济南大学(University of
Jinan)是山东省人民政府和教育部共建高校，山东省重点建设大学，教育部卓越计划高校，国家级工程实践教育中心共建高校，是山东特色名校工程首批应用型特色名校高校之一。拥有学士、硕士、博士学位授予权和硕士研究生免试推荐权，面向全国招生。

建设成果

截至2013年底，学校共承担国家科技支撑计划、国家“973计划”、“863计划”、国家自然科学基金、国家社会科学基金等国家级科研课题296项，省部级项目766项;获得省部级以上科研奖励197项，其中获国家技术发明二等奖1项，国家科学技术进步二等奖3项;获的国家发明专利305项;学术论文被SCI、EI、SSCI、CSSCI收录3800余篇，出版专著、译著和教材214部。

科研平台

截至2013年底，学校建有省部级以上研究平台48个，其中省部共建国家重点实验室培育基地1个、教育部工程研究中心1个、省级重点实验室11个、“十二五”省高校重点实验室4个、省级人文社科研究基地7个、省级工程技术研究中心10个。

学院设置

截至2013年底，学校设26个学院、2个教学中心，89个本科专业。其中主校区设置21个学院，舜耕校区设置3个学院，明水校区和蓬莱校区分别设置1个学院。学科专业涵盖经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、医学、管理学和艺术学等10个门类。

师资队伍

学校现有专任教师2134人，其中教授305人，副教授707人，具有博士学位的776人，中国工程院院士2人，国家万人计划2人，国家百千万人才工程2人，教育部教学指导委员会委员7人，教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划2人，国家教学名师1人，国家级教学团队1个，泰山学者攀登计划人选2人，泰山学者特聘教授、海外特聘专家16人，国家和省部级有突出贡献专家26人，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家70人，省级教学名师10人，省级优秀教学团队6个。

Jinan University (University of

Jinan) is a university jointly built by the people’s Government of Shandong Province and the Ministry of Education, the key construction university of Shandong Province, the excellent plan university of the Ministry of Education, and the national engineering practice education center. It is one of the first batch of applied famous universities in Shandong characteristic university project. It has the right to grant bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees and the right to exempt postgraduates from the examination, and enroll students all over the country.

Construction achievements

By the end of 2013, the school had undertaken 296 national scientific research projects, including the National Science and Technology support Plan, the National “973 Program”, the “863 Program”, the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Fund, and 766 projects at the provincial and ministerial level. it has won 197 scientific research awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level, including 1 second prize for national technological invention, 3 second prize for national scientific and technological progress, and 305 national invention patents. More than 3800 academic papers have been collected by SCI, EI, SSCI and CSSCI, and 214monographs, translations and teaching materials have been published.

Scientific research platform

By the end of 2013, the school had 48 research platforms at or above the provincial and ministerial level. among them, there are 1 national key laboratory training base, 1 engineering research center of the Ministry of Education, 11 provincial key laboratories, 4 provincial key laboratories of universities in the 12th five-year Plan, 7 provincial humanities and social science research bases and 10 provincial engineering and technical research centers.

College setup

By the end of 2013, the school has set up 26 colleges, 2 teaching centers and 89 undergraduate majors. Among them, there are 21 colleges in the main campus, 3 colleges in Shun Geng campus, and 1 college in Mingshui campus and Penglai campus respectively. Disciplines include economics, law, pedagogy, literature, history, science, engineering, medicine, management and art.

Teaching staff

The school now has 2134 full-time teachers, including 305 professors, 707 associate professors, 776 with doctoral degrees, 2 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 2 of the National Ten Thousand talents Plan and 2 of the National 10 million Talent Project. There are 7 members of the Teaching steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, 2 members of the New Century Talent support Program of the Ministry of Education, 1 national teacher, 1 national teaching team and 2 candidates for the Taishan Scholars climbing Program. There are 16 specially appointed professors of Taishan scholars and 16 overseas experts, 26 experts with outstanding contributions at the national, provincial and ministerial levels, 70 experts enjoying the special allowance of the State Council, 10 provincial teachers and 6 provincial excellent teaching teams.
