武汉大学医学院

武汉大学基础医学院坐落在风景秀丽、粼波万倾的东湖之畔，环境优美，教学设施先进。经过近七十年的发展，我院已发展成为集教学、科研和社会服务于一体的国家基础医学人才培养和科学研究基地。

武汉大学基础医学院源于湖北省立医学院基础部，创始人为爱国学者朱裕璧教授。朱裕璧教授留学德国期间立志为祖国创办一所医学院、造就一大批高级医护人才。1943年在艰苦抗战时期朱裕璧教授建院于湖北临时省会恩施。

师资力量

基础医学院现任院长为国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、病毒学国家重点实验室副主任、博士生导师郭德银教授。学院下设9个系1所3个中心3个办公室，现有教职工240人，其中具有高级职称教师90人(教授37人，副教授53人)，博士生导师48人(其中从海外引进的客座教授、兼职博导17人)。国家“千人计划”入选者1人，长江学者特聘教授1人，长江学者讲座教授1人，珞珈学者特聘教授2人，珞珈学者讲座教授8人，国家973首席科学家1人，国家杰出青年基金获得者2人，湖北省“百人计划”1人，楚天学者特聘教授1人，楚天学者讲座教授2人，1人入选“新世纪百千万人才工程”，湖北省创新团队2个。

学位授予点

学院拥有基础医学一级学科博士学位授予权、基础医学博士后流动站、国家“985工程”和“211工程”重点建设项目、省级重点学科(基础医学一级、药理学二级)，有1门国家级双语教学示范课程(医学免疫学)，1个国家级教学团队，5门省级精品课程(药理学、人体解剖学、病理生理学、人体寄生虫学和医学免疫学)，1个省级示范实验教学中心，1个省级重点实验室(过敏及免疫相关疾病实验室)、1个海外留学人员开放实验室。近年来获卫生部全国优秀教材一等奖1项，人体寄生虫学音像教材《日本血吸虫》获“第五届全国优秀教育音像制品奖”一等奖。[1]

对外交流

学院积极实施开放性办学的战略，与美国耶鲁大学、比利时根特大学、芬兰瓦沙综合科技大学、日本福岛医科大学、法国南锡大学等20多个国家及香港、台湾地区的一些院校、国际组织建立了院(校)际交流关系。目前，已开设与法国南锡大学联合培养七年制临床医学专业的中法实验班。近年来，学院广泛开展国际间交流与合作，积极研究和应用国外当代先进医学教学、科研手段，为早日建成一流的基础医学院而努力奋斗。

实验中心设置

该院拥有全国一流的人体解剖学教学实验室、设施先进的基础医学实验教学中心和10个省级教学合格实验室，全面实行了多媒体教学、仿真教学等多种现代化教学方式，部分学科正在积极开展双语教学。全院获得了多项教学科研成果，其中人体寄生虫学音像教材《日本血吸虫》获“第五届全国优秀教育音像制品奖”一等奖，生理学在实验课的教学中采用了学导式的教学模式，培养了学生的科研创新精神，为医学创新教育理论提供了实践经验。目前我院已成为培养高素质的、具有创新意识的优秀医学专业人才的摇篮。武汉大学人民医院、中南医院和口腔医院三所全国三级甲等医院为我院所有医学生的临床教学实习基地。几十年来，已培养了医学本科生2万余名，博士、硕士生3千余名，为国家卫生、教育、科学事业作出了重要的贡献。

The School of basic Medicine of Wuhan University is located on the bank of the East Lake with beautiful scenery and advanced teaching facilities. After nearly 70 years of development, our college has developed into a national basic medical personnel training and scientific research base integrating teaching, scientific research and social service.

The School of basic Medicine of Wuhan University comes from the basic Department of Hubei Provincial Medical College, and its founder is Professor Zhu Yubi, a patriotic scholar. During his study in Germany, Professor Zhu Yubi is determined to set up a medical school for the motherland and bring up a large number of senior medical talents. In 1943, during the difficult Anti-Japanese War, Professor Zhu Yubi was founded in Enshi, the temporary capital of Hubei Province.

Teachers’ strength

The current dean of the basic Medical College is Professor Guo Deyin, winner of the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation, deputy director of the State key Laboratory of Virology and doctoral supervisor. The college has 9 departments, 3 centers and 3 offices, and currently has 240 faculty members, including 90 teachers with senior professional titles (37 professors and 53 associate professors) and 48 doctoral supervisors (including 17 visiting professors and part-time doctoral instructors introduced from overseas). One member of the Thousand talents Plan, one specially appointed professor of Yangtze River scholars, one chair professor of Yangtze River scholars, two specially appointed professors of Luoga scholars, eight chair professors of Luojia scholars, one national 973 chief scientist, two winners of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, one hundred talents Plan of Hubei Province, one specially appointed professor of Chutian scholars and two chair professors of Chutian scholars. One person was selected into the “10 million Talent Project in the New Century” and two innovation teams in Hubei Province.

Degree awarding point

The college has the right to grant doctoral degrees in first-tier disciplines of basic medicine, postdoctoral stations in basic medicine, national key construction projects of “985 Project” and “211 Project”, and provincial key disciplines (basic medicine level I and pharmacology level II). There is a national bilingual teaching demonstration course (medical immunology) and a national teaching team. Five provincial quality courses (pharmacology, human anatomy, pathophysiology, human parasitology and medical immunology), one provincial demonstration experimental teaching center, one provincial key laboratory (allergy and immune related diseases laboratory), and one open laboratory for overseas students. In recent years, it has won the first prize of the National excellent textbook of the Ministry of Health, and the audio-visual textbook of human parasitology “Schistosoma japonicum” won the first prize of the Fifth National excellent Educational Audio and Video products Award. Foreign exchange

The college actively implements the strategy of open education, it has established inter-school exchange relations with more than 20 countries, including Yale University in the United States, Ghent University in Belgium, Vasha Comprehensive University of Science and Technology in Finland, Fukushima Medical University in Japan, Nancy University in France, and some universities and international organizations in Hong Kong and Taiwan. At present, a Sino-French experimental class has been set up to jointly train seven-year clinical medicine majors with the University of Nancy in France. In recent years, the college has carried out extensive international exchanges and cooperation, actively studied and applied foreign advanced medical teaching and research methods, and worked hard to build a first-class basic medical college as soon as possible.

Experimental center setup

The institute has first-class human anatomy teaching laboratories, advanced basic medical experimental teaching centers and 10 provincial qualified laboratories, and has comprehensively implemented a variety of modern teaching methods, such as multimedia teaching and simulation teaching. some subjects are actively carrying out bilingual teaching. The whole hospital has obtained a number of teaching and scientific research achievements, among which Schistosoma japonicum, the audio-visual textbook of human parasitology, won the first prize of the Fifth National excellent Educational Audio and Video products Award, and physiology adopted a learning-guided teaching mode in the experimental teaching. it cultivates students’ spirit of scientific research and innovation, and provides practical experience for the theory of medical innovative education. At present, our hospital has become the cradle of cultivating excellent medical professionals with high quality and innovative consciousness. The people’s Hospital of Wuhan University, Central South Hospital and Stomatological Hospital, three national Grade 3A hospitals are the clinical teaching practice bases for all medical students in our hospital. Over the past few decades, it has trained more than 20,000 medical undergraduates and more than 3,000 doctoral and master’s degree students, making important contributions to the national health, education and science cause.
