经职业学院。在20余年的办学过程中，学院形成了以财经技能教育为重点的办学特色，着力培养学生在财经行业第一线进行操作、指导和管理的能力，以适应广东省地方经济建设和社会发展对人才的需求。学院设有财税、会计、经贸、资产投资管理、信息管理、文化应用与传播等6个系。学院以财税和会计为龙头专业，根据市场需求设置了财政与税务、税务代理与筹划、会计学、商务英语、金融学、计算机技术、电子商务技术、市场营销、商务文秘等15个专业。

师资力量

现有教职工199人，其中，专任教师167人，正副教授45人，讲师85人，博士硕士学历占52.7%，双师型教师占70%以上。其中院内专任教师179人，兼课教师42人，校外兼职兼课教师57人。有高级职称教师37人，博士、硕士119人，“双师”素质教师118人。教师科研学术能力强，成果丰厚，公开出版论著120余部，发表学术论文100多篇，承担、参与广东省部级科研课题12项。

Guangdong Vocational College of Finance and Economics, located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is an ordinary financial college approved by the Ministry of Education to train high-skilled talents. It is in charge of teaching by the Department of Finance of Guangdong Province and managed by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province. it is located at the northern foot of Baiyun Mountain, a national scenic spot, and is a garden-style unit in Guangzhou.

The college, formerly known as Guangdong College of Adult Finance and Economics, was established in 1980, was converted into Guangdong Finance and Taxation College in 1995, and changed its name to Guangdong Vocational College of Finance and Economics in July 2001. In the course of running a school for more than 20 years, the college has formed a school-running feature focusing on financial and economic skills education, focusing on cultivating students’ ability to operate, guide and manage in the front line of the financial and economic industry. in order to meet the needs of local economic construction and social development in Guangdong Province. The college has six departments: finance and taxation, accounting, economy and trade, asset investment management, information management, cultural application and communication. The college takes finance, taxation and accounting as the leading majors, and has set up 15 majors according to market demand, such as finance and taxation, tax agency and planning, accounting, business English, finance, computer technology, e-commerce technology, marketing, business secretary and so on.

Teachers’ strength

At present, there are 199 teaching staff, including 167 full-time teachers, 45 full-time professors and associate professors, 85 lecturers, 52.7% of them have doctoral and master’s degrees, and more than 70% of them are double-qualified teachers. Among them, there are 179 full-time teachers, 42 part-time teachers and 57 part-time teachers outside the school. There are 37 teachers with senior professional titles, 119 doctors and masters, and 118 teachers with “double teachers” quality. Teachers have strong academic ability and fruitful achievements in scientific research. They have published more than 120 books, published more than 100 academic papers, and undertaken and participated in 12 ministerial-level scientific research projects in Guangdong Province.

Award-winning situation

Over the past 28 years of running a school, the college has successively won the national advanced unit of financial education; the advanced unit of educational consultant work in the western region of the Ministry of Education in 2003 and 2004; the advanced grass-roots party organization of the organs directly under the Guangdong Provincial people’s Government; the excellent units for the upgrading of the archives of ordinary colleges and universities; the advanced greening units of Guangzhou and the garden-style units of Guangzhou. The sixth National Aerobics rhythmic Gymnastics Championships aerobics team first prize, mixed six first prize; Guangdong college students local tax knowledge competition first prize and other awards. In the face of new opportunities and challenges, the college is working hard to build the college into a well-known financial and economic university with distinctive features in Guangdong Province, and to make due contributions to Guangdong’s construction of a strong educational province with practical actions.
