成都学院(成都大学)座落在中国历史文化名城、西南地区的教育、科技、商贸、金融中心和西部交通通信枢纽城市——成都市。学校主校区位于十陵历史文化风景区。成都学院(成都大学)是成都市人民政府主办的唯一一所全日制普通本科院校，实行“省市共建、以市为主”的办学体制。

学校始建于1978年，校名为“成都大学”。建校之初为本科院校设置。1983年，接受世界银行贷款，停办本科，改办专科。2003年，经教育部批准恢复为普通本科院校建制，暂更名为“成都学院”，并保留“成都大学”校名。

学校占地2714亩，校舍面积60.9万平方米，教学科研行政用房33.4万平方米，教学设备仪器总值达1.37亿元，馆藏图书178.7万册。

学校办学规模较大，学科门类较全。学校已形成以工学、人文学科、管理学为主，多学科协调发展的格局。现有四川省重点学科1个，优势学科4个。硕士学位一级学科3个，二级学科及专业领域17个。全校现有57个本科专业，在校生21231人。

学校师资结构合理，素质优良。学校专任教师1064人，具有高级职称的教师548人。学校有国家杰出青年基金获得者1人、长江学者与创新团队计划教育部创新团队带头人1人、新世纪“百千万人才工程”国家级人选1人、中科院引进海外杰出人才“百人计划”择优支持人选1人、国务院政府特殊津贴专家10人，教育部新世纪优秀人才1人、四川省学术和技术带头人及后备人选11人。

Chengdu College (Chengdu University) is located in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city in China, a center of education, science and technology, commerce and trade in southwest China, and a transportation and communications hub city in the west. The school was founded in 1978 and is named Chengdu University. The university was set up for undergraduate colleges at the beginning of its establishment. In 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was restored to an ordinary undergraduate university, temporarily renamed “Chengdu College”, and retained the name of “Chengdu University”.
