成都学院(成都大学)座落在中国历史文化名城、西南地区的教育、科技、商贸、金融中心和西部交通通信枢纽城市——成都市。学校主校区位于十陵历史文化风景区。成都学院(成都大学)是成都市人民政府主办的唯一一所全日制普通本科院校,实行“省市共建、以市为主”的办学体制。

学校始建于1978年,校名为“成都大学”。建校之初为本科院校设置。1983年,接受世界银行贷款,停办本科,改办专科。2003年,经教育部批准恢复为普通本科院校建制,暂更名为“成都学院”,并保留“成都大学”校名。

学校占地2714亩,校舍面积60.9万平方米,教学科研行政用房33.4万平方米,教学设备仪器总值达1.37亿元,馆藏图书178.7万册。

学校办学规模较大,学科门类较全。学校已形成以工学、人文学科、管理学为主,多学科协调发展的格局。现有四川省重点学科1个,优势学科4个。硕士学位一级学科3个,二级学科及专业领域17个。全校现有57个本科专业,在校生21231人。

学校师资结构合理,素质优良。学校专任教师1064人,具有高级职称的教师548人。学校有国家杰出青年基金获得者1人、长江学者与创新团队计划教育部创新团队带头人1人、新世纪“百千万人才工程”国家级人选1人、中科院引进海外杰出人才“百人计划”择优支持人选1人、国务院政府特殊津贴专家10人,教育部新世纪优秀人才1人、四川省学术和技术带头人及后备人选11人。

学校坚持以教学质量为生命线,积极推进教育教学改革。2012年,被确定为教育部第二批“卓越工程师教育培养计划”高校;同年,顺利通过教育部本科教学评估;2013年,土木工程专业入选教育部“本科教学工程”地方高校首批本科综合改革试点专业;2014年,学校获省级高等教育教学成果一等奖2项,二等奖3项,三等奖4项。学校拥有国家级特色专业2个、省级特色专业5个、市级特色专业4个;现有2个省级人才培养模式创新实验区、4个省级教学团队、1门国家级精品资源共享课程,27门省级精品课程和4个省级实验教学示范中心、2个国家级实践教育项目等质量工程建设项目。

学校科学研究成绩明显,服务地方工作卓有成效。学校现有隶属于中国微生物菌种保藏管理委员会的“新抗生素菌种保藏管理中心”1个、原国家计委批准设立的“国家新抗生素工业性实验基地”1个、科技部批准设立的“国际科技合作基地(生物医药类)”1个。拥有“抗生素研究与再评价四川省重点实验室”、“肉类加工四川省重点实验室”等省部级科技平台、四川省教育厅高校重点实验室及人文社科重点研究基地共15个。近五年,学校承担各级各类科研项目600余项,直接服务于成都市社会经济发展的科研和技术转化项目408项。2013年学校在SCI

学校坚持“以人为本,德育为先,成才第一”的学生工作理念,努力构建系统育人机制。近三年,应届毕业生平均就业率93.63%,并连续5次获评“四川省高校毕业生就业工作先进单位”。2009年以来,学生参加全国“挑战杯”大学生课外科技作品竞赛、全国大学生机械创新设计竞赛、全国大学生数学建模竞赛等各项学科竞赛中屡创佳绩,获得全国和省级学科竞赛奖励100余项。

学校坚持开放办学,积极推进国际合作与交流,服务成都国际化能力不断提高。先后与美国、英国、新西兰、泰国等20多个国家以及香港、台湾地区的40余所院校开展长期合作。2010年,与美国新罕布什尔大学共建孔子学院,积极推广汉语教育和中华文化,成为省内第二所在海外建立孔子学院的高校,并于2013年成功获批设立两所孔子课堂。学校与新西兰怀卡托理工学院开展了学历教育、师生交流互访等全面合作,与泰王国皇家吉拉达学校合作设立“诗琳通泰国语言文化课堂”等,为师生拓展国际化视野提供了良好的平台。同时学校促成了成都市与泰国清迈省、新西兰汉密尔顿市建立国际友城关系。

Chengdu College (Chengdu University) is located in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city in China, a center of education, science and technology, commerce and trade in southwest China, and a transportation and communications hub city in the west.
